I admit it, the Bermuda Triangle has intrigued me since I first heard about, I even did a report on it in school…but NEVER could I have dreamed up a tale as fascinating as Karim Soliman!

BERMUDA is part science fiction, part suspense and 100% entertainment, because-what if?-why not?-and of course, the phrase: Government Cover-up!

When a team is sent into the triangle to investigate another horrendous plane crash, this is the chance of a lifetime for Pentagon investigator Heather and her team of experts. What would they find? Would they even survive or have they purchased a one way ticket to the most mysterious location on the planet?

Karim Soliman takes the “aliens-in-hiding” theory and creates a tale of rapid-fire intrigue and action as one group of humans fight for their lives against aliens trapped in the triangle, as well as another group from another “earthly mystery.” Will the humans be caught in the crossfire? How will they escape the clutches of the Triangle? Are there aliens among them, or worse, in high government offices?

From start to finish, I was hooked as this dizzyingly fast-paced story whipped out each layer and every twist, page after page. I felt like I was caught up in the vortex of a reader’s best fantasy and am still feeling the after effects! Highly recommended for science fiction lovers or just readers of good tales!

I received a complimentary ARC edition from Karim Soliman!

4.9 Stars Great Start for a Science Fiction Series

What a fantastic new twist on the mythical idea of The Bermuda Triangle and Atlantis.

This is a fast paced thriller that keeps you guessing till the end. The ending was a surprise. I knew this was the start of the series but the twist at the end left me with even more questions I wanted answers to.

My only complaint, which is more a reflection on me than the author, was the language of the dialogue at times was definitely not “American” English phrases. I hope that other readers will not get bothered by that and stop reading. The plot and character development has the making of a fantastic Science Fiction series.

I don’t like giving spoilers but if you are a fan of A.G. Riddle and the like then take a trip to Bermuda!

I received this book free from Mr. Soliman. I was asked if I would give a review on it. I don't normally do reviews but he asked rather politely if I wouldn't mind doing so. Well Mr. Soliman....thank you for a great read!

I'm not going to throw any spoilers in here, except to say the title gives away what the story is about. But that is all it does. The story is a grabber from page 1. It is a fast paced, page turner. It is a wild sci-fi ride into the heart of the Bermuda Triangle. The author has taken a predictable story, added some unpredictable twists, and turned it on its ear!

The character build could be a tad bit more in depth but in my opinion, the ride the story takes the reader on, offsets the characters.

I will be looking forwardto reading this author's other books.

Thanks again for allowing me to read your book and then to review it, Mr. Soliman.

I found this on a lookout for other books from author friend Karim and the description intrigued me. This book was a very nice start to the sci-fi adventure trilogy happening on Earth in the mystical Bermuda Triangle.
Action-packed, unknown forces, unexpected heroes and a tight-knit crew exploring the mystery, making it a fun read.

I recieved a free copy of Bermuda in return for an honest review, so here goes my honest review. Please don't hold it against me.

***There are spoilers in this review***

I really really wanted to like this book more than I did. I mean come on, it's the Bermuda Triangle, one of the biggest mysteries on the planet and the concept got the Agent Mulder in me grinning like a kid in a sweet shop, but somehow it fell flat. Now I'm not saying it's a bad book, it's not, so hear me out.

The book is very fast paced, and starts so well with enough intrigue that you're instantly hooked and always asking 'why?' However, I found that it quickly slipped from there with characters that initially seemed promising slipping into 2D boringness and the dialog feeling forced and unnatural. It picked up when aliens turned up, Mulder jumping to the forefront of my mind screaming 'YES!' evenmore so when Atlantis was announced and I my interst spiked again. But, it was about this point where the plot started to lose me, the fast pace of the story becoming a little too much to follow at such speed. By then end of it I was unnatached to the characters and their erratic behaviour that seemed out of character from what had already been established.

Overall, I feel that story needed to be slowed down and the characters and story a little more time to develop so that you get a sense of who they are and they may seem a little less flat. I did finish it though and I did enjoy it, I'm just not so sure I would go back and read it again.

