New author for me and Badger was a recommend read but I decided to read the box set as it was in KU.
Enjoyable overall and well written.
The characters are relatable but the overall plot is unrealistic.
The timeline felt a bit off in my head, but by only by a year or so.
But how much older are these men than these 18-year-olds they are with.
Pity I found very little connection between all these couples, lots of sex but no heat or chemistry.
Maybe the fact I didn’t have to wait to read the next book makes it easier to give a cooler review as th repetition became annoying.

1 - DASH
Read in the box set through Kindle Unlimited.
Enjoyable enough read with only a few errors that I picked up.
I never felt the timeline was right due to a few factors I won’t go into.
Entertaining enough though the whole dairy farm/orphanage/Octavius thing was a bit farfetched for me. Especially as they are keeping him alive for some revenge reason.
I did like Ember and Dash as a couple and some of the other characters caught my interest.
Thought it wrapped up to quickly but I assume the story will continue in the next book.

2 - DUKE
Just couldn’t like these two as main characters and ended up not caring about them.
Wow, cannot say Duke is a prize. What an utter rotten excuse for a hero.
He sleeps with a young girl/woman, the sister of his MC brother no less. One with emotional issues due to a traumatic past event.
Duke gets her pregnant, then chases her off when he misunderstands something he overhears when drugged up in hospital.
But he is already married. Never tried to push for a divorce, just gave it lip service.
WHY he married another woman and how he treated Shannon by leaving without a word after just a few weeks of marriage, was so disgusting as to be unforgivable.
Reese is emotionally damaged, no doubt that she is immature. Her actions continually prove this even though she is a mother. Why did Reese never get counselling?
I lost interest in these two the moment Reece allows him back into her bed and body, which is right after she has just seen him with a club whore, and called him out about being married, and that he apparently married some psycho woman for her money.
His reasons for doing so were not good enough.
And even though we get a big twist about that situation, which was quite good and lots of explanation about other things, I was just about done in once again when Reece is allowed to interrogate the woman who kidnapped her baby.
Lacking some details. Reese is 18 and pregnant but gets a job. Doing what?
The ending was good and I do want to read about Annabelle and her story.

3 - PHOENIX
Not a romantic love story but entertaining.
Good to read about what exactly happened to Annabelle.
It was pretty much as expected from reading the previous books.
Overall it was enjoyable and fairly entertaining.
The whole family dynamics was screwed sideways but I know real families with similar family trees.
A few things are overlooked instead of dealt with.
Phoenix obviously has been with other women over the last nineteen years, he is a man and a biker, but Annabelle was too chicken to raise the subject.
Except, big problem for me was, Phoenix claimed her as his OLD LADY when he patched in but as Annabelle was missing, he had sex with other women.
We are sort of told, or led to believe, he didn’t have full sex with the women as his d**k has Annabelle’s name tattooed on it. Wonder what the women who he WAS with thought of that.
Wouldn’t have minded if Annabelle had had a life but no, she hasn’t been with anyone, even though she was around the Knights MC.
The interactions between the children was nice.
But the extra baddie that was suddenly thrown in to this story was pretty obvious once facts started coming to light and Octavius causes more problems, though he is finally dealt with.
I found the pregnancy with twins at the end just too much and not needed. Annabelle had her tubes tied years ago as she wanted no more children, so felt sorry for her.
Some silly errors made it through proofreading which is a pity as I enjoyed the fact the previous books were pretty clean.

4 - CARBON
Wow, these two have NO relationship apart from sex to start with.
As with some of the previous books I just didn’t feel any romance between the two main characters, Harper and Chase.
A lot of repetition from the previous stories takes up a fair bit at the beginning, and though understandable, is time consuming and boring when you have read them straight through in the box set.
The last half was good and quite different, though all a bit farfetched once again and it left me confused about the Vine family. What was the explanation for the father kidnapping Harper?
Seems as if the whole family was mentally unstable.
But the women all turning into bad**s killers and torturers is farfetched.

5 - SHAKER
Just found this okay.
Once again I felt no connection between Keegan and Jacob/Shaker.
Keegan was pretty okay and I admired that she toed the line in order to protect her 5 year old half sister from Keegans despotic stepfather.
She is correct in saying no one would believe her accusations against a senator.
Jacob/Shaker had grounds for his disillusionment and pain in regards to Beth but not in relation to Ashley. Why would he believe a club whore, one with a track record of being trouble.
He just wasn’t a nice or good man in relation to Keegan. But he was a good protector.
His family situation was unique but I didn’t get WHY he had walked away from his heritage, basically leaving his mother too.
And why was a spoiler for Badgers story, the last book in this box set, in the epilogue.

