"It's dark, racy and different"

The headline says it all. You'll either love it or hate it. You certainly won't forget it.

I felt like I walked into the middle of someone’s private joke. I gave up at 19%. The characters were cliches. No development. I knew someone was going to die and started to hope that she would take the rest of the book with her. Don’t waste your time. There is so much good to read out there. Definitely not recommended.

Mistake

I pride myself on always finishing a book that I have started. I wish I hadn't with this one. Just not my taste. Not an uninteresting story line just......too tasteless.

Cli Taurus: An Inspector Ash Mystery

The first few pages confused me, but after the plot went very well and quite apace. Good characters and storyline.

"Easy peasy lemon squeezie."
Not so much erotic as schoolboy smutty, Flu Taurus is a cartoon like romp through the West Country and France in pursuit of a murderer. Rather silly with gratuitous violence and childish sexual innuendo and expletives. Narration by Curt Brennen was good, his plummy voice a little weird and strangely suited to the story.

My thanks to the rights holder of Cli Taurus, who, at my request, freely gifted me with a complimentary copy via Audiobook Boom. Unfortunately, this sort of crude, if sometimes clever, childish comedic smut has never appealed to me even if it is a popular British format.
