Great novel about life and love. Love of family and love of racing.

As a former racer and a family man and now grandfather, this was an excellent depiction of how racing is a way of life and the life lessons it teaches you. I have no doubt that a reader who is a non-racing fan will enjoy this novel as well. The Bathurst 1000 is a legendary event in Australia and I learned much about the event. All readers will be moved by several of the events depicted, most of which are around the edges of the racing involving this family’s story. You will not be disappointed in the story depicted. My highest recommendation. I seldom do reviews and my award of five stars is something I rarely award.

I’m in love with this book!

This book I cannot recommend enough especially for my fellow race fans. The racing scenes were written amazingly. I loved that it involved Supercars and especially given they were Ford people. 😉

I definitely will be getting a physical copy as soon as I can because I will be definitely rereading this book for years to come. It fast became one of my favourites.

The storyline was great as I never knew what would be happening next. I couldn’t put it down!

Legacy Drive -

This was so unrealistic, it was lame. I made it to 38% and had intended to finish it, but I can't. As someone who has spent time in full speed racing, I thought this would be an entertaining read. Not for me. As stated, unrealistic behavior by the protagonist (and most of the other characters in the book) made if impossible for me to finish.

Very well written and kept me engaged throughout each chapter! Car racing is not something I follow but I could not put this book down. The family dynamics and character development were both great! I hope there is a sequel!

I deeply enjoyed this book, I had a hard time putting it down towards the end. You do not need to love Motorsport I order to enjoy this book; however, I would be surprised if you didn’t have an interest once you have finished.

As a Motorsports fan this was a really a great read. The character introduction was great and the story, particularly the end during the race, was great writing. At times it was as if you were there, Bathurst, you could hear the engines and smell the exhaust.
