Ours to Love

Rate this book
Ryan - I’m not like most guys my age; I had a very different upbringing, which is why I’m going on my first date at age 21. I have dreams of finding someone special and falling in love, but those dreams are dashed when my date - a pompous ass who cares more about status than people - goes straight to hell. Luckily, two men swoop in to rescue me. Two gorgeous men. Two gorgeous brothers. I couldn’t pick out the more handsome of the pair if I had a gun to my head. And once we get to talking, I find out I like each of their personalities as well. Even though they’re different, with Logan being the more practical, sweet one, and Will being fiercely protective, they’re both perfect to me. I instantly feel safe and happy with them. I can’t stand the thought of not seeing either of them again. To my surprise, they feel the same way. And so, we begin our sweet and incredibly sexy adventure together. They introduce my mind, body and heart to things I never dreamed possible. Our relationship may not be the conventional norm, but it is truly amazing.

*This M/M/M romance is for readers 18 and up! It has no cheating or cliffhangers and a very happy HEA! It contains a fierce protector, a patient planner, and the sweet man who loves them both with all of his heart. Be on the lookout for dramatic uncles, loads of laughs and tons of sexy scenes. Trigger warning: this book contains mention of sexual assault.

I live in rural Ohio with my husband and two sons who drive me nuts, but I love them with all my heart. I enjoy reading and writing romance of all types, but gay romance is my forte and favorite! Twice the sexy men? Yes, please! My books tend to be low angst because it hurts my heart, but they do contain lots of heartfelt moments, steamy scenes and a healthy dose of humor. Thank you to everyone for checking out my page and I hope you enjoy my books. Happy reading!

Two brothers loving another man named Ryan. They share, but the two brothers aren’t exactly in love with each other so not so much of a poly, that I’m used to, no. (thank God, Hugo told me earlier or else I suffer! 😂)

If you’re like me and hoping for elements of incest, change your mind. I needed to see three for three, but LOL little did I know. They did have sex threeway and pursue a sweet poly relationship, don’t worry. Only a titbit disappointed.

The whole book was sweet, swoony and steamy and the brothers were hella overprotective. However, I do notice Jayda’s concept of overprotective never work on me. The written combination of “protecting” and being “romantic” at the same time never complement each other. But it might work for some people, who knows? Storyline-wise, it feels like Jayda’s usual seasonings weren’t there that I got a little bored with it.

Don’t get me wrong, certain parts of this book worked out ok. The insta love worked for me as usual and the way I inhaled the writing was also a bonus point. and the sex 👀 heeee always love a threewayyy! overall, it wasn’t captivating enough for me to LOVE it, but I enjoyed the fluff especially the last scene so sweeet 🤭💜

Book safety, content warnings, and tropes down below.

The coordination it took to suck two guys off was insane.

I still haven’t read a Jayda Marx book that wasn’t pure fluff, and that’s alright. I always know what to expect going in and that really works for me. If you want low angst, two brothers sharing small cutie, instalove and hot sharing scenes, then definitely give this one a try. It’s also borderline taboo because the brothers rub dongs inside their boyfriend. They’re not into each other but clearly don’t mind a bit of touching, lol.

Objectively? 3 stars. Pure enjoyment? 4 stars.

Once he was out of earshot, I sighed. “He’s wonderful.”
“He is,” Will agreed.
“I’m gonna ask him out.”
“Like hell you are. I’m asking him out.”
“No way. He obviously likes me better.”
“You’re obviously insane,” I snapped back.
“He wants me.”
“You think everyone wants you!”

“I can get this,” he offered. “Or at least pay my part; we got a lot of food.” Will shook his head. “You’re dating two possessive assholes who constantly try to outdo each other. Trust me, you’re not going to need that wallet.”

“Then, depending on the type you catch, you’ll release it from your hook and pop it in the cooler.” Ryan’s eyes bugged out. “The cooler? Wait a minute, we’re not letting them loose?” “Um…” Will glanced at me before continuing, “This is dinner.” “Dinner?” “Do you not like to eat fish?” I asked. “I’m sorry, I should have checked.” “No, I like it, it’s just…I’ve never eaten a fish I’ve known personally,” Ryan explained

This trio is sexy and super sweet...

This is a funny, sexy threesome tale, set in Michigan, with sweetness, insta-love, and steamy sexiness, including menage sexy times, firsts, and Dp-double penetration, and is low angst.
Cute twink, white haired Ryan, 21,

a gas station manager/artist, is meeting his blind date, but it didn’t go well.
Will and Logan, brothers who own a successful apple/cherry Orchard, were there to witness the crappy date, and liked Ryan, so they stepped in. Ryan likes his muscled, gorgeous heroes.
Will, 29, has long brown hair and a beard,

plus he’s tall and built.
Logan, 27, is a bit smaller, with light brown hair/scruff

and the brothers have brown eyes.

