A war has been raging.
Russia is the final battleground.
David Rivers will be the first in.

From the city streets of the US to the war-torn deserts of Africa. From the snow-capped mountains of Asia to the narco-controlled jungles of South America, forces have been fighting for control of the ultimate criminal empire.

When an act of violence plunges the contenders into a final confrontation, David Rivers is sent in. He’s the first operative of a mercenary army.

Parachuting into Russia to link up with a mysterious intelligence agent, he must find a way to strike the heart of a ruthless criminal alliance.

The stakes couldn’t be higher. If David doesn’t succeed, he won’t just lose his life—he’ll lose everyone he cares about, too.

Because when this war is over, either one organization will stand…or none of them will.

Great story that makes you think of your own values and aware of those with absolutely None!!
A Fantastic action adventure that you will have trouble closing once you start page one. The immediate action grabs you, drags you in and holds you tightly through every explosive scene. This author carries you through every emotion, event and gut-clenching moment until you just don't know What may come Next!!
David River is Not a super hero, just a man, well-versed in military action, who will Not let those with No moral code run Anything! At great pain and sacrifice to himself, he takes on those who have done him wrong in the past, ready to end the days of folks ruling others with fear and punishment.
This is an outstanding series, and this last book has it All!! We Will see David Rivers again as he attempts to start a new life but others need his intelligence and loyalty. A 5 STAR story for All who enjoy an explosive adventure!! I received an ARC from the author and I give you my honest thoughts and feelings in this review!!

The sixth adventure in the American Mercenary series proves to keep you reading and anticipating the next twist that will happen to our favorite Mercenary, David Rivers.
David seems to always express his thoughts so you can feel the pain he is going through with this latest adventure. His personal objective to eliminate his Handler and all of the bad guys is always forefront as he tackles his latest mission to stop the buildup of organized crime who seems to have taken to using terrorists to aid them in their mission of world dominance of the criminal world.
The story progresses with help from his past friends and Mercenaries to accomplish this explosive thriller. This was a fun episode in the series and I am looking forward to what David Rivers gets into next.

Another great story from Jason Kasper, the last one in the David River's Mercenary series. If you have not read them all, you could read this one alone but I recommend reading all six in order. Kasper always keeps me at the edge of my seat wondering what is coming next. For so many of us who are completely unfamiliar with what people like David Rivers do, I like the fact that Kasper frequently gives his readers insight into what and how and what it is like to experience it. I'm sorry to see the American Mercenary series come to an end, but look forward to more David River's adventures as promised.

Jason Kasper wraps up American Mercenary series in Terminal Objective.
David Rivers is confronted with the usual adversaries along with a new one. He looks forward to putting the ugly side of an operator’s life behind him when it is ripped form his grasp and almost destroys his world. David embraces and achieves vengeance with all of his enemies. In doing so, he visits the dark-insane portion of his reality.
David closes this chapter in his life when he finds love of family and considers a toned down version to make the world safer for his family. A satisfying ending to a well crafted series.

Totally AWESOME

Terminal Objective is the sixth and final book of the American Mercenary series. It must be read in order. I believe there is a spin-off or follow-up series.

This series was totally AWESOME. There is a ton of fast-paced action, a plethora of eerily real combat scenarios and a main character who is doomed to lose everyone he loves, every time. Until, beyond all obvious possibilities, he successfully achieves his objectives and the mission ends.

I would absolutely recommend this book to any adult due to mature content. I look forward to reading the next series!

Full circle

To say that I liked this series is an understatement. Action packed, and not for the faint if heart, it has everything! And with this last book, it really comes full circle, as we see more of those characters from the first books who we forgot about because of everything happening to David all over the world.

And don’t get me started about that awesome open ending, which makes me look very much forward to the author’s new series featuring David Rivers!

In other words, this book and the whole series are fabulous reads and great thrillers. I highly recommend!

