This book and the rest of THE LOFT series are no longer available. A substantially rewritten/re-edited version of this story will be published as CINCHED, the first book in the UNRAVEL ME series, in November 2021.

Escaping her past is hard. Falling in love is even harder...

Teresa Bodnar is desperate for a fresh start. Scarred by her relationship with her cruel, controlling, and so-called "dominant" ex, she escapes to her hometown of Pittsburgh. Determined to move forward, Tera makes a bold move: founding the first club in the city to act as a safe haven where her most secret desires can be fulfilled.

But acting on those desires in the wake of the nightmare she left behind is something else entirely, especially when unexpected romantic entanglements complicate matters of business. Since the moment they met, the chemistry between Tera and easy-going Dominant Eric Yun has been undeniably scorching, yet Tera finds herself denying it at every turn. She has baggage to spare, and the high-strung submissive can't afford to take any chances where her budding friendship with the sweet and dangerously seductive Eric is concerned.

Yet Eric has baggage of his own, and the more he chips away at her walls, the more Tera realizes it's not just the drugging allure of his dominance that calls to her. She's falling for him hard and fast, but if life's taught her anything, it's that the harder the fall, the worse the pain - a pain she'd do anything to save Eric from. But the harder she resists their magnetic attraction, the faster her resistance seems to crumble...

**Note: This is the first book in The Loft Series and ends on a cliffhanger to be resolved in book two.**

**Content Warning: This book deals with issues of anxiety, depression, and healing from past abuse. It contains mentions of emotional/sexual abuse and suicide.**

Siena Noble is a new author for me. While I am not new to this genre, I am new to her. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed the beginning of Tera’s and Eric’s journey. The story opens with Tera getting away from an abusive Millionaire boyfriend, which is what moves the story along and forces her and her friends to move to a different town and start over. When I first picked this up, I thought it was going to be a sweet romance but the added touch of BDSM made this such a fun ride. Eric and Tera have an instant connection at a Halloween party of places. They connect over social media after there first encounter and they both try to tame their attraction. What transpires over the next few months is that Eric and Tera open a life styles club with their friends forcing them to test their attraction. What I liked about them both as a couple is that they both have some baggage. I have read many books in this wheelhouse where the Dom is this perfect man or vies versa that this was refreshing. I found the supporting cast of characters were funny witty and charming and it added so much to the read for me. The chemistry between them is just wow and the fact this ends on a cliffhanger is amazing. Yes, I am the crazy girl who loves cliffhangers in this instance I need to know if Eric will come out of the friend zone fully? Will we meet the ex-again what is next? This was a round about 3 stars read for me and that is only because I don’t read much of Erotica and I haven’t fully found my love for the genre yet. I received a copy of this ebook in exchange for an honest review. These opinions are mine and completely voluntary

Who's Fantasy🐲🌈 Is This Anyway?

She's So NOT Worthy....

Tera💃💋 jumps from one horribly bad relationship💔 with a controlling man, into another one a few months later with a super controller who wants to tie Her up! He's Eric🐺🍆⛲, a handsome young Shibari pro she finds at a BDSM👋👋 Halloween party!

The two have a back and forth sexy BDSM👋 dream🐲🌈 / sleep😴 relationship after only one meeting. Guess they better make it real!.

ARC Received from Booksprout🌱
From my kindle library 📚.
I had read this book in 2017 but never reviewed it.

The people in this book seem like pretty useless hedonists to me. They are just out to have a good time, without really caring about anything or anyone else.
The characters are all young and deeply involved in a BDSM👋👋 lifestyle, which I found very hard to believe. So the book is definitely a fantasy🐲🌈! Adult readers 📚 only.

This was probably a case of it’s not you,it’s me....
Overall feeling was too YA for me,even with the past of both Tera and Eric.
It started good, but i struggled after that.
The back and forth between them was tiring.
Yes,i like him. No,i don’t want a commitment.
Yes,i think about her...a lot. But,no i’m not ready for more.
What is she thinking? How does he feel?
But both don’t go further than a friendship.

