Entering the Conversation: A Guide to the World of Great Books

Palm Beach Atlantic University's Frederick M. Supper Honor's Program follows the tradition of the Great Books curriculum by focusing on primary texts. Students spend six semesters reading and discussing the Great Books of Western Civilization. Entering the Conversation gives students the opportunity to learn more about the contexts of the books they read in these classes. This guide will help students more fully understand and appreciate the required texts of the program by equipping them with a honed critical lens. Each chapter is a unique invitation from honors professors and former honors students to current honors students to join them as they listen in to the Great Conversation as fellow learners and explorers.