I received a copy of Bermuda in exchange for an honest review, which I shall now give!
3.5⭐️When I was a kid I had a huge fascination with the Bermuda Triangle and loved thinking of theories that explained what was going on there. Then I grew up. This book reminded me of that fascination. It’s a fast-paced sci-fi novel with aliens, disappearing planes, government conspiracies, you know, all that good stuff! I definitely didn’t see the ending coming. A couple little critiques and why I give it 3.5 stars...some of the characters just weren’t very relatable, mostly because we know very little about them. Secondly, this book could do with another edit. The sentence structure in particular could use some rearranging. But having said that, this was still a fast, fun read that kept me guessing til the end!

Bermuda Triangle from a different point of view. We’ve all heard about it and some of us have always been intrigued by it. Karim has given us one helluva story that will definitely make you think. Secnav sends a team to the Bermuda Triangle for answers after a horrendous airplane crash. With a outstanding cast of characters, non stop dialog with plenty of fun and action and a terrifically written plot makes this one book you will really have a hard time putting down. Highly recommend it.

Karim Soliman wrote in his author's note that the Devil's Triangle had captured his imagination as a kid and never let up. "Bermuda" emerged as the result of that obsession and chronicles the investigation of a team of government-recruited specialists to uncover the latest mystery. A passenger jet crashes with no survivors. Minutes earlier the pilots had mentioned another aircraft heading straight for them in their flight path. But it wasn't on any logs. There was no record. The aircraft in their trajectory had disappeared decades before. The tale begins as a standard thriller, an adventure into the region known to swallow travelers and leave no trace. A team is formed. At its lead is a woman who suffered loss and is somewhat difficult to get along with. She seeks out an expert in the phenomena, but he's believed to be a crackpot, under arrest and not allowed to communicate. Up until this point, I had no idea where the plot would head. I had an idea. But my assumptions were wrong. Soliman started steady, unreeling his narrative at an even pace. Then he added some fuel. He kept it up, too, and my interest increased. His ideas appear to have percolated for some time and kept me reading. Initially, I'd been somewhat critical of the prose. The version I read still needed a solid edit to clean up some of the clunky phrasing and streamline some of the dialogue. But then, when he unleashed his imagination, I didn't care. I do think the second two thirds is written a lot tighter. And this I appreciated, and it made me designate the novel a five star. Soliman really fleshed out his characters in the later chapters and made me care about them. I'm envisioning a sequel.

In an exciting scify thriller “Bermuda” Karim Soliman takes the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle to an intense, spinetingling level after a puzzling plane crash when Heather, her Pentagon team and rogue assistant geology professor Jeff Burke are tasked with investigating the strange disappearances in the Devil’s Triangle. Breaking through the barrier in the HG-3 only to face an EMT storm, Heather and her team find themselves escaping to the lone island of Domus to be confronted by an “ancient threat” and an age-old battle for survival.

Fast-paced the intensity and suspense quickly escalate when Heather and her team are faced with a mysterious island, writings in ancient Egyptian, and strange humanoids speaking an archaic language. The action never slows with storms and hi-tech battles, nor does the intrigue and mystery diminish as Heather and Jeff unravel secrets hidden from humanity for decades. Twisting and turning the plot all too quickly progresses to an exciting cliff-hanger that promises (I hope) a sequel.

Among a host of compelling main characters is Heather, a scientist working for the Secretary of the Navy who is smart, capable and resourceful, taking a leap of faith when she rescues Jeff Burke from his prison. An assistant professor who escaped the confines of the Triangle once before Jeff is a patient, persistent genius who adds sparks of witty humor to the story. Yet it’s the deception and heartlessness of mind reader Akmenios and the strangeness of the inscrutable Shomrunk that add a dark chill to the adventure.

I thoroughly enjoyed “Bermuda”, and look forward to reading more by Karim Soliman in future.

Absolutely brilliant!

From the second I opened this book on my kindle, I have wanted to read more of it. Unfortunately, that has been difficult with life getting in the way, but I got through it in the end. Karim's writing style is one that I enjoyed, always keeping me with questions answered, while making new ones pop into my head.

The way he dropped hints as to what was in the Triangle, before revealing what it was, and who inhabited it was wonderful, the subtle lies that were told in ways that could only be believed, before showing the true nature of the greys. This all with the looming threat of a second race wanting to take over by sending a signal to it's brethren. This second form of life was a wonderful twist; real but only in a host.

I received a copy from Mr. Soliman for free, thank you.

I enjoyed Bermuda very much. It has everything I enjoy in sci-fi books, adventure, excitement and science which is explained in a way even a layman can understand.

