Deepest Elements set at a very elite boarding school that has darkened within its wall. Arriving in Radcliffe Heights, Rhode Island, freshman Peony "Poppy" Calloway admired the picturesque small town. But deep in the shadows of the woods near Blue Bell Boarding School, and along its hallowed halls, lurked illicit sex, murder, and harrowing danger. Seduced by Jordan Dashwood, the handsome, blue-eyed, white blonde dangerous Headmaster, Poppy enters a world of love, ecstasy, heartbreak, betrayal, and death.
Warning: This book contains violence of a dark nature, graphic sex, and is only suitable for a mature reading of 18+. If this subject matter offends, I suggest you do not read it.
“Wear your Cerebral Palsy as a badge of courage!” ~Amanda Fino
Amanda is the author of Omerta: Timeless Endings as well as a host of other works of fiction. She is an advocate for people with disabilities and has worked tirelessly to educate others on living with cerebral palsy. She lives in Virginia with her beloved family, two cats and two dogs.
This story is not for weakhearted people, I can say. It is closer to Dark Romance and Dark Thriller. Deepest Elements impressed me with its uniqueness and braveness to show the things of our life as how they are. You won't see here any Clean, HEA Romance or Erotic Romance, Contemporary Romance, no. You will see here the reality of life and how bad and good things happen to people and only their weakness or strength decides would they survive or die tomorrow. Poppy is an innocent girl who lives with her granny and going to the school everyday as all ordinary girls and boys do. She have friends, she is a good pupil...but she never couldn't imagine what things are going in the school she visits every day. And who is Mr. Dashwood - a monster, her kind teacher and supporter, or a good man who will take care about her when she meets him much closer? You have to find out that yourself. I cannot spoil this interesting and amazing book with telling the plot in details, just read it! I am sure you won't disappoint if you like real stories.
Thank you Amanda Fino for ARC copy. I would like to read your new books as well!
A good story but a little strange behaviour of the main heroine. She loves a man who forces women to be prostitutes. 🤔 And in the end she is happy he died. Lol.
I rarely leave negative reviews because if I'm not enjoying a book, I abandon it. I finished this book because it is so short that it took only a little over half an hour to read and I was hoping to find some redemption or something positive in the end. Instead, I found a cliffhanger ending that said there was much more to the story, but to find out what it was the reader would have to wait for a full-length book.
The story is very dark, and everyone in it is evil to some degree. The whole book (short as it was) seemed to be sex and violence for the sake of sex and violence.
I'm sorry I didn't abandon this book after the first page or two, but readers who like sex, violence, and cliffhanger endings will love it.
Wow, this is the first book I’ve ever read by this author and this is brilliant. The plot is interesting but very dark so definitely not for the faint of heart! There is so much that happens in this book and Poppy has a lot to learn and to deal with.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is a very dark short story of a young girl, Poppy, coming of age in a boarding school that is built upon lies, deceit, love, and death. I read and reviewed a copy of this book with no obligation.
