Finding Home is the continuation story of not one sister in particular but all three and their families from book one, Finding Tomorrow. From that novel we know that Celia is the eldest who has opened her own bakery cupcake store. Stephanie is recently widowed and has been a vet for many years and bringing up the rear and by no means the weakest, is Anna who is a renowned wild life photographer. These books are told in the third persons perspective and we get a full feel of what is happening in Bluebird Bay.
In this edition we have Stephanie still searching for answers to the mystery piece of paper left in her husbands coat pocket before he passed away. Celia has all her attention on her bakery and entering a competition and Anna has a lot of issues to sort through, one of them being a sexy tow truck driver. After a shock announcement, each sister questions themselves about being on the right path to achieve happiness for each of them.
I love this family. All three sisters are supportive and loyal to each other and their brood. Their father gives them some concerns with his dementia but he is still feisty. This series has a very authentic feel to it with the trials and tribulations they go through and how they overcome situations.
I’m looking forward to book three, Finding Peace that comes out later this year.

I absolutely love this new series. It’s beautifully written.
The characters are so likable and relatable to many women. I found myself cheering them on in this book and wanting to throat punch someone. For me, this particular book was a whirlwind of emotions. I am currently nursing a good book hangover. Do yourself a favor and grab this series by the horns and hang on!! You’re in for a great ride.

This is Anna's book and is filled with so many emotional parts. I absolutely love this series. Anna and Beckett are such a cute couple And Anna grew on me in this book and I ended up loving her character.

Finding Home is a continuation of the Sullivan sisters' journey. This book was mostly focused on Anna's story. But it included a lot of the rest of the family. I love Beckett and Mick even more now! There were a lot of emotions and trials for the family. But it was balanced by some great and exciting things.
Spending time back in Bluebird Bay makes you feel as if you're visiting your own hometown. It feels warm and comforting. This book gave me sad tears and happy tears. It was well written, emotional, and sweet. Definitely recommend this series and I can't wait for the next book!

I loved this book! It can be read as a stand-alone, or you can read the series. READ THE SERIES!!!! Read that again, seriously y’all, read the series. I love that this series is about women my age, dealing with real problems that I have seen or dealt with..... but put into words so much better than I ever could have. It’s awesome to see these characters adjusting to changes in their lives... especially Anna! This spoke volumes to my heart. I can’t wait for the next book!

Sometimes you just need a feel good read and that’s exactly what you get with the Bluebird Bay series! Finding Home is the second book in the series and while it chronicles the youngest sister Anna’s life, you also get multiple other perspectives from the other ladies in the series. That’s one of my favorite aspects of this series; each book focuses on one sister’s quest to really find herself, but you continue to get a story that keeps everyone else front and center as well. Bluebird Bay is such a charming town and it’s always fun to be immersed in the atmosphere. This series just does such a great job of showing your life doesn’t have to end when you’re middle-aged. I find myself relating to the women of the series in different ways, despite being in my upper 20s. Finding Home was definitely emotional, and I had both happy and sad tears at time. I sure do love the addition of Mick and Beckett to the sister’s lives. Beautifully written as well. Give this series a shot!

I absolutely love this new series and specially this second book. Loved to be pulled back in to Bluebird Bay and live there for a while again. It really spoke volumes to me, my heart and soul! It had me laughing and crying a lot. More the latest - sad and happy tears both.
What I love the most of this book is that though it was focused on Anna's story, we got to see Cee-cee and Stephanie's stories continuations as well as Max's. We got some serious glimpses on other characters too which explained lots of things from previous book.

The Bluebird Bay series has been a rare gem in a sea of so-so summer reads so far this year! These stories and characters have stolen a piece of my heart! The Sullivan sisters are three fierce women who prove that life only gets better with age!
What I love most about this series is the realness and rawness these character present. They prove the love, fun, and adventure has no age limit. LIfe likes to throw these women curve balls and all three handle them with vulnerability and grace that is refreshing to see in the fiction world.
Anna takes the front in center in finding a home. The free spirit of the family who traveled the world and couldn't stand to be in one place for too long. She has an accident while on the job that forces her to come home to her family to recuperate. It is during this time that Anna has to determine what she wants to do and where she wants to be in this new stage in her life. Finding Home is an amazing story about the Sullivan sisters and their very different journeys and difficulties that each one is facing. This story focuses more on Anna and her personal journey, but the authors include Stephanie and Cee-Cee and what's going on in their lives as well. There's some very emotional parts that are so well written that I felt like I was in the same room as the sisters and feeling everything that they were at the time. And those two men who have become important to the sisters? Swoon worthy.
My favorite part of the book is this quote "So if you find yourself stuck- no matter how old or young you are- you can still find your way. It's never too late for a second act." That is just great advice for anyone and everyone ❤