I hope it ís someone else’s story,it just isn’t mine.

Blurb:
After freeing herself from her controlling, manipulative, and so-called "dominant" ex-fiancé, 24-year-old Teresa Bodnar returns to her hometown of Pittsburgh to try and put the pieces of her shattered life back together. Stuck in a rut and determined to prove herself capable of moving on with her life, Tera makes a bold move: founding the city's first BDSM club.

But opening a club for business proves to be no small task, especially where unexpected romantic entanglements are concerned. Since first meeting at a kinky costume party, the magnetic attraction between Tera and easy-going Dominant Eric Yun has been undeniable, and yet Tera finds herself denying it at every turn. She knows she has baggage to spare, and the high-strung submissive is taking no chances when it comes to her budding friendship with the sweet and seductive Eric, no matter how tempting he may be.

Eric Yun has baggage of his own. No one knows better than he does how to hide pain behind a joke and smile. He’s spent years learning to take life in stride, and just when he thinks he has it all figured out, Tera Bodnar sweeps into his life with her big dreams, stubborn determination, and soft submissive side. He’s wanted her more than anything since they met, and now it’s impossible to get her out of his head. But he can tell she’s hiding painful secrets of her own, and the more he learns about this beautifully complicated woman, the more he finds himself revealing to her about the Eric behind the smile…

As Eric chips away at her walls, Tera learns that there is much more to this man than his mouth-watering good looks and effortless charm. She’s falling for him hard and fast, but if life has taught her anything, it’s that the harder the fall, the worse the damage, and the risk of Eric becoming a casualty in the process is just too great. But how can she hope to resist him when she can’t even escape him in her dreams?

**Note: This book is the first in a series and ends on a cliffhanger to be resolved in the book two**

I want to thank Siena Noble, author and Goodreads First Reads Giveaway for the eBook Kindle copy of Whip Smart that I won in the Giveaway.

Tera and Eric are young adults that meet after both of them have a difficult break-up with an ex. Both are into kink, with Eric being a gentle Dom and Tera a submissive with lots of issues. Their romance is full of deep emotions as they open up to one another while enjoying each other's company with lots of fun and teasing in a group of friends. As I remember back to that age in my life with the emotional ups and downs this story seems very realistic in many ways. It ends on a high note with a bit of a cliffhanger but not a true one as they both realize how they feel about one another and admit it to each other, with Tera still not ready to fully commit.

NOTE: It is a story with lots of kink, so if you aren't looking for that, try another book.

Tldr: book one is amazing and emotionally powerful though needing edits. Book two was a disappointing follow up and while hero remained amazing the heroine got emotionally manipulative.Book two is largely a repeat of one..I'd have been pissed to have paid money for it
Though I will rate the two books separately this review will encompass books one and two.
I skipped reviewing book one because it ended on a bit of a cliffhanger I was ready to resolve. Then life happened today and delayed my review. I loved book one. I loved this couple. I loved the slow pace of the romance, because when they finally came together it was so fucking powerful my heart literally skipped a beat. I loved the portrayal of bdsm...how beautiful it can be and how horribly it can go wrong. I especially loved that it was openly acknowledged how shitty fifty shades was and how it ruined erotica. The plot was interesting and all the characters were richly developed, even the throw away ones-but without bogging down the story or infringing on the mcs. I even loved the writing style. I did not however love whoever helped edit this book. There were so...many...errors. Little tiny ones that weren't hard to mentally resolve but the sheer number, in both books, was really irritating. That was the only really negative thing I had to say about book one. Book two was a real disappointment though. Book two is a near repeat of book one. Tera's constant push pull got really old and frankly a little bitchy. She kept cutting things off because she was worried about hurting Eric, but then she'd cave let him think things were gonna be ok, then bail again. Eric was an amazing book boyfriend and frankly he deserved better. What actions were understandable in book one became...manipulative seeming due to repetition in book two. It was the same cycle over and over and over. And she repeatedly acknowledges that her actions are hurtful yet she never changes it. Editing issues aside, a lot of book one and book two could've been emerged with that repetition cut out to create one book I would've RAVED about. Instead I'll I'm left so disappointed because of how amazing one was and how disappointing two was. Also book two, though not a cliffhanger, didn't feel finished. There's no real closure on heroine's ex issues and the things that are resolved are wrapped up too neatly to be believable. As a minor issue, the idea of her being able to run a business/non profit while going to school and having a job and looking for a job is so unrealistic. Also this might just be nit picky but though I love pov shifts to see both sides of the story, these shifts were really jarring because hers were in first person and his in third. It wasn't necessarily a big deal and not technically wrong but I never really quite got used to it and found myself wondering why she did it that way
If book three had already been out I probably would've read it a) just to get more of Eric and b) hoping to get some real feeling of hea. But since I don't especially want to read book one a third time and I really couldn't stand the heroine by the end of this one I plan to have forgotten all about this series by the time it's out, which is a shame considering good bdsm erotica is so rare.