It is not easy to speak about this book without giving too much away. The book tells a story of what could be the mystery behind the Bermuda Triangle. A science team working for the Pentagon goes on a mission to find out what had happened to a plane that went missing there. But what they find there exceeds their wildest dreams.

And it sure exceeded mine as I didn’t see it coming.

I can’t wait for the sequel, I hope there’ll be one.

What a concept. The Bermuda Triangle has always been a fascinating subject, full of mystery and sadness. Karim Soliman has taken the unknown and made it into a beautiful storyline. In a way it was not so far fetched as one might think seeing as we really do not know what is going on in the triangle. Really what if this storyline was true what if there are things we don’t understand out on that small space in the Atlantic Ocean. Curl in your favourite reading spot, grab a cuppa of your favourite beverage, and lose yourself in the Bermuda Triangle. Highly recommend.

Really amazing book of its kind. The Bermuda triangle was always mystery for mankind. In this book i could see what it could be like if we went to expedition there. Who will we encounter there? This is the biggest question we may ask. Also Great book for A. G. Riddle fans. I found a few similarities with his books there. Especially it was refferal to lost Atlantis. But in this book author took look at if from different angle. I recommend reading this book.

Wow, that was a little bit crazy! With this being a book about the Bermuda Triangle, I had certain expectations. I grew up hearing about mysterious disappearances, but this was one crazy, twisty tale. Aliens, warring factions, a super secret island, and other secrets at every bend. The author’s imagination truly astounded me at times. The ending was not what I expected. In fact, I really wasn’t sure what to expect. I had several scenarios thought up, but not that. This one made me rethink of few things.

This reminded me of Greig Beck’s Alex Hunter series. You have a thriller, originating in a scientific/military mission with hints of sci-fi growing throughout. I find this to be fascinating and alluring. If you are a fan of any of the above, this book is definitely a wild ride. I loved every minute of it!

The title and cover intrigued me. Interesting enough plot I guess but half way through the book things got bizarre; not one but 2 alien species, Atlantis and cannibalism...it started to feel like a forced and rushed plot. Especially in the last few chapters. Yes the author probably wanted to leave it on a cliff hanger but it just didn’t end well I thought.

Storyline entertaining but descriptors such as chick and punk (in some cases) and queer do not fit in narrative. Also, editor had some big misses in sentence structure. Scenes at times did not flow...on phone away from area then physically in office without transition statement for change. This book needed a better editor. May read another book by author to see if written better.

I was asked by the author for an honest review in exchange for a free digital copy of his book:

Along with many people in the world, the bizarre happenings within the Bermuda Triangle are a fascinating subject to me. This book has an explanation for those happenings that only a gifted SciFi author could imagine. First off, the cover is awesome. I feel it’s relevant to mention because it’s the part of a book many people first notice and determines whether or not they want to know more. This cover grabbed me and absolutely made me wonder what it was all about. So, kudos to the cover artist.

Although the book has a few minor issues, the story idea, plot and pace of the book are not among them. It is a bit reminiscent of Stargate—both the movie and TV series—and it has all the great SciFi elements: weirdness, mystery, conspiracy, WTF? moments and that all important question all science fiction tales should provoke: Is it over? (Cue Twilight Zone theme music here.)

As for those minor issues (the only reason for 4 stars, rather than 5), I could be wrong, but, while reading, I wondered if the book was originally written in a language other than English then translated into English using an electronic translation program. If this was the case, the book lost some of its authenticity and fluidity in translation. Because of this, the book is a bit stilted and choppy to read due to some grammar issues (word choices and/or odd word order).

As the majority of the characters are from the USA, I feel the book should read as Americans speak and think. An editor who was fluent in American English would help the book gain the smooth fluidity it lacks.

Regardless, the story was strong enough to overcome these minor issues for me, and hold my interest throughout. It is definitely worth the read. If you like SciFi, I recommend giving it a try.

A complex thriller that will keep you on the edge of your chair!

