Time means nothing in a world without clocks. Calendars don’t matter; as the days are only noted by the changing of the seasons. But when your family is in danger— time is everything.
I’ve been betrayed, threatened, and hurt, but never broken. . . it’s the one thing I won’t allow. That was before my family was brought into the equation though. I’ll do whatever it takes to save them, even if it means sacrificing myself. And the men who’ve never left my side, the ones that have stuck by me even after my lies were revealed, are along for the ride. I only hope that when they learn of my final deal, the choice I made to ensure there would be help to protect not only them, but my parents too, that they’ll find it in themselves one last time to forgive me.
The only absolutes that I have would be that I will risk it all to keep my people safe. Even if it meant that I’m left forsaken in the end.
I really loved reading this series and the final book was worth the wait. Firstly I was excited to see that I found a series that I didn’t need to read the previous series to understand the dynamics. Even each book gave you a refresher of the previous book but still stayed on story. The writing was amazing.
Hope was definitely strong but she had a lot to figure out when it came to the guys. Especially Eidric and Terrance. You could tell she cared for them but because Nate and Sparx weren’t super comfortable with either she kept them at arms length despite her feelings. She didn’t want to intentionally cause problems and I loved that about her.
Hope also struggled with her growing power. The stronger she got the more frequent she had to eat. He blood lust becoming so strong that she had to lean on Terrance to bring her back. But because of that connection it drew Terrance And Hope closer. It also gave Eidric an in as well. They used themselves to bring Hope back from the brink of losing herself.
By the end Hope, Nate, and Sparx move back the Hybrids outpost and learn to make things work amongst them. With the 5 of them they grow closer. The guys develop a relationship amongst themselves. As well as developing an important dynamics between them.
I kind of hope to see more of this world but at the same time I am satisfied with ending as well.
I’m sad this series has ended. I kind of wish there was one more book. Even though everything was wrapped up basically, I want more! I’m so glad everything worked out. Even though you know it will you still have a heart pounding moment where maybe it won’t. Although I thought maybe Hope would have more in her harem that included Macio the tease we got from thinking he would be added sadden me. Not because I really wanted him added, but that he was such a good side character I thought he’d be left bringing he was left behind. I’m happy he found his love in Carlos and maybe José. I think that’s maybe why I want to see another book that’s in the future with seeing Macio maybe having more. Maybe even Jenee and Ezekiel grown. Also wouldn’t hurt to see Hope and her harem having, or starting a family. This series was amazing and I’m glad I finally gave it a try.

4.5 for the whole series - the missing point 5 is due to the short epilogue. I didn't want it to eeennndd.
This was good, it scratch my zombie itch LOL. The pacing, the tension, the character building, the plot were all chef's kiss. I suggest to read the Revel and Rot series first before starting with Forsaken Hope to better understand the world. It is dual POV - between the main character of the Revel and Rot series and the Hope and this last book tied up the whole series. I liked it and I wish it didn't end. This is a zombie apocalypse, dystopian RH with a splash of vampirism.

This was a fabulous series from start to finish. A unique plot and fantastic characters. The relationships were super slow moving mostly non existent until the last book.
If I could give this book more stars I would. This book is everything you are looking for, and I don't care how old you are—you're going to want to be Hope when you grow up.