WOW!! What an amazing, heartwarming, funny and emotional book. I haven't cried that much over a book in a while! I seriously cried throughout for various reasons, sad and happy, but so worth the tears. The authors just pull you right into the story and it touches something deep within. The issues the characters face in this book are real life issues that people face every day. I love that it realistically portrays the dynamics of a family, but that they are there for each other no matter what. If you haven't started this series, pick up Finding Tomorrow (the first book in the series) and Finding Home now. I’m looking forward to the next book in a few months.

Another emotional yet perfect read!
The second book in the Bluebird Bay series, Finding Home, was just as amazing as the first book! This book will make you laugh and it’ll make you cry, or at least it made me cry, and that’s what I love about it. Books that tug at your emotions are my favorite kind and I feel like it shows how well written Finding Home is. This is written by two authors but just like the first book, it flows so perfectly you can’t tell who wrote which lines or section. I love the characters and their sister bond is just amazing and what I hope my sister and I continue to have in the future. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series even though it was a perfect stand alone book as well. I’m just not done learning about these wonderful ladies yet.

This story grows in so many ways. I love Anna. She sure did give us a scare. The dept of feelings you have for each person is amazing. I want to be apart of this family. I am sometimes this family. I really want to see the cupcake show and all the designs Cee-Cee came up with. I love a good baking show. Cupcake being at the top. I like that Cee-Cee has started living for her. It's hard to do. I can't wait for Stephanie 's story to unfold. I think she is going to be the one felt the hardest. I am counting down the days till December.

All the feels!!! I am not sure if what I am going through in my own personal life with my mother made this story hit home extra hard or what. I really loved this book more then the first.
This series has been a pleasant surprise for a thirty something year old to find a connection with the characters. Like I said with mother and daughter drama, health issues, and just over all life changes this book is so down to earth and relatable.
Can’t wait for the next book!

I was so excited about Anna's story and I wasn't disappointed at all.
What I love most about this series is that it's a full family series each book may focus on one sister but we get the whole family effect throughout each story and I am really enjoying that.
I also love that the main characters are mature women it makes for a really nice change.
Was the story emotional well, yeah it was, it was also touching and feel-good and just really well written.

I am a mess after reading this book. I laughed and cried .. like ugly face cried, throughout the entire book. Denise and Christine has done yet another amazing job with this second book. I love how they continue to provide us with the point of views of each of the sisters (as well as Max), while still focusing the book around Anna. I have not read a book like this in a long time, where the characters are living a life similar to many of us. This series is no fairy-tale, but rather has real life situations that make you feel like you are living through it yourself. I am excited for the decisions that Anna has made regarding her life and future. And I am so happy to finally know why Maryanne was so mean to Anna all these years. There were a few things I took away from reading this book and that is communication is so important, being open and honest with someone is better than holding it in and pushing you further from them. Also, that no matter how busy you think someone is, they will always make time for you.

Finding Home is part of the series with the Sullivan sisters. It is focused mainly on Anna’s story but has all the characters I grew to love in Finding Tomorrow! I laughed and cried during the story and finished it in a little over a day. It was the perfect read for while we were on the road to a travel ballgame. I love the bond between the sisters! Having lost a sister, it makes me miss that bond we shared even more, but it also makes me remember the bond we had! Every time I’m reading part of the series I want to visit the town, meet the people, and taste Cee-Cee’s cupcakes! I can’t wait for more from Bluebird Bay!

This book, just like the last, brought tears to my eyes. No, not the ugly cry tears, but the happy, joyful tears, and a little of the scared tears. This is the second book in the BlueBird bay series. It follows three sisters and their journey through the later years in life. I absolutely love reading this series. It’s new, different and it’s relatable. You can get caught up in the daily living, you forget that you need to do you as well.
This book is a reminder that you need to step back do the things that make you happy.

