We couldn't deny that magic existed. We couldn't deny the growing feelings between all of us. So what is a girl to do? I can barely focus on the life-altering knowledge that an entire realm of magic exists, let alone my eight boyfriends. Oh and don't forget my two princes!
Oh no. When did they become my princes? Just ignore that.
Chaos is the law of the land in our household. Violence? The norm. Blood? Are you actually surprised? So. Yeah. I guess the only thing to do is to roll with it. I just hope that we finally get some answers because things are getting odder by the moment. I know that Edwin says that we don't have magic yet, but I'm just not sure I believe that completely.
I'm just hoping we can make it to Thanksgiving without losing our minds. Well... more than we already have. Wish me luck!
What will happen to Vegas and her boys next? Find out in this 100k novel! Ready yourself for chaos, love, and gore in a story that weaves together elements of gothic aesthetic, horror, and romance. Nothing is ever simple for Vegas and her boys in this third instalment of The Red Masques (once again, I am telling you it is COMPLETELY possible for Vegas's boys to get more intense and crazy). Have fun!
*** It is not necessary but adds to the experience if you read the Vengeance series as well. Characters from both series will be brought together, however, adequate descriptions for what is occurring plot-wise will be explained throughout during any crossover.***
*Fantasy Reverse Harem* Our characters swear a lot. Be prepared. As well, please be advised that the book contains darker themes including but not limited to assault, PTSD, gore, and violence. Additionally, sexual themes are suitable for mature audiences. +18

Just remember to love cats... that's not negotiable.
I think I finally have most of the guys separated now in my head, though a couple of them only by process of elimination. Despite that, I love this series. I may have to reread it since I have just now figured out who is who.
Now spoilers!
Blue - blood mage, psychopath, kinda the leader of the first eight we met from first book.
Kodiak - nature mage, shifts to a wolf, obsessive, stalkerish, possessive, always tries to keep her safe and making her eat
Grover - metal mage, great with weapons, needs a lot of attention but hates negative attention
I am enjoying the (strange and meandering) plot, however, this series is sorely lacking in sex scenes. She has 10 boyfriends! By book 3, I'd have hoped she'd have slept with at least 3/4 of them, but nope.
This the third time I’ve read this series, but I guess I forgot to leave a review. I love Vegas and her men with the sweet suspense of their love story. Great writer
This book is wayyyyyyyyyy too long. Pages upon pages of description and internal monologues, interspersed with some sex and romance. Often many of the scenes do nothing to move forward the plot of the series. There is one particular moment when Byron takes Vegas shopping with one of the guys. She ends up getting fitted and new clothing and then has sex with one of the guys in the dressing room. It was only to facilitate the sex scene and supposedly to meet some of Byron’s sort of family. But it didn’t really fit with the story. Why did we need to see this scene? Why are we always talking about Vegas being clean, her hair, what she’s wearing? But the plot is just in limbo.
At the beginning of the book it is noted that they will leave for the Horde on Friday. It legit takes the entire damn book to get to part 2 titled “The Horde Realm” and that’s maybe 10% of the back of the book. We spent more time going from place to place, getting vague threats from one stalker to seeing Nathan again. We still don’t exactly know what Vegas is and although we get answers in the last 5% of the book, I still find myself with tons and tons of questions.
This is book three, there should be some information by now, way more than we have received. I’m beyond frustrated by the endless questions, the round about way to get through the story I just don’t think I can continue the series even though I really truly do want to know what is going to happen with Vegas and her men. I like that part of the story. It’s the magical parts that are disjointed. There are things said in previous books not mentioned much at all recently. Such at The Letters and how they were mages I think but we haven’t seen them since was it book 1 maybe. Idk it’s confusing.
I feel like we somewhat know who the stalker is but the fact that it’s been 3 books and we are no closer to identifying the stalker is beyond annoying and frustrating. It just needs to be cut and redone so that the mundane parts are not there. I kept skimming a lot of parts bc they really had nothing to do with the overall story.
I feel bad, I want to like this, I stuck it out 3 books but I don’t think I have it in me to be strung along.
So this book starts of right were it left off from the last one and continues straight into crazyville.
For a book with 10 guys, you would think that i would have a favourite, well i do depending on who's point i'm reading from (Bandit and Blue have a extra special place)
We got to see a completely different side to Bandit
We get to see Tamara the pink haired demon again and meet her 7 men. Chaos ensues and they're off to the Horde were we meet Gray and her savage men (
The guys finally get their tattoo's, most of their powers are not surprising. We finally get Vega's origin story.
The majority of this book is filled with them dealing with their everyday lives and the shit with the stalker.
Alot of things that happens in this book along with some of the men's actions are normally things that put me off a book, but they way the character's are written i just click with it.
Love this book. Well written and captivating. Storyline was intense and entertaining.
Vegas is one kickass character, especially considering all the guys she has wrapped around her little finger. Her guys are varied and mostly psycho, but in a good way. They all suit each other and are a family.
The intrigue and sometimes sinister aspects of the story keep you on the edge of your seat. I cannot wait for the next book.
