i love all of candace's writing- from her self help 2 her memoirs 2 her devotionals. of course reading the Bible daily is the goal, but her devotionals are always such a nice refreshing mini study every day. not only do these deliver a full scripture, but several questions 2 meditate on and journal about. this specific devotional is, i feel, good 4 those starting out in their faith walk. i recommended it 2 several friends who have not had the opportunity 2 dig in2 Christianity at all and as some1 who has walked the walk my whole life, i can confidently say that this devotional guide is a nice place 4 people of all stages in their faith walk. it sets a good foundation 4 newbies n offers encouraging reminders 4 the lifers. 10/10!

Consisting of 25 themed daily devotions of Scriptures and reflection questions, this book guides the reader to think about the Scriptures and how they relate to the reader in their daily life. Candace shares her thoughts and how she practices her faith in brief little snippets throughout the guide. Plenty of space to write out your thoughts to the reflection questions. Beautiful --frame-worthy--photos!

Great if you're new to either:

Reading the Bible;
The concept of daily devotions OR
Spiritual/devotional journalling

Or new to all of the above, wanting to dip into Bible study, or just looking to mix it up a bit in your spiritual walk. I like the format - nice photographs, so visually appealing & I enjoy just flicking through the book; Bible verses included in full & a variety of translations are used; space to write your own notes, but thick paper so you could art journal your responses if you wanted. Each day's entry has questions to get you thinking about practical applications of what you've read. Up to you how in-depth/interactive you get!
