Shellice & Dink: I'm in His Bed, but He's in My Head
Life hasn’t been easy for Shellice Daugherty. Born to a drug addicted mother, Shellice formed a habit in which she had no control. For a while, things were going well for her, until she was introduced to heroin, which almost claimed her life. But one person was determined to see that she pulled her ex-boyfriend, Darelle, aka Dink. With her permission, Dink had Shellice admitted to a rehab where, in ninety days, she returned home sober and level-headed. However, things had changed drastically during that time.
Prior to Shellice’s situations that caused her to overdose, Dink was what one would consider a stand-up guy. Shellice’s behavior didn’t make it easy for him though. When he noticed a change in her, he realized a relationship with her may not have been what he wanted. He starts dating someone else, unbeknownst to anyone. Now that Shellice is home, he is conflicted on whether he wants to give her another try. Between juggling two females, diving headfirst into his brother’s drug dynasty, and working at his brother’s barbershop, Dink feels like he’s about to lose control. But one person continues to prove her loyalty to him time and time again.
Jamel and Denise had a beautiful baby girl, but since her birth, their relationship has been at a standstill, though Jamel decided to marry her despite the fact. He thought he was doing the right thing by putting a ring on her finger, but he soon realizes that she definitely isn’t the type of woman he wants in his life. One sight of Shellice again and he’s in full-blown pursuit of her. What he thinks is an easy task proves to be difficult for more than one reason.
One of the things Shellice regrets most is how she destroyed her friendship with her best friend, Finesse. Will these two be able to make amends? Who is this new female that is in Dink’s life? Will Jamel’s pursuit of Shellice pay off? And is Denise really the cool, calm, and collected female she was portrayed to be? In this spin-off, nothing is what it seems. Everyone has a motive and is determined to get what they want… by any means.

Wait a minute... Man this book was so good... I could not stop reading.... I never knew what to expect... Definitely kept me on my toes... I kept getting curve balls thrown at me... I mean the twist, turns, secrets and lies... all I can say is Wow... This book just kept building and building then..... ugh a cliffhanger... I am so mad right now because I kept trying to turn the page only to see... To Be Connected... Really... Why did you do me like that... Got me over here hanging of the cliff waiting for more...
I don't know how to fell right now about these characters... I mean one minute I am feeling sorry for them and rooting for them to be happy... The next I am shaking my head and talking smack to them... This book has me so confused about my feelings...
I really want Shellice to be happy... And it was looking like that would finally happen for her.... But then Dink was over here playing games... While Mel was playing with her emotions... And heavy in her heart...
I really thought that Dink was a great man for what he did for Shellice... I thought he really cared for her with the way he was handling her... Only to see him do this...
Mel is over here in his feelings about decisions that he made... He was out here playing games with peoples hearts just for him to end up where he is now... He is the one that chose to marry Denise... But it looks like he really does no know who he married... Now he realizes that he made the wrong choice... But it is to late... Now because he is all emotional... He is bringing drama to the Shellice'a table... Why... She already has enough on her plate and does not need any more...
Dink also got them all in a crazy situation... Because he just could not wait... and he wasn't paying attention to all the signs... But... Just when he thinks he has it all figured out and has it all together.... Boom the bomb is dropped... Now he is all in his feelings... Which I dont know why... He was doing the same thing... The only difference is... He did not know who he was playing with... Now look at what just happened...
OMG... what just happened... Is the person I think is causing all the Chaos really the right person... Or will I get another twist and be all wrong... What just happened to Mel? Is Shellice going to be okay... I know she did not come this far for nothing... Will she get out of this alive... I am so confused... I just don't know what the outcome will be... What about Dink... Where is he going... This is all his fault... What is up with Denise... What is her story and her big secret... And what about Rochelle... Ugh I just can't... Can you please please hurry up a drop part 2...

Woooowwww!!!!
Yoooo Latisha showed out with this spin off. I love me some Shellice. She gotta get a chance to make things right. The things she did was not her. I'm glad to see her coming into her own and the growth she is exhibiting. Now I hate that she is going backwards but that's something she has to get out her system. Dink....he has me a little mad at one point but I understand where he was coming from too. City still wilding with his funny self. Rochelle and Denise need to report to the nearest cliff and jump asap. These twists and turns are wild but this storyline is fire. Cannot wait to read part 2 and see how hard Dink bout to go.

There was never a dull moment in this book, just continuity of this pins and needles feeling like something is about to happen that would just leave your jaw on the floor. Again you have achieved what you were set out to do... have people wondering what the entire ....... just went on here😳😳😳😐😐. So I guess I’m gonna be in someone’s inbox! Fantastic, fire🔥🔥🔥a** read. Dink really had me hot with his treatment of Shells. She had every right to do her. He was such a hypocrite to me there at the end. This next part is about to be so litt! Incredible job

Great Book!!!!
I loved this book. I loved how Shellice was able to bounce back from her addiction with Dink’s help. I’m happy she was able to explain to Finesse what happened and they are back friends. City is throwed off. Rochelle is something else, smh. Can’t wait for part 2!!!!