So this book is PACKED. I mean we finally get an explanation of magic, 2 stalkers, a change in the living department, a surprise visit from Tamera and her psycho crew, travel from Boston to Istanbul to Estonia and then the Horde, meet the new Queen AND our guys finally get their magic revealed along with Vegas learning what she is!! So yeah.. this book is packed. I love how Vegas is really starting to come out of her shell with all the sass; I know, she was never really in a shell, but she just keeps getting sassier with every new revelation and I love it. I think my favorite, no I KNOW my favorite part is when they finally make it to the Horde and everyone’s magic is revealed. I was like yep, guessed it, mmhmm, yep, of course, duh, oh shnit I thought he was going to be an alchemist, HOLY F*CK not what I was expecting. Now, can I take a moment to say just how much I freaking LOVE Bandit. Like I’ve loved him from the moment we met him; I love a sweetheart, silent guy that plays nice for the lady but everyone is secretly Terrified of him. But I fell head over heels in love with him in this book. I mean I absolutely love a sociopath and that my friends, is how we come to identify our dearest Bandit. If you’ve read this far into my review, I think it’s time you hit that “buy now” button because you are obviously interested in continuing this story. Welcome to Crazytown, population 11.
I really like Vegas and all her guys, and I liked to see they all getting their magic and would like to see them learn more about that… however, I am not that interested in Gray from Savages. I read the first book and had no real intention to read the next, and to have Vegas and Gray now so intertwined kind of make me question if I want to proceed with this series? The main reason I didn’t continue with the Vengeance series is because I tend to not like books that take place in other realms or universes, I like earth-based fantasy, and Gray in book two left the earth realm. Other realms just doesn’t interest me eniugh, and specially not when there also is a war brewing.
So do I like Vegas enough to push through plotlines I don’t enjoy or do I let her go so not sully my opinion of her because of the plotlines I don’t enjoy? 🤔
//this was my inner monologue right after finishing this book.
I lost interest after the half of the book and it was difficult to continue reading. I mean, there are way too many internal monologues and descriptions! The storyline flowed so slowly that it was soporific😴 If you have already read the serie "Vengeance", you already knew what Vegas is, so the "big" disclosure wasn't one🙄😕 About the POV, I want to read more about the guys and less about Vegas! But it's the case for almost every book written with POV I'v ever read😅 I like the way things are evolving between Vegas and Edwin and Byron but her reaction when she realised !!!spoiler!!! that they erased her memory isn't realistic. She should be furious😡 and devastated😭 but it was kind of "ah, ok, well what next?"🧐🤨 Maybe it was a way for the author to make us understand how Vegas is different from normal people but after having repeated it during three volumes I think we got it...🙄 Anyway, I like the story and I want to know who the stalker is!
I just read pure magic!! M. Sinclair continues to build and weave a story full of magic, action, love, lust, mystery and intrigue. This series has everything you could absolutely want.
This book continued to build the relationship between Vegas and her men. More secrets were revealed about Vegas’s magic and past and it was quite the revelation and freaking amazing, and Vegas, despite being overwhelmed, took it in stride.
One of my favorite moments/concepts was when each of Vegas’s men received their tattoos and their mage magic. It was so intriguing to see how their personalities translated to the type of mage they were. It was a phenomenal scene and completely blew me away with its originality and detail that flowed off the pages.
This series/book just continues to build and blow me away with the uniqueness and originality!
I like this RH book I do, but i feel like when the RH gets to like 10 now? It's a bit toooo much. So, I feel like i would give it a 3.5* I find myself being confused with all the guy characters I need to keep up with who they are and how they act. But, there is more adventure to this book
This story of Vegas and her men is heating up to near boiling now in both storytelling and spicy times. Feels like this book is the key to everything and whatever happens next will blow the whole tale out of the water.
This has been a fun experience, reading both this series and the Vengeance series together, and observing my reactions to both. I feel like I'm a participant in the story, as a voye...ur, I mean observer. Though, I'm not sure how I could handle being in love with 10 men, clearly you need magic powers and Vegas has her magical hands full of...you know, I really like roosters. Cock-a-doodle-doo.
And now I'll show myself out. Happy Reading! I enjoyed this!
Shadow Glass (The Red Masques Book 3) Absolutely outstanding book !! What a rollercoaster ride, what a revelation! This book took twists and turns that left me reeling. But the heroine is so awesome, snarky yet sweet, and her men just complimented her in different ways that meshed together seamlessly. Now I can’t decide whether I want to dive into Gray’s story or Vegas’. I decided that I will finish this series then dive into Gray's story.. What a ride! M.Sinclair is such a talented author and she has quickly become one of my favorites. I’ve read most of her books now and there hasn’t been one I haven’t absolutely loved....... Definitely recommend this book & series to EVERYONE who loves RH or is just getting into RH books !!!
