By shorter, I mean some chapters/lessons from "The Economics Book" have been discarded.

I am new to Economics and I wanted a good foundation. While this book provides a coverage of the timeline of Economic thought, I found it to be dry.

The examples are either explained recursively (by using their own definition) or they are explained by using other economic jargon.

At least now I know more about the timeline of Economics and can develop further into more advanced books.

Personally, I like this book, especially as someone who does not have an economic background, I can learn the economic in general. Not only that, each section is also explained in context, such as what the focus is, who the key thinkers are, and even equipped with charts or illustrations to facilitate understanding. For those who want to learn economics in general, this book is right for you. Moreover, the size is small so you can bring it easily everywhere😉

The little book of Economics is an introduction to economics. It explains the basic concepts in economic along with its history. In addition, the books also wrote on the theory, philosophy and crisis that influence the economies of the world. Its start with the basic before moving into various philosophy that influence the economy from trading began to the industrial ages, pre-war period, during war time, post war era and the modern ages. The book also shows how ideologies influence the economy especial how the market works. It also tells how a school of thought changes with situation regarding the economies. Overall, this little book tried to educate reading on the intricacies of economies.

This little book was bought in a book fair that happen to be on a cruise ship. The title seems interesting to read. While the book did cover on economy in its history, philosophy, crisis, critique and all. It feels like it is showing the western site of thinking in economy. While there is part that stimulate the mind such as issue regarding Climate changes. There is no mention of other philosophy on economy that is outside of the West. In the end, The book is a good read but it feel lacking in its content.

I mean it's basically like reading a dictionary, like the book pretty defines every main economic concept and terms and yeah you could learn a thing or two but if you have tried reading a dictionary before you would know that it's not very exciting and this book was no exception.

Definitely the type of book you can judge by it's cover too cause it is 100% a little book of economics physically and uhh internally.
