Ares.
A single, chilling name. The new face of evil.

I received an ARC from the author :)

So… I love this author and I love Cassidy… I do…
I just feel like we are stuck in the same place with the same problems. We have a new crazy man wanting to wipeout mankind. Cassidy and friends still bad a$$e$. The great thing about this series and these books is the author is a fantastic writer and storyteller. So, no matter what you want to keep reading and reading.
Moving along…. This was definitely different than the other stories… a little more on the darker side of things. Showing how far someone will go to get what they want when no one is there to stop them.
The story moved along rather fast. Characters are great as usual. However, I am so not happy about how Cassidy and Chris left things and the ending…. Ugh… but everyone will have their own opinions I am sure :)
The last part of the book had a few nice surprises so I can’t wait to see what happens from here forward.

I was fortunate in getting an ARC Copy for this story.

My heart is breaking for Cassie. Yet again she come before difficult decisions, and yet again people close to her, turn out to be those hurting her the most and selling her out. There is however redemption and it look like that person came through when it matter the most.

The story is fast pace, with elements of horror, suspense, and tragedy with hints of romance.

The end times are upon our heroes, and the questions and uncertainty of what is happening to our friends in Camp Hart and other rebel camps is torture for Cassie. I love how end time prophecies and text of Revelation is worked into this book, making it truly like Armageddon.
The book ends with hope for the future, and I am looking forward in seeing where Ms. Lane will take this next. The writer keep our emotions in a whirlpool. I gave a gasp at the end…I DID NOT see that one coming.

Thank you for yet again another winner. I cannot wait for the next installment. Summer Lane is an author who produce one winner after another, and I truly can say, I never read a book of her that did not outdo the previous one. Great Work, Ms. Lane, and keep it coming.

Wow!

Certainly didn't see this one coming. Book 4 definitely takes a turn down a dark path for Cassidy and the rest of the survivors. And yes it ends on a cliffhanger, but wow what a cliff it is. I can't wait to see where Summer takes us next.

Best one so far

Love all these books. But this one was by far the best. My only complaint? Waiting for next book! Cliff hanger!
