Colt and Mariah have known each other their entire lives.
Mariah is the little sister of Colt’s best friend. The way he treats her is like having an additional brother for Mariah, he’s always looked out and protected her.
However Colt’s feeling are anything but a sibling relationship. He has always had strong feelings for her but could never act on them because he didn’t want to ruin the friendship with his best friend or the friend/business relationship he has with Mariah’s father.
Mariah has always held a candle for Colt and her feelings became stronger when she gave her virginity to him 5 years ago.
Since then she’s been travelling the world and he’s been focusing on opening Dream Maker but the two have never stopped thinking about each other.
They are brought back together with the opening of Dream Maker and their feelings ignite once again but he is keeping her at arms length and she doesn’t know how much more she can take.
Another amazing read to this series, I love me some hot cowboys, lol.
As much as I like new characters meeting, I really like when they’ve known each other a while and are still working out how to navigate their feelings.

In this cute “best friend's little sister” romance, Colt has been in love with Mariah ever since he was a teen and seeing her once again churns up all the old feelings. Mariah's overprotective father and brothers vet every relationship and having placed Colt in the “as close as a brother” slot, he has no option other than to keep his distance. Whilst Mariah is more than willing to explore a relationship with Colt, he is more cautious, especially as he works closely with her older brother. It is only when the unexpected happens that Colt eventually realises that he cannot keep his feelings under wraps any longer. Whilst this novel is generally well written and romantic, I do think it would appeal to a young group of readers, probably in their twenties. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

Dream Maker is the story of the oldest Beckett brother, Colt. He is surprised when Mariah, Wyatt’s sister, shows up for the grand opening of the Dream Maker Ranch and Resort. Colt has a special place in his heart for Mariah and fights his feelings, because of friendship with Wyatt. Mariah has plans for Colt, lol. If you’re looking for a fast, sexy story, then you won’t go wrong by choosing this book. I loved catching up with the other Beckett brothers and I’m really hoping we don’t have to wait too long to get Linda’s story, the owner of The Owl. I absolutely love Kate Kisset’s books and she’s an automatic go-to author for me.

Mariah has had a serious crush on her big brother's best friend for a long, long time. Colt has fought his feelings for his best friend's little sister since they were teenagers. When Colt opens his new resort and Mariah comes to review it, they are forced to spend a whole week together. Colt is determined to keep his distance while Mariah is more determined than ever to get as close as possible.
I loved the chemistry between these two! They literally could not keep their hands off each other and it was fun to watch Colt try. Another great addition to this series!!

Dream Maker is the third book in the Small Town romance series. It was a great best friends sister romance. I loved Colt and Mariah’s story! They had feelings for each other but because of his friendship with her brother Wyatt he doesn’t act on them. What happens when they can’t fight their feelings anymore? You get an amazing story!
Dream Maker is a story about friendship, love, family and of course hot, steamy sexiness! I loved hearing from the other Beckett brothers. I hope it’s not a long wait for Linda’s story!

Dreams do come true
Colt had loved Mariah for as long as he could remember but wouldn’t act on it until she came to the opening of his ranch. Then one day she went to his office after locking the door they got cosy on the couch. When all of a sudden the door opened and Wyatt her brother stood there. Colt hadn’t acted on his feelings because of his friendship with Wyatt. I’ll leave you to find out what happens.

I liked the characters and they were well developed, but I didn't feel a connection with any of them. They were just there. The story was good, the plot didn't drag, and there was a simmering of heat, but no real fire. It was an entertaining read and I'll read more by this author, but I'm hoping the next is hotter.

