~ When Noah walked away from Janae, it had nothing to do with being in love. ~
NOAH - Nothing can stop me from completing the mission. Being a Navy SEAL is in my blood and I’ve never regretted my career choice. Until the day she walked into my life. Her voice soothed my soul. The soft touch of her hands set my skin ablaze with the need to keep her forever. When the day came that I had to leave, I had every intention to return. Then came the day I realized I couldn’t. Ripping my heart from my chest, I knew it was better if I walked away. Years later, I’m back to reclaim what’s mine. I’ve returned to the woman who owns my heart, my soul, and my happiness.
JANAE - All my life I’ve been a good girl. Followed the lead of my parents, my church, and my community. Until the day he walked into my life. It was the first time my heart and soul were in alignment. He showed me what it meant to be fully desired. I craved him. I needed him. I loved him. Then he left without a backward glance, shattering me into a million pieces. Forced to become stronger than I’d been before he entered my world, I’m committed to moving on with my life. When he returns, it’s time to decide if holding on to the pain is worth the heartache, or if I’m strong enough to grab hold of my future and never let go.

The characters I write will not be perfect. None of us are. They will make mistakes. All of the hero's will have redeeming qualities, but on the outset, you may not be their biggest fan. My heroine's will be the kind of women you want to hang out with. They're the women next door, down the street and around the corner. They are the ladies you would want to spend time with on a Saturday night drinking a martini.
I have been an avid reader of romance novels since the age of 14 and know what appeals to me as reader. My goal is, and will always be, to provide that same experience for the women and men who read my novellas and short stories.
I’m a former Marine and served for 8 years, so strong military men will always be a favorite topic of mine. I will continue to write stories with military heroes’ front and center. I’m also a fan of Alpha-males and strong women who love with everything they have.
Janae believed in Noah the way she believed in no one else, until he shattered trust. Now she's hardened her heart and the only one who can break through her walls is the gift he didn't know he left behind. Noah loves Janae with all his heart but he thinks she would be better off without him. It takes years for him to realize that where he belongs is with Janae, but after so much time and so many misunderstandings will they be able to find there way back into each others arms. This story had me from beginning to end. Noah and Janae could both be frustrating at times which made for a some unnecessary drama between the two, but it did make for an entertaining story line. These two, along with the assorted characters they interacted with had me at times wanting to scream and at other times laughing along with their antics. The love scenes were smokin hot also. The author did a great job in telling Janae and Noah's story and I look forward to see who's up next in the Heaven On Earth series.
The mature level of the female lead is questionable. The small town girl having wild and crazy jungle sex with a outsider without anyone aware of their relationship is possible but unlikely. She has friends and family and coworkers and someone would notice a change in her pattern. The church folks and parents who provide all the noise in her head when she shows up pregnant is almost comically stereotypical.
Meanwhile GI Joe is wilding about in denial figures out the woman is what he needs and sets out to find her again. Once I realized this author had another work I’d tried to read and rejected I was okay. The characters lack depth and all the words collected come off as amateurish. I did finish this book
But I disliked it at the same time. Janae allowed Noah back into her life way too easily. As a single parent and veteran; I understand to a certain extent why Noah did what he did. But I also know that what he did was extremely cruel and selfish. Even though Janae had other issues; I never did feel that Noah fully understood what he did to her. It seemed like everything was glossed over. After waiting so long for this story; I was disappointed in the content. I just needed more.
What’s love without trust? Noah thought he was doing the right thing by letting Janae go and not returning any of her messages! He broke that trust had to earned it back with forgiveness. In Homecoming book 4, we get to read about Noah and Janae getting a second chance at love and heal the hurt that caused them pain. Nicole was so adorable how she accepted Noah. Looking forward to more of Reana’s book
4.25 Stars / 3.5 Fans Devoured this in one day, the first day of 2026!! It tackled some widespread stereotypes of IR romance that I appreciated seeing.
The book was a fun read. I was disappointed that once again you have a mother keeping her child a secret because she fears she will be rejected. The kid is the ultimate looser but it never seems to be a consideration. To make the book more believable i would have preferred them to co parent for a while while getting to know each other. However given his job time was of the essence. I wish we saw the meeting with his parents. What really bothers me though is that again the author have the military personnel resign. It’s unfair to the military and reading about their difficulties with family life would make more interesting books. They could also be promoted so that they are not on the front line. What does overwatch do by the way?
Noah Braddock was the big brother to the Heaven on Earth crew and his story was a long time coming.
Noah met a woman that took his breath away and stole his heart and mind at the same time. He found peace and contentment while still serving his country in dangerous missions. All was well until it wasn't.
Janae was in love with Noah and then he disappeared without a word. Her foundation was rocked and she had to rebuild.
Fortune smiles upon them and they have a second chance at happiness. But will Mama's forgive NoN for us disappearing act of will she walk away with her heart intact. Purchase the book and find out.
I gave five stars because this was close to what service members feel when leaving family behind to do their job. You nail it with the feels and choices we make when we deal with our family and friends. Thank you putting in words what others never capture. This story blew me away. You did a great job i know Janae seem childish but i understood her for in the south that is mindset an sometimes it just take one person to change one mindset. Thank you for this book. It was on point. Hooray hooray. Yes i was Navy and you put the words down just way they needed to be said. Thank you.
