Sam has retired at last and moved his family away from Denver to the sunny beaches of Florida, land of sunshine and Disney World. Life is great, and he’s glad to be free of all the dangers of being a private eye, especially after all he's been through

But nothing lasts forever, and it isn’t long before Sam stumbles across a situation he just can’t leave alone. People are dropping dead all over Florida and the authorities are stumped as to what’s killing them, so a local cop who had been a long-time fan shows up at the beach house with a plea for help.

It doesn’t take Sam, Indie and Beauregard long to figure the why of the many deaths, but then Sam becomes a target of the mysterious person behind it all.

Great new series

Wow! Exciting! So ingenious! I have enjoyed all the Sam Pritchard books and was excited to hear of this one. I am so impressed by the idea of increasing the roles of the ghostly characters. It really enhanced the plot and action. I love this book! Looking forward to the next.

Getting Hokey with more ghosts

I like all the SAM AND INDIE BOOKS. They are a quick read and a page turner. This book though I did enjoy, it was a little hokey that Sams mother is now a ghost with Beauregard. It makes it way to easy to solve crimes with ghosts talking to people after they die and walking through buildings(literally through) buildings.

A germ warfare story

The story started strong but fizzled out by page 34. This book is good for a beginner reader or someone who needs a quick read. Characters are not memorable and there is no details as to environment. This could have taken place in someone's backyard or any US street.

Maybe the best Sam Pritchard Story Yet

I just don't get why it's the first in a series of Sam and Indie novels. Indiana has played as large a role in many Sam Pritchard story. Marketing? Make it the couple and it may sell better? Can't say, don't really care. The team of Sam, Indie, Kim, Grace and Beauregard have their best terrifying adventures yet in this tale. Oh and two of those characters are ghosts. One is Sam's mother and the other is a ghost from the Civil War who is a distant relative to his host. An ISIS bio weapon and a plot against the President. Read on why don't you?

The latest book in this series combines current events ( Pandemic) and the After life. Sam s mom passed away and is now helping Him solve crimes. The author has an interesting idea about the After Life. In this book Sam is retired and he moves his family to Florida ( hour drive away from Disney. The family had barely unpacked when a minor Pandemic Crisis began, Sam working with the Orlando Police Department is stumped at first , but with help from his mom and her friend he is able to solve the problem. Another interesting thing is that the POTUS is targeted by his own Fraternity Brothers to be removed from office.

Didn't like this book

This book is poorly written and predictable. There is no suspense, the characters are one dimensional, the author talks a lot about "ugly" people, and the bad guy is too predictable. Would not recommend , I did not finish the book and and I am sorry I bought the book. Save your time and money and pick another book.

Life In Florida

It didn't take long for Sam to get involved again. This storyline was really evil, so many unsuspecting people dying such horrible deaths. Your introduction of Grace and Beauregard getting into the scenery was great. All the characters were interesting. I look forward to reading more.

Sam is brought in as a consultant for the Orlando Police. An outbreak of people bleeding out, and it was happening beyond Orlando. Trying to find what they had in common, and how to find a cure, was baffling even for the ones in the lab. With help from .Beauregard and Grace brought a lot of insight into what was happening. As well of how their boundaries were stretched and finding company in one another. Good characters that add humor to the story and well done.

Helpful Ghosts Make a Difference

Like the man said, "I've got to get me a couple of ghosts." Terrorism, sadism, and casual murder make this story a hard act to follow; but if anyone can do it, it's probably Mr. Archer. This book is a page turner from the first chapter until the last.

Another good read

I have enjoyed the entire series thus far. Although I thought this one was out there a little with the introduction of Sam's mother as another ghost, I still enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next book.

Another Winner by David Archer.

This book unites Grace (Sam’s late mother) and Beauregard who work together to help Sam find a mystery bioterrorist, and also save the President. Good writing (expect nothing else from Archer) and easy read. Started and finished it today. ENJOY!

Another Enjoyable Read

I've always liked this series. It's fun to read, stays clean, and includes values I admire. This book in particular hits a bit close to current events, considering the outbreak of covid-19.

Always fun to read

I like the Sam Pritchard books because they are lively and easy to read. There are some scenes that are scary, but all in all, these scenes are necessary to the books, and they give me the urge to keep reading to find out what Sam is going to do!

You never know

While I really enjoy all of the Sam Pritchard book, I have to admit that the presence of the ghosts make it hard to believe. However, I do believe in ghosts so I stay intrigued!

As always the stories are well written. I thought the extended role of Beuregard and company a bit too much. Still looking forward to the next one.
