Racy, vengeful, black humoured crime mystery thriller. Justice or revenge? Find out why Detective Chief Inspector Ash and his Murder Investigation Team - Chen, Lance & Jane - opt for both when an iconic, American erotic sculptress is found dead in her luxury British hotel suite. From England's beautiful West Country though France's Champagne Region to The Great Barrier Reef the hunt is on, with final pit stops in Monaco, St. Moritz and Geneva. Three retired SAS specialists affectionately known as G, B & H help Ash out. Enjoy.
I felt like I walked into the middle of someone’s private joke. I gave up at 19%. The characters were cliches. No development. I knew someone was going to die and started to hope that she would take the rest of the book with her. Don’t waste your time. There is so much good to read out there. Definitely not recommended.
I pride myself on always finishing a book that I have started. I wish I hadn't with this one. Just not my taste. Not an uninteresting story line just......too tasteless.
( Format : Audiobook ) "Easy peasy lemon squeezie." Not so much erotic as schoolboy smutty, Flu Taurus is a cartoon like romp through the West Country and France in pursuit of a murderer. Rather silly with gratuitous violence and childish sexual innuendo and expletives. Narration by Curt Brennen was good, his plummy voice a little weird and strangely suited to the story.
My thanks to the rights holder of Cli Taurus, who, at my request, freely gifted me with a complimentary copy via Audiobook Boom. Unfortunately, this sort of crude, if sometimes clever, childish comedic smut has never appealed to me even if it is a popular British format.