One Halloween Party later and you get tied up.......

Whip Smart is the first book I have read by Siena Noble so I was not sure what to expect but the description looked interesting to me and I decided to give it a read. I was very happy that I did as I enjoyed the story of Teresa and Eric. She is on a new journey after leaving a bad relationship with a very cruel fiancee and going back to Pittsburgh where she grew up. Teresa is also a submissive. She meets Eric at a BDSM party. He is a Dom but has more than a few bags he drags with him. However, the two of them are immediately attracted to each other and have some very smoking hot and very steamy times together.
Teresa has an idea to open a Social BDSM club in Pittsburgh as they do not have one. Eric decides to help her with this which brings them closer to each other.

Whip Smart is the first book in a duet and it ends on a cliffhanger, so be warned. The overall writing was good and the characters, both the main and supporting, were well developed and realistic. The story itself was interesting and entertaining and the BDSM scenes are really good. My only complaint is that at times the editing could have been tighter. I think that story was drawn out in certain areas and this caused it to lag and I ended up skimming over certain sections quickly. I am looking forward to reading the second book, Strictly Business, to see what happens between Teresa and Eric.

I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

I won the Kindle version from Goodreads. I have mixed feelings about this book. It started off good and ended good, but everything in between has me frustrated. Tera is moving on after finally getting out of an abusive relationship with her Dom. She meets Eric on Halloween at a play party. She loved the way he used rope to tie her up. Eric loves the way she was so responsive to his touch. However, Eric is also getting over a disastrous relationship. Everytime they are near one another, the electricity between them grows. Tera keeps pushing Eric away because she doesn't feel worthy but she also doesn't want to be in another relationship where she loses sight of herself. She definitely keeps sending Eric mixed signals. When Tera finally comes clean as to what happened to her, she is afraid that Eric will look at her with disgust. Eric thinks that when he tells her about his past, she will think of him as a monster. When neither one of them runs from the other, Tera tries her best to still push him away. Meanwhile, Tera is opening up a BDSM club so people will have a safe place in which to play. It turns out to be a success and Tera finally agrees to let Eric play with her but with conditions. Eric decides he will take whatever he can get. When things up heated between them, Tera has to make a decision as to how she is willing to let Eric be in her life. I'm looking forward to the next book because I want to see how things turn out between Tera and Eric

Wow! Ok so I had never read a book by Siena Noble before this and I can 100% say I will be reading more from her. I loved this book. I wanted more and more every time I was forced to put it down (trust me I never wanted to). I like the amount of lust in this book. To be honest there is hot sex, but it’s not excessive. There is a ton of build up and sexy sexy lust. It is so clever writing because it makes a simple make out session really hot. Eric and Tera have so much spark it is obvious they will combust, which they do.

