She just has to fake it once… Then I’ll have her begging me to make it real.
I’ve never had a girl fake it before… but now that’s all I need. Just one fake… you know, to help close a business deal.
My new business partner from Monaco is a little too… friendly, and I don’t mix business and pleasure. That’s where my new tasty little assistant Paige comes in.
She just has to fake it, pretend to be my girl, and I can seal this deal. Fool them once then move on. Paige gets paid, I get this new hotel, we all win. Totally simple, right?
Except when I see her fake it, I know I have to taste the real thing. The way her eyes lock on mine, the way she grips the bathroom sink, her whole body shaking, I swear…
I don’t care if it might sink decades of work… I’m taking her for real.
It’s time for another hot one! Fake It For Daddy is a steamy billionaire older man / younger woman romance with some Sugar Daddy themes. If you like over the top crazy characters, lots of sizzle, and a guaranteed HEA, this one’s for you.
Goodness, that was a lot of sexual tension! Seriously I was drowning in it and I loved every minute of it! I really enjoyed this one and was so upset when I had to take time from reading it. Paige and Leon were HOT and I loved them together.
If you like reading about fake and office relationships, then this book is one you should pick up. I’m so glad this is a series because I need more of these books in my life.
Well this was a tasty book, I devoured it in one helping. Super steamy early on and loved it. The only thing I wasnt sure on was 'little Paige' but hey that's just me. I hope you all enjoy this as much as I did.
4.5 stars!! not sure if i had gotten myself into some spanking spree or something (not that im complaining) but i think i gotta take a break from all these spankings 🙂 i absolutely love this book! its pretty short and fast paced but was hooked into the story since page 1. Leon and little Paige's relationship started off as a fake one but eventually became something real. its super hot 🔥and very straightforward.
I honestly didn't know what I was expecting. This is the first ~daddy~ romance that actually intrigued me...I mean, have you read the synopsis? I knew I had to give it a try. In a way, I'm kind of glad I read this book because I know for sure now that this kind of kink is definitely not for me lol. This is a case of "it's me, not you," so please take this review with a grain of salt.
This would have gotten a higher rating, but I wasn't a fan of the hero. He's an asshole who overworks the heroine and orders her to skip her lunch, giving her impossible tasks to complete in a tight deadline. I was triggered by this, to be honest. For some weird reason, the heroine loves building her anger and snapping at him when he overworks her. They have such a weird...thing...going on and to be honest, working overtime for crazy bosses who think they own you is just not sexy to me. No matter how hot the hero is and no matter how much he's paying her. Mix this with the whole daddy kink and I quickly realized that this type of romance is just not for me.
The writing is fine, but also weird and repetitive at times. Like I said, I quickly realized that the kink isn't for me, so I basically skim read the sexy times. But I really enjoyed the business aspect of the storyline and the power play between the hero and members of the Monegasque royal family. That was my favourite part of the book.
Anyway, like I said, take this review with a grain of salt and don't let me rain on your parade if you love these kinds of books! If you love reading about this kink, then I know you'll love this book!
The “Daddy” thing threw me. I know, the title. It just was so prevalent that it threw me. Lots of steamy bedroom scenes. Little building of the relationship. A happy ending. Just a strange book for me.
I wanted to start 2020 off right, so I read a book in one sitting ... which was easy to do considering I couldn't put this book down! Now before we go any further please read ... I'm not a "Daddy" fan in the romance world. I just can't get into it, not sure why, cause even some of my favorite authors have daddy series but it's just not my thing. Faking It For Daddy by B.B. Hamel however is definitely a book I could read, even with the "daddy" talk. The "daddy" wording in this book is totally fine, it's subtle, not in your face, every other word, etc which was so enjoyable cause I instantly fell in love with the characters. Leon is your typical hot A F asshole boss that you secretly want to take into the copy room. Paige is his assistant but I LOVED that she was a strong, smart, independent woman ... definitely not a push over.
