The mercenaries of the Tooth and Blade are hungry for new work, but they can scarcely imagine what will be required of them next.

Splitting up to take on two campaigns at once, they head out into the wilds of Ostora once again with bronze blades and some new tactics to see them through. Pelekar and his native guide Perian go north to see what's become of a lumber camp that went silent, while Damicos teams up with a renowned explorer to seek out the lost city of Leitra deep in the interior.

Both campaigns quickly turn bloody, and the two captains are in over their heads before they realize it. There are dark forces stirring in the forest, and the capture of a barbarian prince brings with it far-reaching consequences.

There is a fierce battle coming, and it might cost the blood of every man in the company.
