Writing is my life! I go to sleep thinking about my characters and I wake up thinking about my plot. When I craft my novels, I shoot for growth. I ask myself “How am I going to outdo myself this time?”. My stories are meant to be realistic. I want for you to have a connection to the characters. The beginning was a little too explicit, but this we the first book in a long time to captivate me. I haven’t ignored responsibilities and stayed up late to finish a book in awhile.

Must Read
Loved this story. These girls all had some type of issues they were dealing with. Trina was too far gone for any type of help. She honestly worked my nerves out of the three of them. She needed help and instead of admitting it she made it seem like everyone was so jealous of her. Chyna made a decision she felt was best because of what happened to her and I couldn’t fault her. I felt so bad for her. Rah’Quell was a sweetheart. Truths that were revealed to her were crazy. I was shocked. The fellas in this were something else. Ronnie didn’t deserve to be treated the way he was. He was a good dude. I loved Ty! He went hard for Rah’Quell. He played no games when it came to her. Tino had his moments where I didn’t like him, but he made up for it at the end. He knew what he had to do before he went for who he wanted.

A must read!!!
Welcome back!!! This was definitely a emotional storyline... a page turner that I couldn’t stop reading.... Each girl had issues. I don’t think Trina was a bad person, she was just doing what her mom put in her head and was trying to make a life the only way she knew how.. of course Karma is something else but she was fighting her own demons... China I love and she also went through a lot but she was the strongest out of the girls and I loved her growth and she didn’t give up on life and I’m glad that Tino got his mind together and I totally understood where he was coming from with them both needing to get their lives and growth together in order to be great for each other.... Rocky was the baby out the crew and I’m glad she had China and most definitely Ty to help see her worth... I also love that she didn’t allow anything to stop her focus.... definitely a banger!!!!

Grown Folks Statues
Omg where is one to begin when your mentor from a far AUTHOR takes a year off and come back with vengeance!!! from the beginning to end I was attached. These three women were real life everyday women.Trinia I felt her faith coming being she was use to using what she had to get what she wanted,she couldn’t see what she had to appreciate it. There are so many Chynas in the world can’t talk about what goes on behind closed doors. Chyna displayed courage growth and showed there’s still a chance to do it right. Rocky is who I connected with the most. Just a girl wanting to have her happy ending and not settling or loosing herself to get it. They say men only change for that 1 woman I’m glad Chyna and Rockey were those women. I just knew I was going to have to dig into the keyboard and rearrange Tino’s face, but shoot ain’t nothing like a grown man that’s willing to walk away and return all the way correct yes Tino. Ty from the jump was that knight and shining and was a grown man not a lil boy as he stated and knew he had a diamond worth diving for and holding on to. 5 ⭐️ isn’t enough I give her return and work 10 Stars ⭐️ GO AUTHOR DANIELLE MARCUS!!

Phenomenal
This book lived up to its name. Danielle has a way with grabbing her readers attention and taking them on a ride. In this full length novel, she left nothing out! I’ve never been so wrapped up with characters... I mean... I felt every emotion they went through! Trina... let’s just say ...she had a rough life and never stopped to enjoy the good. Her selfish behavior came with a price. Chyna... now that was my favorite! I was rooting for her and when Tino stepped in the picture, I was sold!!!!! Yes he had skeletons, but who doesn’t!!! And Rocky (rahquel)... well, she had to grow on me! And boy, she did just that!!!! Her development wasn’t your typical “hood glow up!” She ALWAYS wanted
more and presented herself as such! Ty definitely caught me by surprise. I thought he’d destroy Rocky but....(well, you gotta read to find out what happens with them. )All in all... this was the best I’ve read from Danielle. Her growth is beyond her time and I believe this is a best seller! The pace, drama, suspense, heartbreak and.... RECKLESS behaviors kept me engaged and wanting more! Great ending!
This story centered around three girlfriends from the hood who tried to take life on by storm. They were all reckless in the choices they made, but on three different levels. Trina was definitely the Holiday who did anything for money; even ruined her son's life. Now Chyna, I saw her as the abused child from the hood. Her upbringing surpassed anything a child should endure, and for that she was scared and afraid to commit. Rah'Quell was the naive one. She loved to hard at first sight and always got hurt in the end. While this story takes you through different levels of drama, it was exciting and interesting. I loved that China and Rocky was able to get it together, but I just knew Trina was sliding down a slippery slope. If you're looking for a good read I highly recommend this book. The author did a great job with storyline keeping the reader engaged from the beginning to end. Great job Danielle Marcus.

Good read
Trina, Rocky, and Chyna went through so much through adolescence. Trina’s decisions as a teen led her to never truly open up for man. She had it all as an adult but years of not allowing herself to truly love was fatal. Rocky was a sweet girl. She learned a hard lesson young when she lost her baby and her boyfriend even if he was no good. She deserved a good man. Then came Ty. He seemed like a disaster waiting to happen but they were good for each other. Chyna and Tino put each other through the ringer with the Cat and Mouse games they played for over a decade. They stuck it out in the end. Great read!

Young and Reckless is definitely the right title for this story rape, molestation and prostitution all before. They were 18, and Trina, Rocky, and Chyne have been through hell all their lives. They were so young and lost dealing with so many things in their young lives. I'm so happy that they got their happy ending except Trina. Unfortunately, she had failed victim to her bad life choices. I wish she would've opened her eyes before it was too late! All in all, this was a great story that dealt with real-life issues that many young females are dealing with. This was my 1st book by this author, but it won't be my last! Great Book

This book was very different than the other book's I've read from this author. She took you through childhood issues with these young ladies all the way too their adult hood issues. Trina should have slowed her road before things got that out of hand for her. What ever happens to Rocky ex boyfriend. Tino and chyna relationship was the craziest like he rally did want to d do right by her, but I didn't see the whole wife and kid come to light. Overall this was a nice read

So good!
Been waiting on this author to release for a while and the 1st thing she releases is 🔥🔥🔥🔥. I tried my best to take my time and read this story but I just couldn't put it down... Every situation the girls went through were relateable... Im so happy Rocky and Chyna got their happy ever after and Trina I want to feel bad for her buuut I don't. GREAT job Danielle can't wait to see what's next!!!!

This has to be one of my top 5 for 2018... I literally read this book within a day .... with most books they are so predictable.. nothing in this plot was predictable... she had me from beginning to the end ... it’s as if I had a personal relationship with each character ... Rollercoaster ride
Omg I loved Rah’Quell the most. And her and Ty are my second favorite. Tino and Chyna...they put me through it. I’ll miss them. Trina devastated me. They all got on my nerves but I loved the ride. Glad to see my favorite favorite back in the game. You sure this is a stand-alone though? Lol

The Young and Crazy!!
This book right here was something else! The characters were amazing in my eyes. Each female had a story behind their ratchet behavior. This is real life
Reading this book I felt every moment. This is exactly how the streets of Detroit are. You win some, you lose some. Us good girls so often fall for the bad guys. And it causes us to question our loyalty to ourself, simply because we know the plans we thought we had. But this book proves that the universe is truly in control of our destiny. This was great!!!

Great read
This was my first book from this author and it was so good and kept my attention. I enjoyed the drama and how everything played out. I look forward to reading more of her work. The only problem I had was that the timeline was off in the book but it didn't take away from the story at all.

Ok read, I felt some of it was rushed and in some parts of the story I was a lil lost...don’t get me wrong it was good book for the author to have been out for a year..all three girls had some real deal serious issues!!!