Bermuda is a riveting tale of a scientific investigation into events in the Bermuda Triangle! The very creative and complicated plotline is very compelling and exceeds your wildest imagination! Karim Soliman has written a page turning and edgy explaination for a popular myth(?)!
There is a lot of intrique and improbable events that blur the purpose, creation and mission to a place that can't be located using modern technology and satelite tracking systems!
When the team arrives at their destination, the pace of the book becomes frenetic and the story lurches from one crisis to the next in rapid fire fashion! The events became bewildering to me as the unimaginable twists and hits just keep bombarding the the storyline, and left me puzzling to comprehend the plot!
This science fiction and archaeological plot is exciting, pulsepounding and breathless! The author was relentless in his assault on my cognition leaving no time to absorb and grasp the events! The characters have superficial backstories and I felt disconnected from any emotional investment! I didn't really care about them!
The war being waged by the divergent groups, strained logic so I could rationally understand the origins of the conflicts! The story seemed as mystifying to me at times, as to the figures in the story!
Bermuda, reminded me of a Hollywood action film! Lots of loud gun battles, explosions, car wrecks and bodies but no clear understanding of the "why" to all the excitement, but it was definitely exciting!
Strap in for a wild and mindboggling ride that will capture your imagination and leave you breathlessly turning pages! A very solid effort for a first time author, and I look forward to enjoying more books by Mr Soliman in the future!

A story of the Bermuda Triangle

I was contacted by the author for an honest review of this book, so here goes.
The story line was decent, with a group of Americans making their way successfully into The Bermuda Triangle in search of answers both personal and professional. There they encounter beings like, and unlike, humans.
The constant reminder by Akmenios that he could read Heather's mind was overkill. The "I know you know what I know you know" got really confusing at times, as well as the stories in the dream states.
The battles for the island were exciting. The style of the writing was not. It is obvious the book was written by someone who's first language is not English. The misuse of words, the jumbled sentences, could easily be fixed by a decent editing. I know this is self published, and I give kudos to the author for having the guts to put his work out there. I really wish that he had looked into a proofreader, at least, before releasing this work. The book would have been so much more enjoyable to read.

I received that book for free from the author in exchange for honest review . I bet I mentioned befor I'm not a fan of sci-fi books . But I love all conspiracy theories . Bermuda triangle is my favourite subject . I was very enthusiastic about that book , but ... It's very fast adventure . Everything happens fast , I felt like I was running with the reading . Still was very promising and mysterious . Till the crew landed on the Island . There come aliens , ancient civilasation and in my opinion people with mental diabilities . At some point I've lost the intrest in who is telling what ...or reading somebody's brain . I must say that closer to the end I was expecting someting different . I thought that the whole story was happening in the disturbed brain of Mr. Burke . I don't regret reading it , but I wasn't fully engaged with it . I was waiting for the end. But I'm sure there are people who will enjoy it . Every book is worth reading . Thank you Mr.Soliman .

I received a free copy of this book in return for an honest review, and I did enjoy reading. There were just a few things that let it down.

First, the characters. Heather the protagonist had no backstory and so was really hard to relate to. It was difficult to understand her relationships with the other characters, especially Burke who it seems was meant to be a love interest. All the characters were a little bit flat and had very little description about them.

The other thing was the explanation was lacking of some of the plot. A sense of mystery is obviously often a writing device but this was to an extreme and became annoyingly confusing.

I did love the pace however, and the story. I just felt like he really enjoyed himself and knew his characters and story too well but didn’t quite manage to let his readers get to know them.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book was highly readable and engaging. The plot was intriguing, though it felt a bit cliche in the beginning. In spite of that, the book really picked up steam from there and had some good twists and turns. I really loved Burke as a character with all of his sass and complexity. The rest of the characters were good, but I wasn't as invested in them. The main thing that annoyed me was the ending! Maybe I'm missing something but it felt like everything the main characters had accomplished was for nothing. All in all, I will have to read the second book (assuming there is one) and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fast-paced sci-fi read.

I was asked by Mr. Soliman for an honest review.
~Does not contain spoilers.~

The story began strong but it started to go stale after a quarter of the way through. I also began to get disenchanted by the story.
I had a difficult time reading past the grammatical errors, I think another round of proof reading will help immensely.
The story is FANTASTIC, but the characters are not. I didn't feel an attachment to the characters but I did care to find out where the story goes.
Overall, a wonderful science fiction story, but it needs a little polishing up.

Well Worth the Read

There's only 1 reason I didn't give this book 5 stars, sometimes the grammar makes it difficult to read. That being said, this is a really good story and well worth your time. In a lesser story/book I would have given up because of grammar, but I really wanted to find out what happened. It's a fascinating take on a great mystery.