Paige has just about had it with her boss Leon but she needs the job and knowing she's getting paid a pretty dollar is what makes her stay. She keeps thinking that just a little longer and she can tell him where to go, but then, as she's gathering herself in the bathroom, there's a knock at the door, it's Leon, he's asking her to fake it for $10,000. That means Paige could possibly quit sooner, so she fakes it, and Leon writes her the check. Soon enough the faking act needs to go on a little longer while Leon is working out a business deal. Leon may be working on the biggest deal of his career but he's also realizing his "little Paige" is better than any business deal he could dream of ...
The story flowed so well with hot steamy sex, flirting, typical asshole boss scenes, and secondary characters that weren't annoying to read about. (I truly hate when secondary characters are just filler, yah know?) One of my "go-to" book boyfriends is Nick Bateman, I know he's overused but that's immediately who I pictured Leon being. Paige I saw her as Anya Chalotra, which could be cause I've just immersed myself in The Witcher over Christmas but she's got that dark hair, doe-eyed look & I could see her going toe-to-toe with Leon.
I saw this book on Kindle Unlimited and thought I'd go for it. Age gap romances are my favorite and this one fit the bill. I saw some bad reviews but decided to go for it anyway, and I'm glad I did. I found the book really enjoyable. It's really short so it doesn't have all the character or relationship building that you might find with a longer book. Even with that, for what it was, it was a fun, short read. I'm probably going to use the word "fun" way too many times in this review. I'm sorry, but I also won't stop. It's just the perfect word to describe the book. I enjoyed the dialogue between the characters. I thought their banter was great. It has a nice HEA. This is the type of book that's perfect for when you want your brain to shut off and not think about anything depressing. It's lighthearted and easy. At the end of the book, I will say when the main character Paige commented that her plans were to do nothing the same as every other day, I did have a moment of "wow, must be nice," followed by a "that must be really boring and unfulfilling to do nothing." Honestly, I was just bitter and there's a small part of me that wishes I could just sail off to some place with a hot, rich man to take care of me. But I digress. It's a fun, easy read. Take it for what it is, it's not meant to be literature.
While trying to conclude a business deal Leon is put in an awkward position where he needs to lean on his assistant Paige. After seeing her sneak away, he follows her and propositions her. $10,000 for her to fake an orgasm and trick the clients into thinking they're sleeping together. That money could change her life, her future, how could she say no. After being in the most erotic fake sexual experience of their life, things stir between Leon and Paige as they keep us this ruse for the clients they're so desperately trying to win over. On their trip to Monaco to handle business, things boil over and take a turn for the worst.
"It isn't what we have or where we are. It's who we are, what we make each other feel."
Oh holy hotness! I couldn’t put it down! Leon and Paige were incredible once they really got together! First of all I loved the awkwardness in the beginning of the book. And so much tension! The sex scrams were incredible! I wish I would have gotten to know Leon and Paige better, it was all about the job and sexual tension but I can live with that! Paige is very Feisty and her explosive tantrums are pretty funny. I liked how she didn’t hold back from telling his he was being an asshole. And unlike most books he didn’t get super pissed about it. I loved being along for the ride with the rollercoaster of mixed emotions those two had going on!

Ok so I know the title says fake it for daddy but ... he actually really wanted her to call him daddy during sex .... and he called her little Paige ... that was kinda weird for me ... beyond that there was a lot of sexy scenes ... lots . And lots of sexual tension. Not a lot of depth of character really and not a great deal of depth to the story either ... and Leon was kinda awkward to me .. he liked to be dominant and he liked it when Paige obeyed .. I liked it enough to read until the end but it was all a bit much for my taste I think .
Paige is a personal assistant to Leon, a wealthy CEO, who is demanding, rude and unkind. While at a business dinner at his home he approaches her in the bathroom with a crazy request. Will she fake an orgasm for him. He'll pay her $10,000 on the spot to give the performance immediately. How she handles this situation, why he's asking and the unique dilemma are just the beginning of some really great sizzling scenes, a very sensual story and lots of fascinating moments. This was an unexpected journey.
3⭐️ Spicy, quick read about an office romance! Paige desperately wants to quite her job, but it suddenly gets interesting when her boss barges in on her in the bathroom at an office dinner deal, needing her to fake an orgasm and he’s willing to pay. There was a lot of spicy going on and right off the bat 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 Leon likes to talk a lot of dirty and dominate. This didn’t feel like a big romance to me- more that they realized they were getting feelings for each other and that it worked out vs love.