Oh wow! The plot just gets thicker! The Revelations and growth in the story continue as Vegas and her band of merry crazy navigate new realms and new knowledge. I felt like each chapter was a countdown to the ultimate revelation of who Vegas truly is. I watched the percentages of the book fly by and my anxiety grew to epic proportions! I'm also pleased with all the growth in her relationships with the guys. I know one thing, for sure, they will absolutely be prepared for what's coming for them, but I don't think the worlds are truly prepared for them! I'm so ready to get back on the crazy train! Awesome sauce! I needs some more! 😊
I honestly think this might be my favourite book from the series. Tamara and her men do another cameo so you get an in-depth meeting of them. Gray and her man make an appearance so you can fully appreciate how Vegas and her boys will tie in with them. I honestly loved the cute scenes between Vegas and Byron. It was great that the guys finally got their blood ink tattoos and received their magic, and I’m finally glad that the missing puzzle piece was filled in about Vegas’ magic. I honestly can’t wait for book 4 and to find out more about this stalker and hopefully to get rid of him. I highly recommend this series, and you should start from book 1!
Vegas and her men (plus the two annoying mages), have to head to the horde realm, which means there is a lot for the group to deal with.
There are a lot of revelations in this one, and we get to meet Gray from the Vengeance series, along with her men! The guys all get to see what magic they’re getting, and Vegas learns a few secrets!
This is the third book in the series, and picks up where the last one left off, so you have to read them in order. It’s an entertaining read, and one that those who have read the first few books will enjoy, as will RH fantasy enthusiasts.
I love M Sinclair's creativity and every book that she writes her series are romantic but they're not over the top romantic where you feel like every page is nothing sex she has such a way with fantasy that you feel like you are part of the story and you can't wait to get to the next page and then the next book because everything just blends together so smoothly I love her writing and I love this series and you will too trust me on this I'm an avid reader I know good when I read it and she she's great
I love how this series is building up. The relationships are developing, characters too. In this book we finally get answers about Vegas and the boys. I was looking forward to learn the type of mages Vegas's men are and I love how the author slipped in some characteristics that actually gave me a strong idea about it.
Also, I love these characters so much and can't get enough of them. This series is one of my top favorites!
This series is so crazy that one minute you think you have things somewhat figured out and then the next it's completely different. I loved that in this book we got to learn more about Vegas and her boys and we got to see some of the horde. Also I loved that everyone finally got there powers, which they were not in anyway shocking in what they were at all. I cannot wait to see where this batsh*t crazy bunch goes next.
If I thought the other books in this series were action packed I would most definitely be wrong as this one is explosive!!
There’s so much going on for Vegas and her guys not only emotionally but physically, mentally and you could possibly even say magically? It’s unreal what this book is filled with and it made for an interesting and exciting read!
There’s mystery, secrets, action, passion and so much more! Can’t wait for more!!
So, at the end of this book you find out who and what Vegas is. But damn, it still is confusing about the magic system and how certain people end up With certain powers. But I am enjoying the dialogue and different characters. It is a fast read that does not require a whole lot of thinking because it flies by quickly with what is happening in the storyline.
I read a lot of romance. I don't mind reading about spanking or the FMC being a brat knowing what will happen. In this book, however, something was done against her will (not related to sexual attacks at all) and she gets spanked into forgiving the person because she gets turned on. That is a hard no for me. I was kind of enjoying the series, but a step too far is a step too far.
Shadow Glass by M. Sinclair is a wonderful story to read. This is book number three in this wondersul series that I loved reading very much. I highly recommend this story to eeryone who loves reading about magic, dark romance and fantasy in their stories.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Vegas and her men are so much fun to read about!!!! I am always amazed at how this author manages to make each man in the harem have his own distinct personality!!!! Some books I’ve read struggle to do this with five guys, much less ten!!! I really love this storyline and I can’t wait to read the next book!!!!!
In book 3 Vegas's power continues to grow. She now has 10 bonded. They need to get to fae and get their magic tattoos. This book explains what we have been waiting for ; who Vegas is. This series is full of magic and adventure. I love it. Every book gets a little better.
I think this is my favourite so far out of the 3 books. I loved it and I'm glad we finally got some answers. Ve and Gray are totally bad a## and I think they will make a formidable team. I can't wait to read grays story for now though I need to delve into ves story a bit further and hope their stalker finally gets his comeuppance.
I don't know where to start. Vegas now has a connection to the mages. She doesn't understand why. They finally travel to the Horde to receive their mage tattoos. What they all get is so much more. Vegas finds out about her past, and what a shocker that is! Gray is crowned Queen. Could she be related to her? So much more excitement is coming, I can tell.
Ok this is better! There was action, magic, much more sexy times. The tensions and relationships are growing. I am loving Bandit and Booker most out of the boys. We got some magic answers finally. The world expanded and got some new characters that are interesting. Still slightly repetitive but I have learned to ignore it.
Decent storyline and I like that it’s multiple pov. What I don’t like is the infantilizing of the fmc that always irritates me. Why can’t she be kick butt beside her men!?! Why do the men “need to punish her” or spank her that’s not s3xy that’s icky. Like she can’t take care of herself or use her own mind…if she does the men need to punish her ick.