5.5 - BADGER
Felt sorry for both Macy and Aaron for losing all those years due to the manipulative lying and conniving of her parents.
I liked getting their story as Macy popped up again earlier in this series and seems to have had her life ripped away from her.
Aaron was mean until Annabelle talked to him and told him he needed to listen.
Saying that though he has enjoyed the MC lifestyle and I was a bit surprised that safe sex or a clean bill of health was not discussed before having sex.
Poor Macy, lied to, manipulated by and deceived in such a grievous way by her father and husband.
Loved how everything is twisted around by the Blackwings to sort out things and the divorce angle was funny.
At least felt some heat and connection with this second chance couple.
Read in the box set through Kindle Unlimited.

the first few books were fine. I enjoyed the style of writing and the storylines but then Cheltenham to get sammey. The heroine got kidnapped, people got shot, then she was rescued blah, blah.Hope

This box set is the full black wings MC series with an added bonus. As I already own the books in this series, I bought it for the bonus book. As I have already reviewed the series, I will only add a review of the bonus story to this.
Badger.
Badger is a novella in the black wings MC series. It is a bonus story in the box set. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable.
Badger and Macy was once a young couple in love before it all went wrong. Twenty years later and Macy is divorced and back in town.
The chemistry between Macy and Badger is clear to see and I liked them as a couple.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

I’m glad this series came in a box set because I binged all of the books. When I finished one and went right into the next book straight away. Teagan Brooks just became one of my new favourite authors. Her words are amazing and hooked me from the very first page of the first book Dash. This series is full of twists and turns and honestly it was my favourite thing about this series. I consistently wanted to know the answers of everything. Twists and turns is something Brooks is amazing at. I also enjoyed how all the books in this series are on a continuous storyline. I can’t recommend this series enough and will definitely be rereading it sometime in the future.

Honest Note: It has been awhile since I read this entire series. I have all the books on my Nook, but switched to KU last year, so a lot of my reads aren't listed here.

However, I will say I devoured this series and felt that while some books were better than others, the dynamics between the different connected MC locations (different series, same world) really made this a stand out set of reads by Teagan. These books will make you laugh, cry, and wish you lived in their world.

I will be using this same rating on all of these as I feel like I need to be open and honest about my rating.

Holy cow🐄, I 👍👍liked it!

I really enjoyed this series. The characters were wonderful. The plot has twists and turns through out.
The only thing I did not like is that it kept on going back in time and repeating stuff that was already given.
I did love all the Hot🔥chemistry between the main characters in each of the books.

The Blackwings MC Club, their guys are super Hot🔥! They care for their women. They take care of their own.

This boxed set has it all:
Danger, Suspense, Action, Strong Alpha Males, Strong Sassy Women, Sex and Love❤.

Read it for yourself!

great series

I read the two books a while ago before I set up my book reading records 😂, so when I saw the full set I got it. I absolutely love the Blackwings men, this whole series is awesome and I’m so mad at myself for not finishing it sooner. I think shaker will always be my favourite but every book is full of hot alphas, strong women, hot scenes and lots of suspense. If you haven’t already give it a read you won’t be disappointed. X

Loved this series!

This was the first time I've read Teagan and was instantly hooked! This series gave me everything I love in an MC series and in a great book in general. With plenty of hunky, alpha men, angst, adventure and sexiness, you won't be disappointed in this world she has created.

Amazing

From the minute I dived into the world of the Blackwings MC I didn't want it to end and I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. From Dash to Badger I fell in love with each couple and their story. I laughed, cried and couldn't get enough of the men and women of the Blackwings MC.

Better than the first time!

This was a reread for me and I loved it probably more the second time around! I just wish I could find these people in real life.

Each book captivates you and keeps you needing more and more. Now I've got some serious book hangover. Now I'll go on to the other chapter of Blackwings!

This is the first that I read by Teagan Brooks and OMG. I am a huge fan of MC Romance and this did not disappoint. Well written and great characters. I love Carbon and Shaker. They have to be my top favorites. So many emotions in this series. Especially in Phoenix and Carbons books. Wonderful. I cannot wait to read more MC books from this author.

I absolutely loved the complete series of course Annabelle and Phoenix were my absolute favorite couple. I wasn’t too comfortable with one of the characters with the age difference and the rushed romance but other than that there was lots of action hot scenes. Of course and sexy bikers what more could you ask for!

Hot, hot, hot

I have been on an MC reading frenzy for the last 4 months and I have just finished reading all of Teagan's books and fell in love with each and everyone of them.

The characters are people with depth and flaws and the alpha men are sublime and their women can hold their own.

I love, love love Teagan's writing.

Beautiful

Ms Brooks has a way with words that keeps you enthralled. I think I devoured this collection in an unhealthy amount of time. Since I’d read her second series before this, I’m having a serious book hangover already. She needs to write faster because I’m fiending already!

Okay

Okay set of books but struggled with trying to find my feet with the first two. I pushed on because certain characters interested me and I was curious however only one of the stories really pulled me in fully. Was okay but just okay.
