Lost Gold

Rate this book
Tom McAllister has had a lot of disappointment and heartache in his short life. That much pain can change a man by hardening his spirit and making him feel as if he has nothing left to lose. So when his grandfather tells his family a story of an abandoned gold mine, no one believes him, except Tom. Whether or not its true doesn't matter because Tom sees it as an opportunity to forget the past, something that he is desperate to do. The only trouble is, Tom isn't the only ones interested in that gold.

An LE. Oregon/Woming/Montana Western Action Adventure (LG) (TMB - 1)

LE. has penned an Oregon/Wyoming/Montana western action adventure titled "Lost Gold". A young man, the son of a wealthy rancher, leaves home to make it in his own. He builds a family and ranch, but smallpox ends that. He then heads east into Crow Indian territory and locates a mine his grandfather worked on years before. He and his new partner search for gold. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS

Plenty of action with this classic old west tale of mining and gangs

Excellent characters, page-turning twists, old time mining, gold robbing killers, predators, and avoiding hostilities with a neighboring tribe of Crow Indians who eventuality made all the difference. Excellent start of this series...well worth the time.