As I began to suspect in Vengence Calling, too many of the names were coming together to match the Team in the Shadow Strike series. Lots of great action in the field, good descriptions of the kits, weapons and support equipment. The final chapter could have been left off and added to next book, but six of one and a half dozen of the other. If you are just starting with Author Kasper read The American Mercenary first, then follow-up with The Shadow Strike series. Note : Night Stalker Rescue is book #0 prelude to Shadow Strike. VR, Mags

David Rivers and Jason Kasper deliver again!

Well written thriller with expertly drawn characters. David Rivers is complex and emotionally scarred from the deaths of so many he loved. Can he overcome his own pain and regret to rediscover a reason for living, while escaping the machinations of those who would end him? You won't regret traveling with David as he careens toward the shocking conclusion.

This completes the series before the character starts again in another one. I've read them all (and in order) and found them hard going at times. The regular (long) bouts of self analysis by the main character had me skipping through pages to get to the story and some of the other team members who I felt could have been more developed.
It's OK but there is an awful lot of competition in this genre and I thought completing the series was more of a hurdle than it should have been.

I read the next series before knowing this one existed. I was bummed I didn't read it all in the correct order, but also struggled to keep going with this series. I really only did it because I knew the main character and wanted to know how he became the man in the next series. This book was amazing. The twists and turns are great. I wasn't sure how we were going to get the main character from this series to the next but the transition was flawless! I'm excited for the next book to be released!

David Rivers has a goal to kill the Handler, but first he wants to kill Konstantin and Agustin. He and Parvaneh meet with Augustin to try to set him up, but it does not work out. This is when the novel gets very interesting. This is a page turning international thriller with a lot of action to keep you up reading.

Another book you can't out down!

I wish I could express how entertaining your novels are to this 85 year old lady. David is an interesting character who has gone from a young man in deep mental anguish to a man of substance and devotion to his new daughter. Hope he can relax and enjoy being a dad for a while before returning to the field of protecting us from all the bad guys.

Great series

I read all six books and the action sequences are among the best I have read. Also David is the hero I prefer. Tough, dark, comic, and only compassionate when it makes sense. He knows when someone should pay the price. Series was exciting, fun, and action packed.

Probably Better Than Earlier Books in the Series

... and, OK, I think I was able to ‘stay with’ this story, versus the previous books which focused a lot on David Rivers’ persistent, suicidal motives. This story has an ending, and a new beginning ... I’m not sure where the latter is going, but I liked this particular plot.

Entire David Rivers series

I choose not to write a review of each book individual way to writing a review of the whole series all at once. I personally loved every book in the series. It was easy to figure out and full of action and suspense. The books actually gave me the feeling as I was actually there involved in the action this series. If you love😓😓j

F”&@ yes!

I don’t know how to review without giving anything away, but if I thought I liked this series before, I was really only in training to get to the big show that is this book. What a fantastic ride, and when do I get to go again?! (I mean I know when, I pre-ordered the next book already) Nailed it JK.

The “American Mercenary” 6-book series ends. With twists, turns, surprises, and horrendous violence to curdle you with nightmares. Lots of insight is poured out about David, everything you wanted to ask about but were afraid too. Is he a psychotic or a sociopath? Hero saint or just a cold blooded killer. This read gets you there. And then, when you least expect it…

a story of revenge and redemption

David Rivers had a troubled past seeking revenge but getting caught in a trap of his own making. Patience and time and maybe a little luck helped him redeem himself and get on the right track of evil. Succeeding where others had failed to destroy a new evil and an old evil with the help of some good men.

Lots of action...again!

A great story; this one more so than the previous books in the series just due to the pure volume. The series seems to be coming to a close until the last two chapters. Can’t wait for the next release.

Please remove Goodreads

I do not like Goodreads. I find it annoying. I have no desire to give reviews to any books I read on Kindle. You need to remove this and quit asking for personal information.

Enjoyed River's transition from the dark world

River's gives us lots of action as he moved on with his mission against the handler. It is good to see him move from the dark side to new hope for a real life.

all is well that ends well

After all the action and killings, it’s quite a relief that there is a chance for a happy ending.

I hope that David will have a chance to have a normal life.
