Moonlit Magic

Rate this book
She refuses to be drawn in by his seductive charm…

Liz Thorne has suppressed her impulsive nature for the last four years because her one reckless weekend ended in heartache. Now, the dangerous, sexy man who tempts her inner bad girl is back, and he’s trying his damnedest to bring the wild child out to play.

He’s been unable to forget her…

Since the day Rafe Xuereb was recalled for his Witches’ Council duties, he’s lived with regret. Despite his magical skills, he’s been unable to find the one woman who turned his world on its head. Through a twist of fate, Liz lands on his doorstep with his termination papers, and Rafe can’t be more delighted.

A new enemy threatens to destroy them…

An unknown mystical force arises and begins to drain the Thornes of their powers. It has the potential to reduce the all-powerful witches to mere mortals, making them vulnerable to a rival family. Even as Rafe helps Liz, he lives with the fear that the secret he’s hiding could cost the woman he loves everything.

T.M. Cromer is a multi-award-winning sorceress of the written word and fearless architect of high-stakes paranormal romance. With a flair for twisty plots, slow burns, and swaggering heroes hot enough to scorch the page, she conjures stories that hook readers and refuse to let go. From her cozy PNW lair, flanked by two Hellhounds and an unholy amount of caffeine ambition, she weaves love, danger, and humor into every page. Whether it’s witches, sirens, or magical assassins, her characters never behave, and neither do her stories.

When she’s not dreaming up new ways to ruin her characters’ lives before crafting their HEA, she’s daydreaming about swimming with orcas or cackling over a particularly clever line of dialogue. Come for the magic, stay for the heartbreak, and maybe fall a little too hard for a man who only exists on the page.

T.M.’s stories are 100% certified organic, author-created content. No artificial intelligence was used in the writing of her books.

Well The emotion was pulled and stretched all threw this book. Chills and hair raising tingles couldn't escape you as you read Rafe and Liz journey. The darkness was coming with unending force, betrayal was felt in so many ways. Could they really have a future, Was they going to have to deal with more losses. ... This is yet another well written amazing magical book that just pulls you in and doesnt want you to miss a word as the journey unfolds with the magic only TM Cromer can bring forth.....

Love And family conquers all

Once again Ms Cromer has captured the essence of love and magic. Liz and Rafe are captivating. The up and down struggles of their relationship often has me close to tears. This family! They stick together and help each other, through good times and bad. I love The Thorne Witches!

Oh there goes her heart

Liz is out of her element when she meets Rafe again, he still holds her heart.
Then someone tries to take down the Thorne line again and it's up to them to do something about it, with a bit of aether help.

Couldn't Put It Down

This is by far the best of the Thorne Witch series. It is the story of Liz Thorne and Rafe. They has one passionate night four years prior but Rafe took off the next morning. The story has lots and lots of twists and turns that has you trying to figure out what is going to happen next. This book will have you at chapter one and you won't be able to put it down until you finish it.

Another fun filled adventure with the Thorne family. Thornes only love once, per legend. While they do find love, they often struggle to fight powers opposing them. Liz and Rafe’s story offers everything readers have come to love about this series.

Liz was left heart broken in Paris when Rafe disappears on their last morning together. This book introduces a new line of characters – Damien an Aether and his daughter Sabrina. We are also introduced to a new evil – Isolde who is a very powerful enemy. Liz needs to help figure out the new evil while she is unraveling Rafe’s secrets. Another great story!

Moonlit Magic features Thorne cousin Liz and Rafe Xuereb. The two had a brief but intense relationship years earlier but Rafe left before they could go any further. Now Liz is afraid to give Rafe a second chance. When someone binds the power of the entire Thorne family they must work together to find a solution. This book introduces the Aether, an all powerful witch. The current Aether is
Damian Dethridge. He and his daughter Sabrina are wonderful characters who will hopefully return in future books. I highly recommend this series and the audiobook version.

Don't miss this book! Whew, what an awesome read. Moonlit Magic by T.M. Cromer has it all. A cast of characters that is spectacular, plenty of drama, humor, action and suspense and a bit of spice, that's what makes this book a phenomenal read...along with a touch of magic. Liz was crushed when Rafe disappeared after their time in Paris. She's not willing to let him back in again. Rafe tried to find Liz after he took care of the business that took him away from her, but was unsuccessful. I loved every page of this book and can't wait for my next book from T.M. Cromer.

