Note: This is a prequel to Caught in the Lies. This is a whole series, so probably start from Caught in the Flames first, because that will explain Cam's connection. And Jill's.
Anyway.
I don't really have much to say. This was like an introductory book to characters, Jill and Cam. Cam, you'll know who he is, once you've read CITF (That book is Jill's friend's story...).
So we get to know through this prequel who Jill and Cam are, and how they first met each other. The title is exactly what this story is about. One Hot Night. That's it.
So if you want a short and sexy read (which would also help your reading challenge..) and also you love romantic shorts like this, then this is a good one to try.
So a recommend.

Como precuela esta muy bien, es agil de leer y te deja con ganas de saber mas sobre la pareja protagonista ( y de los personajes secundarios ), no descarto leer el siguiente tomo solo para saber mas de ellos.
En resumen, una historia directa y bien planteada, me gusto especialmente que su relacion no se de de la noche a la mañana, sino que sigue una evolucion realista.

A short and steamy prequel! I can’t wait to read Kacey Shea’s latest firefighter romance. I have a hard time connecting to novellas since they are so short, but I’m so happy to have the backstory to Cam and Jill’s romance!

Jill and Cam's story begins with this short novella, one that is hot and entertaining. Jill is a character I fell in love with, she is strong, stubborn, a great friend, and is struggling between what she wants and what she desires. Definitely will be looking forward to reading the next ones in the series, I have the suspicion that these firefighters will be my damnation. I also liked the audiobook in the English and Spanish versions.

Jill es un personaje del que me enamoré, es fuerte, terca, una gran amiga y está luchando entre lo que quiere y lo que desea. Definitivamente estaré deseando escuchar más libros de la serie, tengo la sospecha de que estos bomberos serán mi perdición. A quick flirty and sexy read, free on Amazon. A prequel to Kacey Shea’s Caught in Lies which I’m going to be listening to next (I can’t wait). Lots of banter between Jill and Cam as they meet at a party (a party full of hot, sexy, egotistical firemen), and hit it off immediately. Both only willing to commit to one night. Funny, sexy and super quick. A wonderful introduction to what I’m hoping will be a captivating full length read.

Buenos días, este libro es lo primero que leo de Kacey Shea, más no será lo último, me encantó mus prosa, su pluma, la forma en que llega al desenlace, lo creíble de la historia. Los sentimientos que ella despierta.
La historia comienza con una joven acompañando a otra a una fiesta donde la primera quiere resaltar ante su nuevo novio para ser vista, por lo amigos de él. Tanto Cam como ella se enfrentan en una pelea verbal, que los pone a mil, pero no era eso lo que ella pretendía, hacerlo quedar en ridículo delante de su grupo de bomberos, o realmente le gustaba su forma tan frontal de combate. La noche sigue, ambos beben por separado pero se juntan y las chispas afloran, sólo una noche es el lema, pero la bebida es mala consejera. Como finalizará este debate entre listillos y titanes, sólo lo sabrás si le lees el libro. Te lo recomiendo!!!

Wow, what a seductive start to Kacey Shea's firefighter romance series! This first encounter between Jill and Cameron was so captivating and sexy. It is a great introduction to these fun and complex characters, making me really care about them quickly. I really enjoyed Savannah Peachwood's narration as she delivered all the emotion, wit, and steam perfectly. Her ability to bring these characters and story to life was amazing. This teaser into this world definitely left me wanting more!

Im typically not one for romance books...but I started reading this right away since it was only 53 pages and the synopsis sounded pretty sexy!
Boy-oh-boy was this steamy! I couldn’t put it down...
This is a firefighter’s romance, although the profession is only mentioned minimally in this book. I believe at least two of the side characters in this short story are main characters in the novel series.
Cam meets Jill at a party amongst close friends and colleagues and what starts as playful banter about sports turns into a battle of sexual tension. “I see his cocky swagger, and raise him one swish of my ponytail.”
To me... there’s nothing sexier than a guy saying “I want you” or “I got you.” Cam is a confident man who likes to be in control and knows exactly what he wants and it’s Jill.
Like Jill, I too am a sucker for dimples and a rough and rugged goateed face. “His kisses are passionate, needy, almost unpracticed as his teeth click against mine.” If you haven’t had a romp like this one ...I suggest you get on it!