I really enjoyed meeting their friends and how they interplay together and there is clear direction for continuation of the series. I don’t like spoilers in reviews, so I won’t give anything away but you just know that Tera’s past is going to come back. Eric and Tera both have such tragic pasts that their current actions make sense. They are hesitant and you know why but I have a feeling it’s not going to get easier for them to jump into each other’s arms.

What killed me though was the cliffhanger...ok ok...I know that it is very clear the book contains a cliffhanger (I really appreciated how above and beyond Siena goes to let you know that before you pick it up)....I want more!! The cliffhanger is perfect. The book ends in a place that makes sense logically and rationally. The only reason it kills me is because I want the next book NOW.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This book is about Teresa (Tera) who lefted her dominate boyfriend Kellan Wakeham. She moves to a different apartment with her friends Megan and alexis.Megan takes tera out on Halloween night to the warehouse Pittsburgh’s hottest gay-friendly bar and frequent drag burlesque venue but Every four months, the club opened its doors to the local BDSM community to host the Pittsburgh Bound Party.while sitting at the bar Tera looked around and her eyes caught sight of him.she was drawn to him.Eric gun looked up from what he was doing and he saw Tera too and the connection was there straight away with just the two of them in the room. The chemistry between Tera and Eric is hot.while reading the book you are also introduced to the other characters in the book Megan, alexis,Luke and Aaron which makes you laugh in the book.
Tera decides to open a bdsm club so she went on her “Foreign_FLICKS” site and invite other members to a invite at a bar to explain what the meeting was about and her club.
The sex and BDSM in the book is really hot .You also get a feeling about Tera and eric’s Families in the book also.
It’s a great book one to read leaves on a cliffhanger so you have to read the next book to find out the ending.
Recommend read.

Amount of BDSM/Fetish 3.5 / 5
Story 4 / 5
Overall: 4 / 5

Whip Smart tells the story of Teresa Badnar who has just returned home to the Pittsburg area.  She has left her controlling and abusive ex-boyfriend and now lives with two of her friends.  Tera enjoys being a submissive and knows what she likes sexually but is currently afraid due to her past.  Tera goes out with her friends to a Halloween party and is mesmerized by Eric Yun. He is a dominant man who specializes in rope play.  Tera has always dreamed of being tied up, and the chemistry between them is off the charts!

As the story continues, Tera and Eric become good friends, and they seem to dance around their feelings for each other. Tera is able to be immersed within the lifestyle, but when it comes to Eric, she often shuts him down.  They continue to be in an emotional push and pull match in regards to their feelings. The story does end in a cliffhanger, so we will have to wait until the next book to see what happens.

This is my first time reading this author and it won’t be the last! I loved this story; it’s well written with adorable characters who seem down to earth and realistic. The main characters, Tera and Eric meet at a Halloween party for those in to BDSM. They have immediate amazing chemistry, unfortunately they have both recently come out of toxic relationships and this hinders their trust and faith in themselves as well as others where romance is concerned. However, their initial meeting sets off a whole new direction for our lovely characters. Along with a really great infatuation story there are some twists and turns with lots of surprises. There a re numerous hot steamy scenes, both reality, dreams and daydreams! This is a slow burn romance and ends in a cliffhanger, well worth the read and looking forward to book 2 and many more books if the author continues to write such awesome stories.

This book one of a duet and it is not a standalone read. This book ends on a bit of a cliffhanger and continues in book two. Meet Tera and Eric. Tera is getting out of a abusive relationship with her ex and getting her life back together. She is involved in the BDSM lifestyle and decides to open her own club. She meets Eric at a Halloween Party for like lifestyles and they appear to hit it off. I don't really agree with Tera getting involved in another relationship but she does work Eric. Eric we learn has a past of his own that he hides behind a joke or a smile. Can these two characters get through their pasts together?

I was given a copy by the author in exchange for an honest review.

