İyi yazılmış, kısa ve özlü bir kitap. Bourdieu'nün devlet teorisini açıklamadan önce, düşünürün genel teorik çerçevesini ve devlet teorisini geliştirirken beslendiği Marx, Weber, Elias, Sayer gibi isimlerin çalışmalarını da özetliyor. Sonunda da iyi eleştiriler getiriyor.