Worth the read?: YES Reread?: NO
Read if you like: -fake dating -boss romance -billionaire -dom/sub -age gap
Overall it’s an okay book and a quick read. The development of their relationship is lacking because the book is focused too much on the physical. Towards the end you kind of get that character development that’s needed. The sexy times are super steamy, but the hero is such an alpha-hole. The heroine has a tendency to be immature, and it seems like a May-December romance, but we’re never given actual ages. The relationship starts off fake, but as you guessed it, it’s full on HEA.
It's not great to be honest. I don't know what I was expecting ... it was on my kindle unlimited and I figured I would give it a shot. They get right into it in the book, wasting no time with character set up or relationships. I found it repetitive and basic. It's a good read if you are looking for basically a long penthouse article. It took me under 2 hours to finish the entire thing. I just want more from these novels then this one could give.
Characters = 4/5 Plot = 4/5 Romance = 4/5 Mystery = 1/5 Action = 2/5 Darkness = 0/5 Humor = 0/5 Stars = 4 ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ Would I recommend this book = Yes Would I read future books by this author = Yes
So hot and sexy! I really enjoyed this novella. The plot was fun and the characters were great. I'm also a sucker for daddy themes. So taboo but hot if done correctly and this one was great!
I was recommended Fake it For Daddy by B.B. Hamel on bookstagram from a mainly romance account. I don't know if it was because this gave me super high expectations but I ended up finding this romance merely passable. It wasn't anything epic to me and I was just left feeling a little deflated as my hopes for it evaporated.
It's a good book, don't get me wrong, I just don't think it's a must-read, heartstopping one.
This is not a romance story this is about younger woman having sex with her older boss. This story is nothing but sex and business. It’s condescending and all your read is all her calling him daddy and him calling her my little Paige. You don’t get a sense of who they really are because it’s sex non stop.
The sex scenes were hot (although one of them was very inaccurate and would've caused a lot of pain for Paige). Otherwise the book was awful. It was super cringy, the plot and characters lacked depth, and it was quite repetitive. It reads like the first draft of a 13 year olds first novel, very amateurish.
This was a fantastic read. The sexual tension was off the charts. It was so hard to put this down when I had to go to work the characters held you in a state where you really needed to find out what happens. Excellent work, another love of the words. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.
I liked this book. The storyline was cliche, but interesting and held my attention. The pacing didn’t drag and ended pretty much when it needed to.
The only thing I would have liked more of would be actual talks between the two main characters instead of just sexual chemistry. I honestly don’t think they had one real conversation in this entire book.
Honestly, this is more of a 2.5 but I'm being generous because I knew what it was going in and it was what I wanted. I wanted quick, dirty, nothing serious. This gives you that. As with most short romances, it's got flat characters, flimsy plot, but decent sex. I wanted something light and easy to consume and discard and that's what this was.
This is one of B.B. Hamel's best books ever. It is sweet and then comes the Heat! Boy, is there heat! I love the chemistry between the two main characters and the way they work together in the story. This is a must read.
If you are looking for a DADDY book this might not be EVERYTHING you are looking for, but it comes close. It is HOT AS HELL, but I see it as more of a Boss/Secretary, Dom/Sub book where when the sex is the hottest he likes to be called “Daddy”.
Good story, excellent smut, honestly loved it. Only reason it got 4 stars instead of 5 is because I get really peeved when books act like anal sex and deepthroating is something you can just do the first time. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.
What can I say that I haven’t said already when I have read a B.B Hamel book!?!? I mean the books are always so great and the characters are always so awesome even when you want to hate them you still love them.
Fake It For Daddy is book one in the series Sugar Daddy by B. B. Hamel. Holy heck this one is intense- intriguing- erotic!!! You’ll love this tale it’s wild and captivating. Enjoy!!
I voluntaily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
If you have a daddy kink then this book will hit the spot!! Hot Hot Hot!!! It's hard for me to find books that really do it for me with my daddy kink most books either don't do enough or do to much. This book was honestly perfect!!!