After Teresa leaves her ex, she meets Eric. Both are dealing with past hurts and wounds and they have a very charged attraction to each other. I loved the complexity of both characters, with all the drama and angst, this one will definitely keep you intrigued and on your toes waiting to see what is going to happen. I loved watching their relationship developing from friends to so much more. I will definitely be looking forward to the next book.

I received this book from a Goodreads giveaway.

I really liked the synopsis of the book, but I found the progress of the story line to be really difficult to get into. It didn't seem like there was a natural progression of events and character discoveries, just a bunch of random encounters tied together.

Everyone in Whip Smart has tons of emotional problems, I get that. But I found it exhausting to keep up with everyone's issues, which seemed like huge emotional hurdles, until a lot of these issues seemed to magically be resolved after a 'eureka' moment towards the end of the book.

There are also a few grammar and spelling mistakes towards the beginning and middle of the book.

This was my time reading a book by this author. I really liked the premise of this story and the book started off great. Tera and Eric seemed down to earth and were both likable characters. Also, the kinky scenes were well written.

However, the book became too slow and drawn out as the story progressed. Tera and Eric were both dealing with lots of baggage and their push and pull relationship started to become tiresome.

In the end I was left with mixed feelings and I’m not sure I will read the second book to see how it all resolves.

Ready for a new life Teresa leaves her abusive ex and returns to her home town and meets Eric. They are both wounded souls with painful pasts. She's a submissive but decides to open a BDSM club. She and Eric have an immediate attraction but there's lots of drama and surprises as they deal with their demons. This was a good read with complex characters. This book is the first in The Loft Series and ends in a cliffhanger. I received an advance copy and voluntarily chose to review it.

There are many enjoyable parts to this story. I loved all the different characters. But this book just went on and on only to end in a cliffhanger - which I absolutely hate. I read romance for an HEA and that is definitely missing here. Tera and Eric have too many hang ups that they can't get over so they can get together. The chemistry is there but the author, for whatever reason, keeps them apart. I don't think I will be continuing this serial.

I enjoyed Eric and Tera’s story, I found it engaging while having a heavy theme of BDSM and terrible previous relationships for both. The characters were strongly portrayed and interesting. Many twists and turns and surprises. But I did feel that certain sections definitely should have been condensed from being too “wordy.” Overall good read.

WOW!

I have never read the authors books & I really enjoyed this book. I also had never read anything about BDSM. I am very interested in t & I think that is why I liked this book so much. Two people in this book are very interested in this life style & one of them wanted to be able to have a place to go besides the bedroom. They put a plan together & get the dream into a reality. Its a good book.

I read books one and two back to back. So I wrote one review for both at same time. I love characters inaction. I love the ending even though it was one continue story. It doesn't feel like a cliffhanger and I am not a fan of cliffhangers. I thought book 2 was very funny. I felt it was believable. I would to read it if you like romance and BDSM.

I truly enjoyed this story although I think it could have been shorter. I loved Eric. Tera not so much. I realize she had a rough time. But I didn't quite understand why she thought she was bad for Eric. At least she doesn't push her girlfriends away. I'm concerned that her wealthy ex hasn't found her if he was so possessive. I can't wait to read the second book!!

I got this book in exchange for a voluntary review. Tera and her friend Megan are into BDSM. They attend a Halloween party given by the Pittsburgh Bound Party. There she meets Eric Yun, a sibari expert. The two are fascinated by each other but both carry too much baggage. Will they ever get together ? Their story will continue in Strictly Business, book 2 of the Loft Series.

I liked this book. The characters were complex and had lots of baggage. The chemistry between Tera and Eric was pretty intense. The character's past played a huge part in the storyline and caused lots of drama and emotional turmoil. I did however find the constant push-pull and back and forth in the relationship to be annoying and I thought quite frustrating. This is my honest, voluntary review.

I found this book to be very good and well-written. It is very steadily paced until the end when it (and they) goes off like a rocket. It does have kind of a cliffhanger ending with an epiphany. The story centers around BDSM so don’t read if that will bother you. They really get into the issues of the main characters very well.
