I live in a small town in Wisconsin. From my deck, I can see the Mississippi River on one side and the bluffs, where eagles live and nest on the other side. I live with my husband Dave and dog Buddy. My two children are grown and I have two grandchildren. I love to watch people and that has helped me with my writing. I often use people I watch as characters in my books and I always try to give my characters some of my own values and habits.
I love to create characters and put them in a troubling situation then sit back and let them do all the work. My characters surprise even me at times. At some point in the book, they take on a life of their own and the twists and turns they create becomes the story. Of all the stories, I could write I found I like mystery/thrillers the best. I like to keep my readers guessing until the very end of the book.
Hound and Sara never expected to find themselves married but that is just what happened. Neither knew how it happened and figured they were drugged. When a series of incidences occur to Sara the Moore and the MC family rally around her for support but things are not what they appear to be. Especially when the Moore family starts to become victims. Just who is the target of these mishaps Sara or the Moore's?
Man those Moore men are charming! Now there could possibly be another Moore! WHAT? And poor Dad Bkack Jack gets the bad end of the "family" reunion... But Hound funds himself hitched to Sara "Sassy" the woman from the bakery? WTG how did this happen? He and her don't remember anything! Questions, questions! Another great read from K. J.
Wonderful story involving action, suspense, mystery as well as family and romance. Hound is part of an MC but his family moved so all the brothers are together. They work hard and play harder. Danger has come for Sara and Hound, MC is also helping.
Let me start by saying I love KJ Dahlen's books. This was a good book but was hard to read due to the numerous typographical and content errors. It was a 5 star book but with all the typographical and grammatical errors, I could only give it 3.
Hound and Sara take you on an interesting, and usual read. Right from the start they will have you laughing some, have a few tears, and will keep you on an emotional rollercoaster that you won't see coming. This book has all you need and more with all the twist and turns and a past that will involve more than just the MC and the Moore's. You get to meet some new people and some hold friends pop in for a few. I so love this series and just keeps getting better and better with each one. Can't wait to read the next.
I love love love K.J. Dahlen’s books. Hound was intriguing but I found it to be disjointed. The book starts out with Hound and Sara being drugged, married and left in A motel with no explanation as to why. It doesn’t make sense that Corey Black would have them drugged and married. Also a ton of grammatical errors and typo’s.
Hound (Duggan Moore) finds himself in a hotel room with baker Sara but neither Denver now they got there. As things get crazy. Someone is after Sara and the Moore family but she has family and mc to protect her. Great new book with lots of ties to back books.
