Stephanie Hudson is a #1 Amazon bestselling Author. She had dreamed of being a writer ever since her obsession with reading books at an early age. What first became a quest to overcome the boundaries set against her in the form of dyslexia, has turned into a life's dream.
Afterlife is the first book in the series of 12 books, with the story of Keira and Draven becoming ever more complicated in a world that sets them miles apart. The Transfusion Saga will also be a 12 book series once book 12 is released in May 2021. Other spin -off books and series are also available with lots more planned.
When not writing, Stephanie enjoys chatting with her fans and spending time with her friends. Being with her loving family as much as she can including her wonderful daughter Ava, sons Jack and Halen and supportive husband and personal muse Blake, who is there for her no matter what.
Draven's point of view did not disappoint. This one was more fast paced than the first and I liked it. Perhaps if Stephanie decides to do another she could pick and choose the best scenes instead of the whole book. Like I want to know what he thought when she was presented on stage in the club and during the time she with Lucius and sigurd and when he first made the crazy decision to tell her he died and torture himself. It was awesome and I would recommend for everyone who loves afterlife to read. Thanks so much Stephanie!
*WARNING* book 3 isn't available which may cause PTSD
As the title of this review reads...book 3 isn't available 😢 I'm telling you because the withdrawal from finishing book 2 sixty seconds ago has already begun😱
Book 1 left the relationship on the precipice of defeat! I know...I know...Steph is just rude like that! Yet we all came back so obviously her formula works right🤦♂️! ANYWHOOZLE...ok, so book 2 basically guides Draven through the biggest of mysteries. I am of course talking about the human female! He's a frickin King with a buttload of sexual frustrations and let's not forget possessive tendencies and her🤔 well....she's Queen of the Oblivious Klutzy & Emotionally Scarred so his work is cut out for him!
Does Draven seriously think he has a chance with a human? Could Kiera seriously accept his truths? Can Kiera relinquish hers past demons? And most importantly...will her past demons relinquish her😱😱😱😱
Don’t get me wrong, I’m still a huge fan of this series. But I made the mistake of reading the special edition… I thought: “Yummy! I get both Keira’s and Draven’s POV! Actually, it wasn’t so yummy…🫤 You end up reading the same thing twice without having anything really significant added to the story.
I loved the descriptions of the love making scenes from Draven’s POV, though!! Super super hot!!!🔥🔥🔥
Another negative aspects: - The damn grammar mistakes. Sometimes I wonder if they can be really seen as typos. I mean, you get them too many times for them to be considered typos… - And the stupid bad-wrong-awful translations of the sentences Draven uses?!?! The translations both in Spanish and French, they were so BAD (I cannot speak for the other languages… but I wonder…)!!!! OMG!!!! I cringed so many times!!!!…
I should have stuck to the simple edition… So my advice to the fans of the series: go for the simple edition. Almost 700 pages when you can do it in half?… Meh…
Absolutely loved this book. Reading from Dominic Draven POV was brilliant as i might have a little crush on this man and how totally domineering he is with Keira, and the love that he has for her. Stephanie never cease to amaze me with her story telling and how i was transported back into the Afterlife world.A world i love and reading this has made me want to pick them back up and read them all over again.I never get tied of the paranormal world that Stephanie creates and i find myself lost in this story where i never want it to end. Can't wait now for the next book from Draven's POV as this sexy demon does it for me ALL THE TIME.
I enjoyed reading dravens POV it really shows and explains his reasons for how he acted in the original books and how he acted aloof was just a show, cant wait to read more books from stephanie
I really enjoyed reading This book from Draven's POV. It pieced together alot of the loose ends for me on why Draven acted the way he acted when it came to Kiera. I cant wait to see what Stephanie has in store for us next time.
Okay this one and the first Draven's Afterlife King of Kings book, was kind of a disappointment. After reading Afterlife book 1, I found myself skipping Keira's look on things because I had already read them. In this book I was wishing that the first book of Afterlife was written like this one, where you have things happening at the same time with Draven and Keira's point.
