I am so happy that I managed to get a copy of this book. Hopefully it will be available on amazon soon. It was a quick and very safe steamy read.

Zara has been a part of the system since being a young child and has been moved from family to family never really having anywhere to call home or feel that she has ever belonged, that is until she gets to Camp Hardwood and everything within her settles. After hearing a rumour Zara decides to go exploring in the woods and soon finds herself lost, alone with the light fading she is now facing a bear. She is saved by the man she has been watching since she arrived and when she looks in his eyes she knows she has finally found the place she wants to call her home. Will Moose want her as she wants him or will he discard her like everyone else in her life?

Moose is happy with his solitary life after the career and war zones he has experienced he enjoys his life as a ranger at Camp Hardwood. But when the call comes through that one of the students has gone missing he is unprepared for the girl he finds. Moose is suddenly faced with the woman made just for him and he is determined to keep her above anything else. Will Zara want to stay with the reclusive man and can he really let her go if she wants to leave?

I am really enjoying this new series from these two writers and have all my fingers and toes crossed that amazon will have all their books back soon. Highly recommended bedtime read.

Zara ha aceptado la apuesta de adentrarse en los bosques a encontrar al supuesto hombre raro que vive solo en las montañas. Pero el desafío ya no le parece tan buena idea cuando Zara de encuentra perdida y delante de un oso... Pero entonces es rescatada por el hombre con el que lleva obsesionada un tiempo.
Moose es avisado por el campamento que se les ha perdido una chica. Cuando él la encuentra sabe una cosa segura: ella no se va a ir nunca de su lado.

Cómo siempre una muy buena lectura para pasar el rato. Cortita y al grano, cero dramas. Aunque sí que es verdad que siempre me gusta el instalove de estas historias en este libro me resultó un poco enfermizo... Es como que ella habla tanto de lo falta de cariño que está, y de que haría todo por qué la quisieran que lo único que pensaba era: un psicólogo ya. Sentí como que Moose se estaba beneficiando de que ella estaba tan desesperada porque la quisieran que eso no iba a ser amor de verdad. Lo sé pienso demasiado las cosas, normalmente no lo hago pero es que la protagonista es tan insistente en que haría cualquier cosa para que la quiera y que no la deje marchar y blablabla, que me sentí así.

En fin, no me hagáis caso. Que es una buena historia para pasar el rato punto jajaja

Just when I think our Queens of smut can't top their previous Alphas and they bring this dirty talking ranger.

Moose is content living on his little part of paradise. He ventures out when needed but mostly keeps to himself. When a call comes in that there is a missing camper he sets out to find her. What he doesn't expect is to find the missing part of his soul. The one that completes him.

Zara has bounced from foster home all her life. She has never fit in ever. She's never been welcomed. Having just turned eighteen she knows when she goes back that she will no longer be in the foster system. Not that anyone will care. All her life she has wanted to belong to someone. Coming to this camp has opened her eyes up. She sees the way the owners love each other. And she wants that.

She's also noticed Moose. The big burly park ranger. Though she has made sure to keep hidden as she doesn't want him to know.

But when she gets lost on the mountain it's Moose that is the man to find her she knows with one touch that this man is her forever.

God I love these reads. They are drama free. They deliver Alpha's that love with their whole hearts and will lay down their lives for the one.

They are flat out filthy but these two ladies give you a connection. You feel invested and you want to believe.

Lots of sex lol and once the the storm is over they have to go back to camp and Moose isn't letting her go..

My only problem they didn't really show what happened at the camp.. just straight to epilogue..

I really enjoyed this fresh new series and can't wait to read more.
This new series is so sexy and hot. Inta-love in the woods.
Moose is living on the mountain and is the ranger for the area that includes the Camp Hardwood. He likes his secluded life after his time in the military.
He gets a call that one of the girls is missing and last seen on the trail leading up the mountain. He heads out to search the area and find the girl before a storm breaks out.
Zara decides shes' going to go looking for Moose and heads out after telling her camp buddy that if she hasn't returned in a couple of hours to tell Honey and Ford. But now she has a different thing to worry about besides being lost in the forest...
No harm comes to any animals, just told to move along... ;)

This was a quickie Alexa Riley story. It featured Zara and Moose who were briefly mentioned in the previous book.

Zara barely turned 18 and no idea how old Moose is. I’m assuming there’s a larger age gap but I can’t be certain. He’s the Ranger at Camp Hardwood and is asked to help find Zara after she wanders out into the woods and gets lost. He finds her and he’s immediately lusting after her. Coincidentally, she’s been watching him too.

There’s a storm so they end up back at Moose’s cabin. Not five minutes in and he’s already on her. She goads him into it. It’s just fucking hot all around.

“I’ve never licked a hymen before,” I say, biting her ass and going back for more. “It’s like a cherry Lifesaver.”

And there we have our Alexa Riley book quote of the day. 😂

There’s not much actual story to this story. Just lots of fucking because they are insatiable. Of course there’s an HEA but once you’ve read one it feels like you’ve read em all. Still, it was a good read.

Moose works at Camp Hardwood as the park ranger and he does all the background check on all the campers and staff. He is good friends with Ford Cyprus owner of Camp Hardwood so people are used to seeing him around camp. Zara is a camper at Hardwood and she just turned eighteen and wanted to go explore the woods but gets lost. Ford calls Moose up in the woods to find Zara and the minute he finds her, he has to make her his. Zara has always had a crush on Moose and him rescuing her turns into something more. Moose was a typical AR OTT alpha who would do anything for Zara. Moose and Zara found love at camp Hardwood and their HEA. It was an alright story, I enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

I’ve read a lot of Alexa Riley books in my time and while ALL of them follow the same equation (alpha male + virgin = instalove and trapping her via means of pregnancy), this one was by far the worst one I’ve read...and that’s coming from a big Alexa Riley fan!

Do I expect Austen level romantic notions and Hemingway writing? No! That’s why I read Alexa Riley every once in a while! Sometimes, you just want something quick, dirty and won’t take up space in your mind afterwards.

However, this book was cheesy and the characters didn’t have the same kind of chemistry her other ones do. Disappointed but that won’t stop me from reading other Alexa Riley books.

It's a hot short book. You can easily squeeze it in, between work and life who prevents you from reading.
A Alpha Male who is very possessive and just claims his woman. The story between Zara and Moose is great. It can be read as a standalone. Even if I think it's best to read in order. Especially because parts are in the first book.