And so the brothers court Ryan, which is fun and full of anticipation, we get the tender tale of Ryan’s past, and the brothers tell him about losing their folks and growing apples.
Will and Logan help Ryan with some issues, and the three men make the relationship a good one.

The characters are lovable, we see some quirky relatives, the sex is exciting, and the story moves along nicely. The Dp scenario is one I’ve not seen in any of the many books I’ve read.

Heartwarming, super sexy and totally sweet.

Great ending
Enjoy !

This was so much fun! Horny, instalove, fluff, some drama, two brothers and their lover, very adorable. I enjoyed the possessiveness of the brothers, and how they both were so obsessed with Ryan. I needed some instalove, and this one worked great. I will say the brothers are cowards for being scared of touching dicks /j.

Content Warnings for book: Homophobia, sexual assault, off-page parental death

Kink: Group sex, dirty talk

Ours to Love is an MMM romance of two brothers in love with the same man, Ryan.

Will, Logan, and Ryan were super sweet. Their meetcute of a bad date and swooping in to save the day, the possessive nature of them both, the banter between the brothers… I loved it all. Ryan has a disability (though we aren’t ever given a name to it, but it sounds vaguely familiar), and the brothers are very caring and understanding about it. I don’t know how to put into words just how sweet the slice of life was, the fluffiness, it all just worked for me. The sex scenes were also hot.

There is this villain towards the last half with someone trying to sexually assault Ryan — I think this was handled alright? It could be worse, at least. I enjoyed the side characters too, though there Very Flamboyant Gay side character isn’t always my favorite, but Marx likes to use it quite a bit. Not in a way that it’s negative, though.

If you want something sweet and lovey, I’d go with this one for sure!

I hate giving negative reviews. This book starts out wonderfully and promises an interesting dynamic between the brothers and their new conquest. And then it was all super cute and fluffy. And I loved it. And then it got boring and more boring. The length of the book didn't help either. I only finished it because I still had hope that maybe it would get better on the next few pages. ... Well, I have rarely had to read such a lame polyamorous story. 😩🙄😩

this is a difficult rating.
i want to start saying that i don’t mind fluff, but this pushed my limits. and you can’t write super possessive/alpha characters and make them also super sweet and ridiculously fluffy because they feel super fake.

that being said, i loved the idea so i gave it one extra star.
if you think that you can stomach the extreme fluffiness you’ll love this.

The author calls this fluff and that's definitely what it is. A big gooey dessert with a ton of fluffy cream on top, and some spicy bits sprinkled over top.
The good: The brothers personalities work well together and make sense for a three-way relationship. The characters don't waffle with their decision, they want to date each other as a triad and they just do it. They actually date too, we see them do fun things together.
The bad: Ryan comes across as very juvenile. Most of the time he seems to be 21 going on 5. The sexy times take too long to get started, it's well past 30% before we get anything beyond chaste kisses and 50% before anything very hot and heavy happens. I like the sweet stuff but, come on, I read MMM for high spice. And while the spicy scenes are creative, the tone isn't super hot. There is crying. There is an annoying side character that made me skim a few scenes. The pet names are not great. Bear? Really? That's creative. But mostly, the story is just too long for what it is. This level of fluff can only support shortish stories.
2.5 stars that I am rounding up because the book never tries to be more than it is. It doesn't pretend the ridiculously perfect characters and story are anything except a sweet and spicy fantasy of being pampered and protected by two big sexy guys.

Wonderfully sweet

This is the 3rd book I’ve read by this author and she doesn’t disappoint.

Writing a three way romance is pretty hard. The fact that two brothers are involved is even harder. The book moves quickly and is sweet, romantic and very sexy.

Makes me want to go apple picking.

Five stars!

Beautiful and so heartwarming

I so fell in love with these guys, in different ways and for different reasons. All three of them were so wonderful in their own way and together it’s like they are the three leaves on a Shamrock. Two leaves would means something is missing, and four leaves is so very, very unheard of. But the three leaves are perfect and together they form one beautiful thing. That’s what this is, this is the story of three parts of a soul finding each other and coming together to make one beautiful, mind blowing, effervescent whole!!

Not at all what i was expecting!

Went a different way than you normally see with an m/m/m romance, even one featuring brothers. I thought there was going to be more "brother love" and would not have been disappointed if there was, but the direction their relationship took was different and sweet. Very enjoyable!

She’s done it again

Jayda Marx has made another book so sweet and heart warming it takes your breath away. I was skeptical at first since the 2 guys are brothers and not your usual couple inviting a 3rd in. The dynamic was intresting but in the end it all fit together well.