I am so loving these Bluebird Bay novels! The second book of this wonderful series features Anna Sullivan, the youngest of the Sullivan sisters. Anna is a bit of a nomadic photographer, traveling around the world on assignments. An unfortunate accident brings her back home to her sisters in Maine, where she discovers what’s really important in life. Finding Home is such an emotional, real life story that is beautifully written by the authors. I cannot wait for the next book to continue following this families journey of self discovery!

I absolutely loved Finding Home! The characters are so relatable and strong. It was wonderful to see CeeCee continue her growth and dependence. I loved seeing Anna's story continue and unfold. I was very emotional reading about the sisters struggles which are very real life situations and problems. It is empowering to see the sisters growth, understanding, emotions, and strength. They are all learning to adapt and grow in new situations and with new roles. I am so excited to read more in Finding Peace!!

My thoughts: 🔖Page 104 of 249 Ch. 14 - This is getting a little inconsistent. I'm going to make the best of it, but it's hard to ignore the tiny shifts in facts. Everyone has issues, and there is the Big C. I'm not even worried because, with all of this drama, it has to be a happy ending. We shall see.
I had several short pauses but didn't note them. I have 2 covers for this book, the original cover in Libby and the updated Christmas cover on Kindle. I was taken aback by the cover change and later disappointed as it's not a Christmas story. You're 70% into the book when the Christmas season starts and we don’t make it to Christmas Day, so I think the updated cover is misleading. Anyway, this story primarily centers around Anna but does a good job of including everyone, I still feel like Celia is the main character. There is a lot of drama and humor in this book and I'm looking forward to the next one. I like how they have a light but meaningful take on such serious topics.
Recommend to others?: Yes. I think this is a fantastic series and I'm glad I finally picked it up. Wish I would have read it sooner.

Really good read and enjoyed reading it now with the Christmas season upon us. I love this author pair and writing books for a bit older women. Great characters (a sister trio) divorce recovery, aging parents and more that appeal to some of us older readers.

Finding Home brought back sisters Anna, Cee-Cee, and Steph from Finding Tomorrow. The main focus of Finding Home is Anna. As she's getting older, she's finding that although she loves her job she misses her family when she's gone. Finding Home helps her navigate this as well as some other issues that came up (that I can't say without spoiling!)
This new series is great. I can just picture the cute little town where they all live. When one of the sisters walks through the door to the house, I feel like my own door is opening. It's comfortable and warm. I've already pre-ordered the next book in this series and I can't wait to get my family back.

Finding Home, the second book in the Bluebird Bay series was a continuation of a tale of three sisters and their journey. This realistic, and at times humorous, look into the life of three women in their late forties to early fifties and the struggles of taking care of parents, starting over, and finding love. This book was more focused on Anna, but all the other family members were very active throughout the book and their personal stories also advanced. It has a “happy ever after” feel but deals with tough topics women in this demographic are all facing. It was a great read and I enjoy these characters. I can’t wait to read the next book, hopefully we will get to figure out the truth behind Stephanie’s husbands death.

Finding Home focuses on Anna Sullivan and her life which includes her sisters and her aging father. This is the second book in the series. I really loved this book...and the first one as well. It's real life. I found myself cheering at times and crying at times. Isn't that the mark of great book? I love that the characters are "mature" ladies. I love that it is messy like life. I love that everyone isn't perfect and yet the stories are so interesting and captivating. I can't put these books down. I am also intrigued by the upcoming last book. I hope we will find out what Paul's secret was and that Stephanie will get peace and closure. Five stars...I thoroughly recommend this series!!

This is the second installment in the story but also a standalone. It still features CeCe in the main story but really focuses on her sister Anna. Anna who is fiercely independent and thought that she preferred her life to be nomadic actually finds that life may indeed be better at home. Anna struggles to let others in but when she does she finds that love is close to home. There is also a small matter of a competition to win as well!

I was so looking forward to this book and wasn’t disappointed. It was such a coincidence that I was recovering from surgery while reading it so could empathise with how Anna was feeling. I loved this story and am so looking forward to the next one in the series. You get so absorbed in the story and characters it feels like you know them personally. Well done to both Denise & Christine.

The lives of three sisters who had drifted apart are now weaving together again as they reach middle age. I loved reading Cee Cee's story in book one, and I love reading Anna's story in this book. Both books cover all the sisters, not just one, but with a little more emphasis on one. Can't go wrong with this series.