There story was written well, but I personally had a hard time connecting with the main character forgiving him so quickly. I felt she was apologizing way too much than necessary. I believe she doesn't owe him an apology. If he wanted to know what was going on all he had to do was get into contact with her. I apologize, but he mostly put the blame on her. Then he magically wants to start a relationship again without working out there issues. She is obviously going to have doubts because he has the worse track record. I felt the rushed into the relationship and she will always resent him.
I really fell in love with these characters but was looking for a little more action. There were a lot of repeat phrases. Not sure if it was to add to word count or what.
I have read mostly all of Reana Malori's books but I have to say this was my favorite. I loved Noah and Janae together. I enjoyed the chemistry displayed between the two them both inside and outside the bedroom. Noah is a strong navy seal but when he had to convince Janae of his love for her his vulnerabilities came through which made you like this character even more. Janae was also strong, she withstood so much and was able to find her way back to Noah. This story had lots of good supporting characters that interacted with the main characters, which helped round out the story. Homecoming is a very good read, one I'm sure I'll read again and again.
Noah and Janae's story took me places that I didn't expect to go, but am oh so glad that it did. Of course you for the hotness, that was to be expected but the subplot of the way that she was treated by her church "family" really made me feel some kind of way. This story was a lesson in "all Christians ain't Christ like". I love the way Noah defended her but also made her realize that she had her part to play in it as well and that as an adult, she no longer had to be subjected to them. Then he introduced her to a really family. Not one of blood, but one chosen. Overall a very good read.
I have read the series books 1-4. And have enjoyed them all, however #4 Homecoming touched me the most. It bought to the light some of the horrible things people do and say in the name of their GOD. Just because you go to church does not make you a good person, not even the Preacher. And people that you are related to by blood are not always your family. It was a beautiful love story Noah showed Janae what real strength, family, forgiveness and love were. A wonderful HEA. I recommend the entire series and can't want for the future books in the series to come
This book is excellent. Janae annoyed me to no end but she finally got her self together. I love that the author was able to convey the strife of active duty and the toll it takes on the service member and their loved ones. This book is hot sexy and genuine
When I tell you that Reana Malori never disappoints, believe it!!! This book is well written and flows flawlessly. I am in awe of the storyline and how it fits. The character interaction is perfect and the book has a believable plot. I often imagine myself as a character in the story and this one is no different. You have done the damn thing with Homecoming. Bravo and 5+++ stars to you!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this read and the ENTIRE SERIES!!!
Bravo, now this is the type of writing I am use to by this author. Although, I wanted to whoop Sharon too, cannot stand a busybody. Noah is the man, and Janae had moments I was ready to hit her upside the head and say girl grow a pair.
So much more I would like to say but, I don’t want to spoil it.
This was a great read. The story flowed from one chapter to the next with great ease. The characters were well developed and had enough depth to make them relatable. While the chapters flowed easily some of the time transitions left a few holes in the story. Overall a great read, worth the purchase.
I have been waiting for Noah and Janae’s story and it was well worth the wait. I had a couple of laugh out loud moments and I had moments of being mad at both Noah and Janae this just means that the story was really relatable. Can’t wait for Daniel and Chanel (wink wink).
Noah meets Janae and it's love at first of for both of them. Everything is going good until Noah disappears without warning Janae where he's gone. Fast forward four years, they are both in for a surprise and Noah will have to win Janae's trust again and Janae will have some explaining to do, too.
I love this series. Homecoming's characters and storyline are fantastic . What Janae had to endure was truly crazy but real. Racism is horrible. I love Janae's strength. When Noah returned, he made sure that everyone knew that he, Janae and Nicole were family. Regardless of what the entire town thought. Thank you for sharing this
I enjoyed reading this book so ! I couldn't put my kindle down! I enjoyed the storyline and the chemistry between Janae and Noah! Fantastic book! So happy that the couple got their happy ever after!
I truly enjoyed this story. Janae made me wanna shake her a few times, but I loved her character anyway, Noah is my favorite though. Anytime I feel like physically assaulting a fictional character, I know the story is going to be great!!
Read all the book in the series, only have one question when is the next one coming out. Love these guys . Extended family members are awesome. Great writer. Know how to keep you engaged in a story.
Another excellent instalment in the series. Again tackling another important subject with great sensitivity. I do so enjoy this series only problem now I have to wait for my next instalment.
Dean's has done it again by writing a very amazing story. Noah is definitely a man I would love for myself. I started this book and could not put it down.
For Noah & myself. I read the first three of this series in quick succession last year. Then I stopped and for months forgot about them while reading other stories. Don't know why I waited til a new year to go back but I'm glad I did. I understand Noah's reasons for his silence to a point. But, It was too much, leaving Janae to deal with so much crap on her own. I was so angered and irritated by the whole town's treatment of Janae. The author did a great job of portraying small minded bigotry and hateful spite and hypocrisy which is not exclusive to any one race. Janae was so beaten down by it and if not for the birth of her daughter she may have just folded and given up. The characters are again relatable and fleshed out well. One can't help loving this strong crazy wonderful family and I will be on the lookout for more. Well Done ! 👏
Look. I'm averaging about a book every 2 to 3 days with this author! Lady, I do NOT know how I have been missing your stories!!! Because ALL of your Heaven on Earth series are the BOMB!!!! Do you hear me??OMG!!!!!! When I read the last book of this set. I will start on another series of hers,Because I know that I won't be disappointed!!
