Ex I Don't Want to Be
I Don’t Want to be your Ex... are the last words Sasha Kane thought as her long-time boyfriend gave her the same old tired speech about them being two different people inhabiting the same world. After hearing the same thing over and over, she decides she will never be labeled an ex if it’s the last thing she does. At that moment, she decides intimacy would do her just fine as opposed to a fairytale love.
A chance encounter happens while she is on her way to purchase the art studio of her dreams. The minute she runs into the know it all she loves to hate, Amal Benjamin, things pivot. Amal and Sasha are from different worlds, but both have something to prove. Amal has been known as the guy who gets everything he wants while she's had to fight and work for everything in life. When she finds out that not only is the statement true about him getting everything he wants, but that he has eyes set on more than just her studio, the fight begins.
Will Sasha give up the idea of not allowing someone else to make her their past, and find something's never noticed in Amal? Or will this be the time she puts her foot down and fights for a studio she feels is rightfully hers?

Sasha & Amal
This couple had a crazy road to getting together. These two went to the same middle & high school….Amal comes from a privileged background and has secretly always had a crush on Sasha….Sasha is more of a care free hippy type….and secretly thought Amal was fine…but, the two stayed at it…fast forward one month post Amal graduating from Howard University and trying to decide his future….Ironically, he and Sasha come together to brighten both of their futures. This was a cute story

Great Job
First off the Dad had me hot. This was a good read and definitely one for the books. Amal was doing his best and I could appreciate his effort when it came to Sasha. She worked my nerves but overall I enjoyed her sassy and unique style. Great Job!

This was an okay read. I really wasn’t blown away by the story or the story telling. Everything just came off as a bit dull.

This should be your next read!
Ex I Don’t Want to Be is an enemies to lovers story by Iesha Bree. Sasha Kane is an artist/painter and Amal Benjamin is a college graduate that comes from money, they didn’t have the best relationship in high school because they were too busy arguing. When they meet again years later they pick up where they left off but behind their arguing is heat and chemistry. Amal buys the coffee shop Sasha has been saving for, Sasha is not pleased but things happen 🤷🏽♀️ What? You may ask, you’ll just have to read and find out yourself! This is a great story, the characters were well written! Amal is a sweetheart, I’m glad he didn’t let his parents stop him from following his own path! The ending got me ☺️☺️☺️ and the sneak peak of The Love Pledge 🍾 🍾 🍾

Yasss
First time reading from this author and loved it! I found myself calling her Ms Sasha Fierce! I loved her feisty personality. I’m so glad Beth talked her into not getting a next shop. Good things always come to those who wait! Seeing how her and Amal were always at each other’s throats, I was like yep they got the hots for each other and it would only be a matter of time before they got it together. Amal’s parents got on my last nerves with their bougie butts, but I’m so glad Sasha told them off. Who wouldn’t want to see their child live out their dreams even if it was different from their vision?! Loved it

This book is a gem. So many hidden topics to learn from. Like following your dreams, creating your own path, not giving up during the struggle, learning who really supports you, etc. Sasha and Amal proved that there’s light at the end of the tunnel and that every journey isn’t easy, but it’s worth it.
Now that daddy, I could’ve given him a few choice words lol and I loved Kareem, he’s the friend that everyone needs that always speaks the truth.
It had the right amounts of humor, drama, and most importantly love.

Iesha Bree does not disappoint. Everyone of her books have grabbed me and did not let go until the end. This was a cute hate love relationship between Sasha and Amal, it was straight to the point and I enjoyed every word of it. I love how opposites attract and how everything happens for a reason. I look forward to her next project.

Aaron wasn't the man for Sasha. Even though her and Amal started off rough I'm glad they figured things out. Great job as always.

I love these characters
This was a quirky story about classmates who met several years later. Amal and Sasha old classmates who happened to meet up by happenstance. That attraction that was always between them leads to something much more. It's really interesting to see how these to end up.

What a great story
I really loved this book, it was a story about two people who fell in love with each other even when she didn’t like him, because in school he was so Boujee acting. But working together on a project she realized that he had changed in he real was a good guy. If you have not read this book you should, it is a great book

This book was everything and it held my attention from the very first page. I love the bond between Sasha and Amal it was like they was made for each other. Amal parents were something else. The ending was perfect.
