They call him ‘War’. Growing up without a family to call his own, Xander Cole spent a lot of time on the streets. Time had changed him. Hardened him. But his inner turmoil—the war inside—always raged on, eventually leading him to Satan’s Pride, the Motorcycle Club and band of brothers he came to consider family. They patched him in as War for his loyalty and willingness to fight for the Pride. Life with the MC is everything he’s ever wanted, and the only thing he thinks he’ll ever need—until he meets Maddie Holden, and suddenly, there’s something he needs even more.
Music has been Maddie’s solace for as long as she can remember. After a turbulent upbringing, Maddie left home at seventeen to form the band, The Smoking Guns, with her brother, Paul. But just as their band starts taking off, Maddie suffers a traumatic experience at the hands of a crazed fan, who obsesses over her, stalks her, and ultimately holds her against her will. Maddie retreats from performing in the band. Until one day, Guard, the President of the Satan’s Pride MC, approaches the band with a request. He wants The Smoking Guns to perform for his wedding anniversary, and that includes Maddie.
Guard assigns War as Maddie’s bodyguard, to protect her and keep her safe from a stalker --a job War is ever so eager to manage. With War at her side, Maddie’s confidence, passion for life and provocative side blossoms. Will War find the one thing he needs?

Rabia Tanveer 5 out 5!
War: Satan's Pride Series by AG Kirkham is a gem of a novel that every romance reader will love to explore. Hot and heavy, the novel has two very strong characters who know what they want from life. The pace was fast, the narrative was very well-written and the flow was just amazing. I loved every single moment of it.
**REVIEW BY K.K. Finn gives WAR 5 out of 5
Both emotionally intense and steamy in its romantic content, this mature novel is sure to please fans of the romance genre who are looking for a great balance in content. Author A. G. Kirkman shows a fantastic commitment to the development of the emotional backstory of the characters, making them relatable through the grim experiences of their past and giving both War and Maddie compatible flaws and ways in which they are able to heal and help one another. Overall, War is certain to please readers with its inventive scene arrangements, atmospheric writing and powerful sense of characters: a recommended read.
**REVIEW BY Jamie Michele – 5 out of 5
War by A.G. Kirkham is the second installment in the Satan's Pride series, preceded by the first book, Guard. War reads as a standalone, branching out into the other members of the Satan's Pride Motorcycle Club that the series revolves around. Where the first book introduced the MC president, Guard, and the MC “queen”, Ava, the second takes us for a ride with the 6'3” anti-hero Xander Cole (aka: War) and musician Maddie Holden, leader of the band The Smoking Guns, who War has been enlisted to be her bodyguard.

I know the type of sass, sizzle, and suspense that I like, and War by A.G. Kirkham ticks all of the boxes. War is the perfect, absolutely delicious alpha male to play the titular role, and titillate is exactly what he does. Kirkham uses a steady hand in peeling away the layers and it's refreshing in a genre where patience tends to get lost in the heat and steam of the moment. I think readers will really enjoy this book as much as I look forward to the next to be released in the series.
**REVIEW BY K.J.Simmill – 5 out of 5 stars
Lovely romance, engaging, descriptive, and passionate. A great summer sizzler to lose yourself in.

Review: I couldn’t get into this book. I had issues connecting with the characters and the writing just didn’t vibe with me. DNF-ed at 40%.

Verdict: Not for me, but might be for you!

I'm gonna start by saying I am in love with War, Orion, Guard, and most of all Demon and Risk. All the characters have unique styles and you can tell they each have a story to tell and I cannot wait.

But this cover doesn't do the the book justice at all - it's stunning but it's not strong enough in my opinion.

When I was asked to read this book I hadn't seen the cover and if I'm honest I'm glad as I didn't get off or I would have missed out!

This book is so well written. The story constructed with such thought. It's plot wasn't rushed or slow... It was PERFECT!!!

War and Maddie have a pure connection and watching their relationship evolve was a delight.

The way War deals with her history is heart warming, desire filled and primal all in one and yet her story is soul destroying. Their love connection is HOT 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

This book highlights strength and determination but also how easily it's taken from you!

From page one I was gripped my only niggle is the cover.

So I give this 4.5 stars and recommend you all pop to Amazon and read it and A.G.Kirkham when is the next book due out?

This is a NEW to me author and books. I was given an ARC for an honest review by the author, and I appreciate that.
The blurb is what caught my eye in the beginning.

The story jumps right into, as well as the characters. I kind of understood the back story of it but it was rather quick to jump in.
The story line was great, the hero War is handsome, dark and sexy and the heroine Maddie is VERY SWEET i mean War really takes her in and helps her become.

Beautiful story, and I really appreciate the chance to review this.

