These brilliant and excoriating poems summon a world that dances around breakdowns, hospitalisation, ECT, psychiatric medicines and their effects, therapies, relations and relationships. It is a strange, exotic, often surreal, medicinally adjusted world that is both terrifying and fascinating. This is a stunning and vivid delve into the disturbed lives of those who teeter on the edge of all of us.

I saw Olivia reading her work in Cardiff when Things Only Borderlines Know was published and got my copy then. Her poetry takes you into her world and strange as that world might seem, its honesty shines through.
