For as long as fae Bram can remember, he’s been anxiously awaiting the day he reaches his maturity. As a life-giver, it means his Alpha will finally become known to him and he can begin his own family. But when his one true mate doesn’t appear, the devastated omega fears he must be broken.
Nerdy human Darby has been dumped by his boyfriend via email. As if that wasn’t bad enough—his job sucks, his tiny apartment is a hovel and he has no social life. And now he’s hallucinating that the cute twink who shows up in his dreams is in love with him. Clearly, he needs professional help.
When Bram learns that his Alpha is a human, he must cross the veil so they can be together. However, no fae can survive on the earthly plane for long before they die. If Darby doesn’t believe he truly exists, then Bram will have no choice but to leave his fated mate forever.
Convincing a flustered human that fairies are real has never been so annoying—or so dire. Because now, there’s more than one life at stake…
Note: Entwined is a standalone, mpreg romance story featuring a feisty fae omega, confused human Alpha and lots of fluffy feels. You can expect knotting, a dose of angst and a hard won happily-ever-after, complete with a sweet, surprise baby.
Reread March 24, 2020 An omega fae finds his Alpha human ! What a lovely fantasy story of a fae and a human, being fated mates. Bram is a fae, a sweet omega who finds his mate on the other side of the “veil.” Darby, his Alpha, knows nothing of the fairy world, and must decide what to do, of his own free will.
This Mpreg, short tale will make you smile. Wonderful descriptions, great characters and a fun fantasy land.
Dreams do come true for Darby when he is confused about a drunken dream of a fairy lad that introduced himself as the human fated mate of the fairy. After a couple of wonderful visits, Darby is told that he should go to the fairy land as the fairy can not return to him anymore.
After a couple of weeks of worrying and missing his mate, he speaks the words required to cross over. Then it is a new world to learn, but something he really wants.
Can we just talk a minute about this gorgeous cover? This is what initially drew me to the story. I just think it is absolutely beautiful and now it has meaning. 5 stars for that alone! Plus, there's fairies!
Bram is just coming into maturity and he's ready for his alpha. Problem is, he's across the veil and Bram can only visit three times. Darby is a nerdy high school teacher whose boyfriend breaks up with him over email. Then a gorgeous guy is popping into what he thinks is his dreams. Maybe he's losing his mind after all.
This was a quick and easy read and was just one of the sweetest books I've read. It was just precious and I practically grinned the entire time. There's a little bit of angst but overall it's just too sweet for words.
This was sweet, magical and way too short! To be honest, I’m not a big fan of fae stories. Don’t ask me why, I just can’t seem to reconcile most of the artistic license some authors tend to take regarding the fae. But I’m glad I took a chance at this because it’s definitely magical and super adorable. Just wish we had more time in this fantastical world because it truly was beautiful.
This was a super sweet, super quick-moving story where an omega fae discovers that his alpha mate is a human man in our realm. Bram is only given a limited amount of time to have Darby fall in love with him and follow him back to the fairy realm.
First off, the cover for this book is beautiful. And I love the premise. I just wish that this had been a bit longer and took its time to really tell a whole story. There's so much that's just not explained as far as world-building for the fairly realm, and there just wasn't enough backstory for either MC to really make me feel where they were coming from.
Super sweet, and if you have KU, I'd still say get it for a quick, sweet read.
Look, I know this book is not that good. It's got a lot of problems and I am on the record not a fan of this author's contemporary work. But damn I didn't enjoy this for some stupid reason.
There's a lot of descriptions of the land but there's little to no descriptions of the characters so you hardly know what they look like. There's also not a lot of development in a lot of areas such as characters and motivations. This It's definitely one of those novellas that really would have benefited from extra 5k words. It felt very rushed and not as immersive as I would have liked for something so fantastical. And I hate myself for still liking it.
I'm mpreg trash, I acknowledge that. But something about this was still cute and sweet. It's beyond insta Love but when it comes to faded mates, I let that go. I would have liked more discretions and explanation but it's so storybook in it's whimsy that it's still fun. This month isn't great but it wasn't really expecting to be.
