About the author

C.D. Reiss

CD Reiss is a New York Times bestselling author. She still has to chop wood and carry water, which was buried in the fine print. Her lawyer is working it out with God but in the meantime, if you call and she doesn't pick up she's at the well hauling buckets.

Born in New York City, she moved to Hollywood, California to get her master's degree in screenwriting from USC. In case you want to know, that went nowhere but it did give her a big enough ego to write novels.

She's frequently referred to as the Shakespeare of Smut which is flattering but hasn't ever gotten her out of chopping a single cord of wood.

If you meet her in person, you should call her Christine.

Three tycoons meet their match
The first book, Kind of Code , told from the man’s point of view, drew me in with its delightful point of view, style of writing and storytelling, and unpredictability. Then I had to read the rest of the series to complete the story. Set in a small town that feels like it is in the middle of nowhere, the series focus on the lives of three very rich men and how them falling in love change their lives and those around them. For me, the first book was the best, but I liked the others as well because they made some of the supporting characters from the first book the focal points and rounded out the stories of that town. Each time recurring characters popped up in the other stories, it enriches the background.

A mixed bag

This is a three book series, and while each is its own story, they're all interconnected. I really didn't care for the first one (King of Code) at all, it was just way too heavy on the tech and coding stuff. The second (Prince Charming) was OK, though a little hard to follow with the online alter egos and "what's your real name" stuff. But I enjoyed the third one (White Knight) much more, and it makes more sense if you've read the first two. Overall, it's a decent read, but the first one dragged my rating down a lot. I enjoyed her Crowne series much more.

A Heated Trilogy

This series of books, are a heated trilogy about three amazing heroines and the men lucky enough to live them. These three women represent all women, smart, sad, strong weak, sexy and demure in their stories and their actions. The sex in these books is sizzling hot but not unrealistic. I recommend this series of books for readers who enjoy reading about real women finding sex love and their happy endings.

I’m up to the 22% mark of the first book and I am having a hard time getting past it.. this story is just so boring and stupid and the author is trying to make these characters mysterious but I just stopped caring… I like an alpha male who chases the girl and I don’t even know what the hell I’m reading.. i’m going to put this down and start a different book and maybe come back to this or maybe not..

Love stories are beautiful. A beginning where love blossoms, a middle where you decide whether this is the one and the end where you live happily ever after. Of course there are the trials and tribulations inbetween that make all of it worthwhile. Enjoy

I read the 1st story from this trilogy and it was so bad (between the writing and the stupidest hero), that I decided I don't wanna read the rest of them. Maybe one day, because his friend seemed really interesting, but not anytime soon.

Ok

Some of these stories could have been shorter a lot shorter. Just took too long to get to the main focus of the stories. I could not finish just scanned through. I've read others from this author and was really surprised that this one didn't do it for me.

Middle of nowhere, small town Barrington has some smart, driven, selfless women. When those women meet their matches in smart, mysterious, successful men the sparks fly.
This is a great box-set with plenty of small town drama, fat bank accounts and lots of love.

Meh

These books were much too long. It shouldn't take that long to spit out what you're going to say. The first one started so slowly that I almost gave up. Reviews led me to believe they were going to be much better than they were.

Well! That is not what I thought it would be about! But I really enjoyed them. The dark web is very intriguing. Loved the way how they intertwined into each other. It was nice to have a book with ordinary people and not all about bling, flash things and money. I would recommend it to read

I’ve read King of Code, Prince Charming, & White Knight before and loved them even more the second time around.

Very good compilation for summer chill-out with a book in your hand.
From the three books:
• King of Code is the funniest story,
• Prince Charming is the most kinky and the most interesting story (plot wise),
• White Knight is a second-chance story which is the most melancholic.

Riveting and Sweet

The first book in this series was hard for me to read with all the "coding" lingo. The love story between Harper and Taylor was good. The 2nd book was less "tech" and more story was easier to read. The 3rd book with Catherine and Chris was just so sweet and compelling.

Another great collection!

She did it again! This is a great series of books! I loved the characters and their stories. From Taylor and Hayden through Catherine and Chris, I loved reading all about them. And you can't forget about Cassie and Keaton!! I loved how all their stories intertwined. This was a great read!! Highly recommended!