Came across this steamy nugget and quite enjoyed it. It’s not insta-love. It’s a hot night brought upon by attraction between a college student and a fireman who have mutual friends.
If there’s anything that’s uncomfortable, it’s the line that Jill crosses unbeknownst to Cam.
And if there’s anything amazing, it’s the flirtation between this coupling. Can’t wait to read their story!

Muestra una mujer firme, dispuesta a todo por sus amigas y en los 5 capítulos que componen esta precuela lo demuestra en varias oportunidades. Además, está Cam, él hombre experto en crear y apagar incendios y es que ¿Cómo no enamorarse de Cameron? Sí todo lo que muestra la historia no es más que un cúmulo de virtudes que lo hacen parece a simple vista el hombre ideal. Y es que cualquier mujer o hombre, quiere un Cam en su vida o en su cama.
Chicos, no se queden sin leer esta historia corta que no va hacer más que dejarlos a la expectativa más. Por que nada es suficiente y hay incendios que una noche no puede apagar completamente.

El libro es muy bueno es una pequeña y erotica historia, donde conocemos un sexy bombero y una loca chica que no quiere una relación, pero este sexy y maduro bombero la hace arder en cada momento que lo tiene enfrente, ella no quiere una relación o nada más que una noche de pasión con ese sexy hombre que la tiene loca e imaginado muchos escenarios con él 🔥🔥🔥 😏, pero Jill decide caer en la tentación aunque sea solo por una noche, pero una noche será suficiente para apagar ese fuego que Can enciende en Jill ?.
El libro está escrito en primera persona por lo cual solo conocemos los pensamientos y lo que Jill espera de todo esto, pero ese hombre ardiente que conocemos nos deja ver que para él es mucho más y una noche definitivamente no será suficiente.
El libro es muy corto, es simplemente una pequeña introducción a esta pareja y como empieza esta aventura, la pluma es muy ágil y ligera así que te permite devorar el libro, es corto pero aún así tiene un poco de todo, como esos momentos divertidos entre los personajes y las escenas eroticas que son muy 🔥, la verdad es que me encanto el libro y definitivamente quiero más.
Este libro es una precuela al segundo libro de la serie (es decir este es un 1.5) pero aunque sale la pareja del uno literalmente se puede leer este sin spoiler ya que solo es un pequeño relato de cómo comienza todo, pero te quedas con ganas de conocerlos, a mi me dejaron con muchas ganas de saber más de ellos, espero que pronto estemos leyendo el libro uno y dos de esta serie.

Mi opinión:
Este libro es una perfecta introducción a los personajes, está precuela nos habla un poco de quiénes son Cam y Jill nuestros protagonistas en esta nueva historia y como se conocen por primera vez, el titulo es exactamente de lo que está historia se trata una noche caliente haciendo llamar al fuego ya que nuestro protagonista masculino es el capitán de Bomberos. La historia comienza con Jill acompañando a su amiga a una fiesta donde conoce a Cam y discuten un poco sobre deportes donde resalta Jill con su fuerte carácter dejando a cam mal frente a su grupo de bomberos, lo que va desencadenando pequeñas peleas a largo de la velada y terminando en una noche de fuego.
Es una novela corta fácil de leer entretenida algo divertida y sexy, si te gusta este tipo de lectura con pequeños retazos de un posible romance es ideal.
-Nota: Para entender un poco más la conexión de Cam deberían leer Caught in the Flames (es la historia de la amiga de Jill… ) pero esa versión aún no está disponible en español.

¡Kacey Shea, vaya manera caliente y sexy de dar inicio! Desde el comienzo me engancho, Jill y Cam son muy divertidos y su química se puede palpar. El sexy bombero y la elocuente mujer son la combinación perfecta para esta historia, el desarrollo de los personajes es bueno y te queda este sentimiento de querer más, Shea pudo transmitir la química de ambos y dar contextos de cada personaje que te dejan en la espera de más. Realmente ansiosa por esta entrega y definitivamente Kacey logró sacarla del estadio.

El problema sucede cuando al día siguiente ella desea más de los que estaba dispuesta a dar y recibir, lo que la lleva a cuestionarse la naciente relación que tiene y el deseo de volver a tener un encuentro con Cam.

Holy smokes.
I don't know if it was the sexy banter or hot and steamy hook-up but my Kindle almost burst into flames with this little prequel. A hot firefighter with a dirty mouth and a feisty little lady with an attitude and LET ME TELL YOU, I cannot wait for these two to meet again.
Get me a glass of water, this girl needs to cool down.