I am of sound mind and body and can admit, this isn't great. In fact, if you're not already a fan of mpreg fantasy, I can't imagine why you would pick this up, let alone enjoy it. But I had fun with this. I even found myself smiling that times. I don't know why but I did. 3.5 stars but I'm rounding up because why not. I've been harsh enough to this author in the past.
First off this is a m/m fantasy romance with mpreg; if you don’t read these types then you won’t get this novella. That being said...what the heck was this author tripping on when they wrote this tale?! Ha! So once you get beyond that, this was a different take on the world of the fae and what happens when their fated mate is a human from another “realm” for lack of better word. This is a quick read I borrowed with Kindle unlimited but it’s not one I would recommend buying on its own.
This was such a sweet romance that I had definitely enjoyed. The characters fit together well and the narrative was excellent. The story was adorably heartwarming and I'd like to read more by this author. Totally touched my heart. =)
Mess. Dint like it at all. I found Bram to be way too childish. Like an actual child (having random outbursts of anger and crying for every little silly thing) instead of an actual “mature” adult. For a specie that’s millenias old and actually had a connection to humans in the past, they sure don’t know much about them. Or anything really.
The whole “we have to fuck and you have to impregnate me, leave everything behind, cross the veil permanently or I’ll die” sucked and I dint find the concept romantic at all. I love yous were being thrown way too early as well.
Also at 65%, Bram tells Darcy how he can’t come back anymore (3 times is all he has to cross the veil and he needs to to get pregnant within that time and cross the veil with Darcy or he’ll die. The catch is that he is not supposed to tell Darcy about this or that he’s pregnant or the crossing wont work, the bond will dissolve anyways and he will die. The decision to cross the veil has to come from Darcy 100%, without interference.). He proceeds to tell Darcy ALL OF IT. Everything. Like wtf? Did the author forgot about that little detail or what??

This was a rather disappointing read. The idea seemed fascinating enough- a human with fae blood being alpha to an omega fae. The execution left much to be desired. Darby knew nothing about the fae world so everything he said seemed to upset Bram, which would make him always feel guilty. Bram was clearly little more than a child himself, a dramatic, pouting, whining, crying child. Every little thing would set him off. This was not a man ready to take of children. Then adding in the whole ridiculous timeline restrictions they had what these two really should have done was talk. Telling Darby about what the fae realm was like, what life would be like, how they could be together, would have gone a long way towards helping things. Instead they just got dramatic and didn't say anything of importance while apparently falling in love despite there not feeling to be much connection. It just made it all fall apart.
What a unique book! Enter the wondrous world of fae. Cross through the veil and believe. This is Bram and Darby's story. Bram is fae, who finds out his fated mate is human. Darby is a human, dissatisfied in his job, searching for what he is told isn't real, a fated mate. For them to be together, Darby will have to believe all this is real, and Bram will have to hope love is enough. You will cheer for them. Gasp with them. Hope with them. Yes, there is sex, knotting. There will be a baby. And HEA. Grab this book. Read it. Love it. This book contains adult themes and language, MM sex, and is intended for mature readers only.
Story-wise, the read was uneventful, quite random even... but cute. I liked particularly the way Bran was introduced; the narration was entertaining at first. However, the text was mined with typos, missing words and a chaotic punctuation. It felt botched--it was botched--and the limited length prevented any chance of a development. I will rate it 2 stars despite the typos, the banality of the intrigue and everything else I said above, because I spent a good time reading it--what should be the purpose of every novel-- and I liked the cover.
Sweetness and light. I haven't read fairy tales since my childhood. I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed them. This was certainly more adult centered than the Hand Christian Anderson tales (although those tales had adult morals hidden within them). This sweet story put a happy smile on my face. Makes you wish we could all lives in such a happy, magical, accepting world!
A sweet, short tale of the face, magic and fated mates. Amanda in the human world gets a visit from a magical creature claiming to be his fated mate. But their happily ever after can only happen if he believes.
4.5 Stars. I loved Bram. He was so cheerful and bouncy. I enjoyed the world Wilde created, it sounds like heaven! I love mates and mpreg and fantasy, so I definitely enjoyed this. Unlike some of novella length, it reads complete. Quick, easy, enjoyable read.
This is a short and very sweet omegaverse book and it’s was adorable. A real life fairy tale that will give you the feel goods. I enjoyed it very much. Highly recommended