War is book 2 of A.G. Kirkham's Satan's Pride series, and my first book by the author.
While it is book 2, I felt I wasn't missing too much information without having read the first book.
This book contains suspense, twist & turns, and all the steam! So much steam. I loved it. And the sexy MC characters? Yum.
Overall I enjoyed this read. I liked the instant-love relationship between Maddie and War. It did feel a bit forced at first but it quickly adjusted to feel natural for them to be together. I liked how they both helped each other grow and heal.
The side characters are enjoyable and the way the Satan's Pride club is a big family made me smile.
I look forward to reading more works by Ms. Kirkham.

If you are into MC romance, you will enjoy this. It's a good story. With some twists, that are going to keep you there, some stearmy moments, a lot of great kisses and good lyrics.
You'll meet, War, this bad boy with a body of Steele and a heart of sugar. What is to like at him? Definitely his alpha side. Always ready to protect what is his. And his kisses. I swear they are stealing a breathe. So hot. So passionate so deep. So consuming. So hot. So... everything. Worth to read it only for his kisses. Lol.
Ok there are other reasons, valid reasons to read this, but I'm stuck on his lips, sorry not sorry.

This is a first read for me by this author. I haven’t read many MC books before but this one was a good one. I liked the story line a lot.

I loved how it starts out with action right away. No waiting to see what the problem is going to be. Yes they get together quickly but I get the reasoning behind it.

I do have to say I loved how their relationship developed over the story. To see how they grew together but also how War helped Maddie get stronger was really sweet.

I do have to say I felt like the ending was kind of rushed a little. But overall I really enjoyed this book. Made me want to read more MC books hehe.

War and Maddie. The biker and the rockstar. These two quickly find unexpected stability and love in one another.
Their romance may happen quickly but that doesn’t make it any less true. For the first time since the incident she is able to open up to someone and tell them the entire story and in her he finds true happiness, a kind of happiness he hasn’t felt since childhood.
I absolutely loved War and Maddie. Their story is fast paced, sweet, full of love, friends, loyalty and moving on. It’s a beautiful journey between two people who weren’t looking, yet still found love in the most unexpected place.

Wow.

I'm loving the character development and enjoyed reading from the perspective of Maddie and War.
Maddie's life is driven with fear since being traumatized by events from her past. Her love for writing and performing music is when you see a glimps of the real her. She's got a magnifying sultry beautiful voice that can pull in even the caged heart of biker War.
War, a sexy ripped alpha male who is sucked in by Maddy after hearing her sing. He shows dominance and patience with maddy through the whole story which showed a softer side to the rugged bad boy biker.
Love can change you.
Can't wait to read Orion and Vi's story

MC Instalove

I love my MC stories!
War is a member of Satan's Pride MC
Maddie is a singer and War is assigned to guard her when her band plays at an anniversary party the MC is having
Maddie had a stalker who took her hostage and she no longer feels safe - War makes her feel safe
Can the MC catch her stalker before he finishes what he started?
My only issue with this book is all the grammatical errors hence the four stars

Loved this 2nd book in the series! War know what he wants when he first lays eyes on Maddie, he knows that she is frightened and that he needs to be supportive and allow her to become the beautiful singing diva that she is.

I read a lot of MC books, it is an addiction really. I saw the cover of War: Satan's Pride and took a chance on it. War can't believe his Prez is begging a band to play for his wife at their anniversary party. His irritation flies out the window when he meets the singer/songwriter for the band, Maddie. Maddie hates performing after a horrible incident with a crazed fan. War gladly takes on the job as bodyguard while she at the party. Maddie feels safe with War from the start. Circumstances force them to pretend to be a couple for an evening and War immediately moves to make it permanent. He understands her fears and doesn't push her for things she isn't ready for. When they get word that her crazed fan is going to make a move to snatch her the club is all in to help. The whole club feels protective of her and wants to do whatever they can to keep her safe. This is the kind of MC books that I really enjoy. War and Maddie are great together and I liked them a lot. The side characters were fun and I enjoyed what they added to the story. I will be watching for more books from A.G. Kirkham.

What a wild ride this book was! This is one of those guilty pleasure reads. It has that thrill factor and a ton of sexy time scenes. I was pulled into the story right from the beginning. I couldn’t put it down! I needed to know what was going to happen. Who needs sleep? The author has created some really great characters and I want to know everyone’s story! I truly enjoyed this book and I look forward to reading more! I give this 4 stars.

over 50 edit mistakes!

Great characters and storyline but the high amount of errors really destroyed the story for me. Misspelled words, so many sentences that are missing a word or two, if she has an editor/proofreader this amount of errors doesn’t help her at all. Author wasn’t interested in knowing about the errors, said her editor would take care of it ☹️. $4 isn’t a high cost but the amount of errors ruined the story, not worth $4!