This is book three of the Lonesome Cowboy series and covers the story of another of the Beckett brothers. This time it is the tale of Cole Beckett, the oldest of the three brothers and residents of the small town of Lonesome. He is about to launch his biggest business venture so far, the opening of his luxury Dream Maker Ranch and Resort, which has left him close to broke if matters don’t go well. He is usually the numbers guy in the family and helps his brothers with their investments and other money matters. The brothers are very close and all live in separate houses on the ranch.
The romantic link is Mariah Walker, who is one he can never have, being his best friend’s little sister, and who he lost his heart to years ago, but had to deny his feelings due to his close links to her brother and family. She doesn’t know that he still thinks of her, his reputation has been of a sort of playboy, not settling into any real relationships, ever since they first hooked up, for that one special night only. She is now working with a good friend on their business running an Instagram travel business and their company has been invited to the opening. All the media are invited to a week long stay at the resort, sort of like a soft opening, allowing Colt and his staff to ease out any issues.
Mariah has never forgotten Colt and is glad to see him at the opening, while he is shocked, not realising she would be there in a business setting, maybe surrounded by her family as normal, but certainly not alone and searching him out. He can’t let himself reveal his feelings, without betraying his best friend and with his reputation, they would never accept him as a suitor for their little sister. Her whole family thinks of him as family, having grown up practically next door to each other.
The shock of meeting her leaves him pulling her into an empty laundry room for a quiet chat, that turns into something much, much more! Both of them have had their emotions and feelings re-ignited, but decide they must keep their new relationship a secret from the rest of their friends and family. Her father is trying to set her up with a neighbour who he thinks would be a perfect match. Little does he know what his daughter really wants. How Colt and Mariah will keep their new romance secret at such a public event and with Mariah’s brother as Colt’s right hand man, is difficult to see.
Another great story in this series, with another resident of Lonesome, finding their true love and having to overcome hurdles to get together and fight against whatever obstacles are in their way. I love the tale of Lonesome and the myth, or is that reality, about why there are so few divorces in the town. It just adds that little something special to the story. I hope there will be many more books in the series. It seems there are a huge cast of other main characters to be included, especially from Mariah’s family! I can’t wait for more. I received an ARC copy of this book from the author and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.

Dream Maker is book three of the Lonesome Cowboy series. While you do not need to read the first three books to enjoy this story, this completely stands alone. That said, those books are great so you really should check them out.
This book has both cursing and on-page sex. If those things will cause you to leave a bad review, this is not the story for you.
While I really enjoyed this story, I struggled a bit with Colt. The fact that he loved and cared about Mariah was undeniable, but his inability to convey that to her, yet his over-possessive borderline-alpha-hole attitude frustrated me greatly. That said, my annoyance with him made his grand gesture that much more beautiful. I loved how that played out and the way that he finally cowboyed up and showed how much he loved her. So if you start this book and kinda want to punch Colt, bear with him, he's 100% worth it in the end.
I also loved that the door was left open for Linda to get a book and since fake relationship is my absolute favorite trope so I am very much looking forward to reading her story!

So, another short one, a bit on the smexy-side.
Colt is the 3rd brother but the oldest and he had sex with his best friend's sister years ago and she's coming back home, older, maybe wiser and still hot for him.
Mariah's brother has been working solidly, side-by-side, with Colt putting this luxury spa and resort together, so on its opening day, when she shows up with her business partner [they own a company off Instagram, so they are "influencers" who review spas and resorts]... Mariah returns still wanting Colt, but he is a little wary of pursuit but does get convinced that it's worthwhile.
Of course they get caught but pretty much after they've both admitting to having deep feelings for one another. There were some minor dramatic moments but for a short book they were resolved almost immediately or the very next day.
They got an HEA. And here is a weird thing...we still got a sneak preview for another book in the series but we're no longer with the siblings. There is a possibility that the male MC of the next book will be a "Lonesome Cowboy" to fit the series name...the female MC is someone we've known throughout the 3Bks.

Dream Maker is book three in the Lonesome Cowboy series by Kate Kisset. This story of Colt Beckett and Mariah Walker is a marvelous stand-alone book so no fear in jumping into the series here.
Cole is not the music man that his brothers are but he is the money man. Turning part of the ranch into a resort is a realistic idea that many are probably doing in this day and age. The turn that this story takes in the series keeps it up to date and interesting. You can count on Ms. Kisset to change story-lines up. I have never heard of anyone having an Instagram travel business like Mariah but have no doubt if I was to go on-line there would be some.
I have found this series to be just as romantic as Love in the Vineyard Series, one of my favorites by this author but it seems to have more steamy scenes.

