Rate this book
Owen D'Monet, once an ordinary optimistic guy, finds himself hunted by Sallie Mae (for insurmountable student loan debt) and hounded by an assortment of villains while trying to clear up his credit rating, maintain a sense of humor, and just live.

Easier said than done.He looses his marbles, but who wouldn't?

Maybe we don't need our marbles anyway.

The Kind of Fight We Need Right Now

We all know a hero like Owen D'Monet, and Mr. Henderson entertainingly gives us a story of the real struggle for respect that too many people face in the act of trying to do the right thing. Owen owes money, if you haven't figured that out, on student loans and would like to honorably pay his debt, only obstacles and hurdles deliberately set up prevent him. Mr.Henderson's insight into this real struggle is delivered through Owen's travels and tribulations. Owen somehow always takes the high road (maybe sometimes because of the advice from his talking rubber chicken). Owen is the type of character Studs Terkel would champion.
