Good read! I loved when the guy read as Malik and the lady read as Marie, Malik’s mom. It was like they were having a conversation and not reading. Chapter 18 reminded me of my Dad and me. Very raw. NO spoilers...
I enjoyed this story and prompted me to read more of Queen stories. That ex best friend was too much for me. Her soul needed to rest. She was so busy!!! On to the nect one.
I listened to the audiobook. The narrator did a good job at voicing the characters. The audio production was well done. Malik and Shana were engaged after going through several trials in book one, which I did not read. The author did a good job of clueing the reader to the events of book one. I didn't feel that I missed anything, well except the action and drama. The sequel was just ok. It moved well. There was a bit of conflict, but nothing to truly hold my attention. The potential is what kept me listening. However, it did make me want to go back and listen to part one because that is where everything happened. This addition was simply to give readers closure. I think if you read book one, you will enjoy this entry.
Malik and Shane made my day. The love they shared had me happy as hell. But, life has its was of throwing monkey wrenches 🔧 in the mist of life. I thought the dad was full of it and Ava and Donovan was going to sabotage Malik and Shana's life together. I was happy ☺to see 👀dad came back and offered up some very good advice which lead me to tears and very happy in the end.
I loved this book. Love Malik and Shana love story. Ava needed her ass beat for putting her son in danger with that lie she told. Even six feet under Lafayette is mess up people's relationship. From the beginning lil miss Amiya had my laughing so hard .. I love this book and i can't wait for more books from Queen T
I'm so happy for Mayhem and Shana.. they finally got their happily ever after! I wish things were different for Mayhem and his dad, but I love how it made him such a great father. Ava was dead wrong for that stunt! Good read!