So if you don't want to skip chapters, do not read Afterlife book 1 first because with the King of Kings special edition covers everything in Draven's and Keira's point at the same time, not just in Keira's that is Afterlife.
It was enlightening to read his point of view. At the end, more to came, worries. We could understand the greater importance of being King and what that came with, though one thing above all the love for his Electus. Great read and going to continue to read the Saga Very addictive.
I bought the special edition of this book too but wish I had just read the version from dravens POV only. In this book the chapters from dravens POV were mainly the same as the original book just with his thoughts instead of Keira’s. This meant reading the same thing twice for the majority of the book. I’d bought the special edition as with dravens afterlife it helped to place his thoughts into the timeline but with this one it wasn’t really needed
It was very satisfying to be able to fill in the blanks of how Dominic and Kiera were really feeling. When Dominic finally let go with Korea was a very memorable moment. You can feel what he feels. Stephanie is that good! I am now all caught up and just waiting for more of the saga to continue.
Both series from Keira and Dominic's point of view are wonderfully captivating and enchanting! I recommend this series to anyone who loves to read a love story that beats all the odds! A love so destined that nothing can stop it! It has adventure passionate best of all lovable characters who capture your imagination and heart!
💘💘💘💘 loved reading Draven's side of things, it filled in a few gaps. Another fantastic book from Stephanie Hudson. I just don't get enough of them. Can't wait for the books that she has yet to publish. I.e Transfusion happily ever after, and Vincent's curse. But Fantastic author, would recommend all day long. Brilliant writer x 😍
I have read Stephanie Hudson's afterlife series saga several times I've listened to it on audible her writing is fantastic it's paranormal so you've got your king of all the kings you've got your vampires and you've got your hellhounds and it's just a fantastic series if you haven't read it pick up the whole series and read it you will enjoy it
Stephanie Hudson has really written wonderfully loveable interesting knight in shining armor/Demon Angel characters. You must read all of her books! Thanks for sharing them with me.
A must read. Another great story for this even greater series. Love the storyline and the characters. Kiera and Dom are a great couple with such a thrilling and adventurous life. It never gets boring. Loved it
The Afterlife saga and here with Draven’s POV, I have enjoyed the whole series. Even the gut wrenching sob worthy moments. I’m sad to be leaving their story but excited to read Lucius’s story.
Would recomend all the series by this Author , she takes you into a whole new world that will bring you many different emotions, and im very excited to hear there is many more books being written thank you
I choose this rating because I thoroughly enjoyed so much that I'm rereading the entire series.Draven and Keira are what makes the story along with all the other characters.
You should.first read the first few books of the afterlife saga in order to fully enjoy this book. I loved reading draven's pov bc it explains so many questions that I didn't even know I had. Steamy and action packed it was a great read
I love these books anything Draven ,friends, family, or business. I have enjoyed them and have read them again and again. It captured my attention and am forever grateful I found them ..Stephanie thank you for kicking up the imagination!! Its a true pleasure
The book held delightful details from both characters which enabled the reader to clearly see what was happening from both sides of the main characters. Lots of romance, suspense, and graphic details to keep the reader interested.
The author again did a lot of back n forth between characters sometimes going back a day or 2 at a time which makes things drawn-out. I don't think you would understand this book without reading the first.
Reading the story of Afterlife in Dominic Draven's words was exciting! I love all his deep descriptions of what was happening around them. Will read book 2 next. Thank you Stephanie Hudson for your brilliant mind!
Amazing book, so good to see it all from dravens perspective. Incredible writing as always Steph. I could read the whole afterlife series from his perspective
I really hope additional books from Dravens view come out. I love the series and being able to reread the same events with new view points is AMAZING!!!
I really enjoy it when an author gives us other POVs, in some books it just gives you the inner thinking of the other main character, but this book gave you that and so much more...