Sweet and steamy

Loved this sweet story so much. Ryan is such a surprising character as his relationship with the sexy brothers evolved. So sweet as they court Ryan. So hot as they become lovers.

Beautiful story.

Both brothers were vastly different but protective nonetheless. Where they were so vastly different much was the same, and the boy had what they both needed. Basically two halves of the same whole was what he needed and the HEA made me severely happy.

This is a far fetched unrealistic story that is way OTT, bordering on cheesy at times, cavity inducing fluffy sweetness, but I loved it. It is also super steamy.

This is a super fun and lighthearted read. It’s instalove, so if that’s not your thing, feel free to skip this review.
Ryan is twenty-one and on his very first date ever, which isn’t going very well. Will and Logan had been watching that cutie since he came through the door of the bar and decided to rescue him.
Logan and Will, who are brothers by the way (might be important to some people), start arguing about who is going to ask the boy of their dreams out.
Their solution? Both.
Ryan isn’t shy about dating them both; he’s thrilled. He’s such a fucking lovable character; I want to bundle him up in blankets and feed him sweets all day. Anyhow, they date, and then they talk about expectations and how Ryan is a virgin, and they take it slow-ish. It’s instalove, guys, so taking it slow means they start with kissing and handjobs and work up to full-on threesomes in only about a month or so.
And then Ryan gets fired by his homophobic boss, but it’s alright, because he can move in with his boyfriends, which he does. And more cute moments and more sex, and the end.
I enjoyed this drama-free book very much. It’s well written, the characters are fun, and Ryan is adorable!! The sex scenes are just spicy enough. Ryan likes dirty talk; the brothers love his filthy mouth. There is double penetration of the one hole, two dicks kind, but it’s still not incest, because Will and Logan are not in love with each other.
This one is for everyone who needs something fluffy and soft that makes your heart feel warm.

2.5 Stars. I wanted to love this book so much! I adore MMM romance, and I’ve heard so many good things about Marx and her books. The taboo/kinky aspect of the relationship added to the hype as well. I don’t mind insta-love and fluff, but this story really didn’t have any substance at all. Everything was perfect all the time, and no one could do any wrong. I’d expect some sort of jealousy or arguments between the characters about SOMETHING! But the only conflict came from outside sources directed at Ryan, and the only purpose it seemed to serve was to get a reaction out of Will and Logan. I also had to keep flipping back to see who’s point of view I was reading, as they didn’t have distinct voices. Honestly, my favorite part was the secondary characters, especially the uncles. The sex scenes were really well written hot, with lots of anticipation and buildup. Overall, this was a very fluffy instalove story. Personally, it left a lot to be desired, but maybe just not my cup of tea.

I’ve read several of this authors books lately, and enjoyed them. They’re not to everyone’s tastes, they are cute, sweet, gentle, and slightly sappy. The author writes of insta love, which I know from personal experience does exist. This book was on those similar lines, it was sweet, a nice easy read, no angst, just romance, love, laughter, and a whole lot of sexy sex. I’ve read a couple of mmm books and found I preferred just two men romances, but this one was so cute, Ryan is a total sweetheart, so shy and gentle, Logan and Will could not help but fall in love with him.

I really enjoyed this

I really enjoyed this extremely low angst read. I like the brothers relationship they work hard and play hard. I felt they were more mature then being in their late 20's. Ryan was extremely sweet and he just wanted to be loved and cared for I would love to see him 5 to 10 years from now I had get hopes for his future.
The book had a good pace, the side characters were lovely. Even the small conflicts were handled Smoothly.
I recommend this book it's a nice escape.

This was... weird.
Ryan is innocent and childlike and it's all so bloody corny. Then there is the fact that both besotted over-protective alpha-male brothers do absolutely everything together once they meet Ryan. And the fact that they all have this instant connection and no problem at all with the situation. It's a lot.
The corniness took me out of the reading experience a few times because it was too much, too unreal and kind of dumb.
On the other side it's actually fun and I did enjoy it. So... it was weird and I kind of liked it even though it was ridiculous ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Sweet and sexy ( and funny too)

I absolutly loved those 3 men, so different but fit so well together. And lets not mention the sex... ok, lets mention it a little... it was hot and sometimes a little kinky, loved it!
I recommend this book, I read it in an afternoon as I could not put it down.

Loved this book, it was so tender and sweet. Ryan definitely had little tendencies and how the brothers were super protective of him was so sweet. Uncle Marty…. What can I say but everyone needs one of him in their lives. The best part I think was the way they all talked it out as to how the relationship would work and that Ryan wouldn’t do anything with just one of the brothers. Will read again.
