Meat Market #2

Steve: Sausage Stuffer

Rate this book
Welcome to Meat Market
Where pain and pleasure are taken to a whole new level.

Steve:
Most people know me as the sausage stuffer.
I’ve worked at the meatpacking plant for years, and I’ve perfected my technique.
No one else can pack the sausages as tight, or shape them as perfectly as I do.
No one can even come close.
But that’s not my only job.
At night, I work the stage at Meat Market, and I specialize there too.
I take all the hardcore stuff, things most guys won’t even touch.
If it’s pain and torture you’re after? I’m your man.
But don’t come crying to me if it’s too much for you to handle.
It’s not my job to care.

Nikki:
I just want my life to go back to normal…
but I’m trapped.
This place isn’t as bad as where I was being held… where I was being tortured.
I’m under protective custody now, but I don’t want to be here.
I want to be hooking up with a stranger, and I want to let him take his anger out on my body.
I can’t stop myself from sneaking out every night, risking my life just to get off, and that scares me.
But the thing that scares me the most is how much I miss it … the torture, and the degradation, and the pain.
The way I felt when I was kidnapped and my life was taken away from me.
And there’s only person who can give me that feeling again … they guy on stage at Meat Market.
The one who never takes no for an answer.

Steve: Sausage Stuffer is a standalone romance novel. It is the second book in the Meat Market non-shifter omegaverse series and includes loads of hot bad boys, plenty of intense hook-ups that will keep you up at night, and an exciting mystery that will have you on the edge of your seat.

This book has a HEA for the couple, but there is a cliffhanger ending for the overarching series storyline.

This is a great second book in the Meat Market series. The evil Packers gang here. And the BDSM of Meat Market Club is back in all it's glory. This book (and series) is not for the faint of heart. Although there is no bloodletting, the sadism is graphic. There is off-screen sadism, kidnapping, implied rape and violence as well. There is sounding, restraints, viscous paddling subspace, and aftercare. All you could want. However, this book makes no judgements; either of the men, how they're wired, or their kinks.
Steve is a resident sadist at Meat Market. He believes he is devoid of feeling; living only for the fear of the subs he scenes with. Until he meets Nikki. Nikki was kidnapped and "trained" in all manner of pain, so he could be sold into sexual slavery. One problem: Nikki is a born masochist, he just wants to be free to choose his Master. When he escapes and talks, he winds up in protective custody. Through a series of events & bravery on Nikki's part, these two men meet. The connection is immediate, shocking Steve, who doesn't "feel".
The sex is a raw combination of pain/pleasure. It is what both men crave. They make an unlikely couple, but it works for them. It's as HEA as they can expect.
This book is a cliffhanger. Steve decides to join the fight to take down the men who hurt Nikki. Where will it all lead?
This book contains adult themes and language, BDSM, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.

I really did not know how I was going to like this book. It seemed like it was going to be dark, but as usual with these stories these men have an incredible connection.

Steve works at the plant and the market. He gets into a lot of trouble being going to far. The bar can not find a sub who wants to deal with what Steve wants to dish out. In a way he just wants someone to want him for him.

Nikki we have met before, and as usual is up to no good, but not bad either. As it turns out Nikki is lonely, he is being held by the police and Greg is his only contact. Nikki finds his way to the tunnels and overhears some information. He decides to go back and plan for another time.

By luck of the draw, Nikki gets out to the tunnels, and makes his way to the bar. He fears he may have been seen and escapes inside with his mask. When he sees the scene taking place on the stage he feels he needs to get up there. When the current sub can take no more he runs up to take his place. Steve sees him and thinks this is the guy who can handle what he needs.

What follows is a story of intrigue, love and finding that special person that makes you whole.

It does help to know the beginning of the story so you will want to read the previous titles. It really draws you in!

I was given an arc for an honest review.

Steve is not your typical Dom. He's an absolute sadist and lately he's been unsatisfied with the subs at the Meat Market club. He despairs of ever finding one who can take what he so desperately needs to dish out.
Nikki is in protective custody with the police because he was kidnapped and the police suspect omegas are being preyed on in the Meat Market.
He sneaks out to the Meat Market and meets Steve.
They have an intense, public scene.
Steve is elated to discover Nikki is not only capable but eager to handle him at his most sadistic.
He's also terrified because he's never actually felt any type of romantic emotions and now he's definitely feeling things towards Nikki.
They get their HEA but the book ends on a HFN as the story will continue.

Indulgently Kinky

I choose this rating because nothing less is unacceptable. I loved everything about this book and recommend it to all the other kinky readers like me who love pain and suffering and can still sleep at night. Need Book 3 ASAP Xander.