I have found this series to be just as romantic as Love in the Vineyard Series, one of my favorites by this author but it seems to have more steamy scenes.

Great book. Book 3 in Lonesome Cowboy Series... and just to let everyone know its a stand-alone.
As Cole Beckett is getting ready to open “Dream Maker” he’s nervous to say the

The third Beckett brother finally gets his story – and the girl. This book oozes love, familial love, friendship, and of course the sizzle between Colt and Mariah, his best friend’s sister. They have history too – a night together in their past – and Mariah wants more with him. Colt is torn by his loyalty to her brother Wyatt and his desire for and connection with Mariah. Her father also has a suitor lined up for her – and her father’s reaction is my favorite part of the book, I think. As always with Kate Kisset, the characters draw you in, the story keeps you engaged, and the ending makes you happy.

Another sexy Beckett brother. I am so glad there were three of them. I enjoyed Colt's story. He is charming and sexy and kind of a big teddy bear when he is around Mariah Walker. He should not have feelings for his best friend's little sister, which just makes the story more interesting when Mariah comes back to town to write a review on his new resort, Dream Maker Ranch. Mariah is trouble as far as Colt is concerned because he lost his heart to her a long time ago. What transpires is an interesting and fun, very sexy story. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

This story of Colt and Mariah had me at the opening of the book. The Dream Maker ranch is Colts baby. He has been working on making the ranch the best there could be. Mariah has an Instagram Business that does travel reviews on hotels and such. Colt has always had a thing for Mariah as she did for him, but he puts the breaks on starting anything with her because she is his bestfriends little sister. Colt and Mariah have grown up with each others family. Once you start reading Dream Maker you wont be able to put it down. Ms. Kisset makes you feel like you are there in Lonesome Montana at the Dream Maker ranch.

I enjoyed Colt's and Mariah's love story and the Montana setting. Though the oldest, Colt is the last of the Beckett brothers to give in to his feelings. The story is well-written and the romance has its steamy scenes along with some good side characters like Mariah's lively business partner Aves. The only thing that bothered me a bit was everyone's constant mention of the many women in and out of Colt's life; it somehow made him seem less serious about Mariah when they first got together.

Another winner and sadly the end of the Beckett brothers trilogy :( - Can be read alone but you will want to read all of them! Cole finally gets his story and it is a doozy - a long history with his best friend's little sister who is back to review Dream Maker Ranch for her travel guide! It has all of the fun elements we have come to expect - steamy sex (and sometimes interrupted!), meddling family, and of course catching up with the Beckett brothers. Sad to see the series end, but excited to see what Kate comes up with next...hoping for Linda's story?

No Spoilers.... Kate Kisset has made me fall in love with the Beckett brothers but then again how can she not. Her writing is easy to follow with complete characters and story lines. This is the final book for the Beckett brothers and Colt finally has his story told. Mariah is a look time family friend that might just want to be more then friends but can Colt overcome her being his best friends sister. This is a must read and if you haven't read Boone or Harlan's story you need to. They do not need to be read in any order to understand the story line.

A steamy romance from the talented Ms. Kisset. Colt is the dream maker of the family and when he builds a large resort, he’s putting everything on the line. At his grand opening, “the only woman on the planet who was off limits. The only woman on earth he’d broken every rule with” shows up. His best friend’s little sister, Mariah. She’s there for more than just her Instagram business. She’s there to make Colt crazy and get him back.
I loved all three brothers’ stories. Heartbreaker, Love Maker, and Dream Maker.

Colt Beckett and Mariah Walker’s Story is such an enjoyable read! Colt is opening up his biggest venture yet, Dream Maker Ranch and Resort. Mariah has an Instagram travel business and decides to cover the grand opening. Mariah has never forgotten Colt, her brothers best friend, since one time they got together and can’t get him out of her mind! Colt is shocked when he sees her at his resort and has never forgotten her but won’t go near her because of his best friend! She’s doing everything she can to get him to change his mind! Loved this book!