I voluntarily read an ARC copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

You definitely need to read this series in order. Rafe and Liz are introduced in an earlier book and now it’s finally their story!

These two have a history and not all of it is pleasant. When Liz and the rest of the Thornes lose their powers, Rafe offers to help. The family works together to find out who is trying to destroy the Thornes.

I have enjoyed this series. I have listened to the audiobooks and I’ve enjoyed the narrator.

OMG!!!

She's done it again ... everytime I read one of the Thorne Witch series I think it can't be better than the last and I'm always wrong. Liz and Rafe's story has been in limbo since the 3rd book in the series ... so glad they finally got their HEA.

Amazing!!!

This story is about Liz Thorne and Rafe Xuereb. This was a storyline I really enjoyed. The Thorne's are drained of their magic and they don't know who is doing it or why. With the rest of the Thorne clan and an old friend of Alisters will they get to the bottom of it before it is to late. The storyline and the characters where absolutely perfect.... Love this series!!!

This author was recommended to me in a Facebook group and I happened to have this book in my TBR pile so even though it is book 9 in the series, I found myself entrenched in the magical Throne family.

A family threatened A missing ring. A blood curse. A love meant to last forever.

Elizabeth “Liz” Thorne is a fierce witch who doesn’t take betrayal lightly. She gave her heart to Raphael “Rafe” Xuereb four years ago, and he walked away. Now he’s back to woo her, but she has moved on. Unfortunately, the family curse says a Thorne only loves once, but she doesn’t trust Rafe to run off again. However, she has much bigger problems. Her entire powerful family of witches and warlocks have lost their magical powers and they are in serious danger.

Rafe is a warlock with a few secrets. Secrets that may jeopardize his mission to win Liz Thorne back, but right now he needs to protect her from whoever has taken her family’s powers away. The more he digs into the source of the problem, the more dread he feels of what’s to come.

Liz and Rafe’s dance of love becomes a back seat when The Aether Damian Dethridge, the keeper of magic, and the balance between good and evil, is called in to help the Thornes. But the source trying to ruin the Thornes may just take The Aether down with them which could put the whole world in danger.

The story between Liz and Rafe has its highs and lows, but their trust grows, and together they can beat anything. Liz is both feisty and kind-hearted. Her need to help Damian’s six-year-old daughter Sabrina is a testament to her goodness, allegiance, and willingness to risk her life to help save the world. Rafe is noble and forthright. More power to him as he slowly wears Liz down. And he does not hesitate to help Liz and her family despite the fact that they may turn on him because of what he’s hiding.

The supporting characters include the large Thorne family who are full of sarcasm and support for Liz and Rafe. In addition, The charming and intimidating Damian (who they call “the boogeyman of the witch community”) and his adorable daughter, Sabrina, are a wonderful addition. The father/daughter connection is very heartwarming and strong with these two.

The story is fast-paced and gripping and I was just a little surprised in finding the source of all the stolen magic and why. I wasn’t as pleased with the ending which seemed so abrupt in order to drop in the epilogue that is the preamble to book 10 of the series.

Overall, I enjoyed the magical mystery tour of the Thornes and their friends and rivals. The characters are enchanting, the love story is captivating, and the suspense is engrossing.

The Aether and Beastie

Rafe and Liz finally reunite, but a Thorne family emergency emerges just as they do… As a result, we meet the Aether and the wee wily Beastie for the first time…

Nothing will ever be the same now that the Aether and the Beastie, the most powerful beings known, come into the story. And who could ever turn up their nose at such an adorable little girl? Certainly not Liz who falls head over heels for her immediately…

But something goes dreadfully wrong and everyone races to save a life… but whose? Will Rafe and Liz find their happily ever after? Just how powerful is Sabrina, aka Beastie?

Cromer drives home the meaning of family and its import when she introduces us to the other side of love in Rafe and his mother’s family… and even the little Beastie’s sobs as she misses her mother.

This is a well rounded, quick paced story that is so worth the read… so go, read…
