I'm sure this will be a massive hit for fans of this series but I was a little underwhelmed unfortunately...

The blurb hints at some kind of relationship drama between Noah and Rowe and with the mention of an ex of Noah being introduced I had high hopes here.I ended up being just a bit bored .I mean there really wasn't any great issue here, not for me at least.(they've been together for long enough for a conversation or two to have happened)

The mystery element started of holding my attention but towards the end I started skimming the action scenes,it all got a bit predictable for me.

I think it might be a case of me out growing this series to be honest.Things that I once found endearing about all these men just started to irritate me.And I can't remember how old Noah and Rowe are but I'm guessing late twenties? At times I found their behaviour/thoughts a little childish.I mean was there any need for Rowe to bang Noah into the mattress well aware that the ex,JB,could probably hear.

And I'm pretty sure I mentioned this in my review for these guys in the first book but the inner monologues just bored me.

Once again I find writing a 3 Star review the absolute worstIt sounds like I didn't enjoy this and that's not the case.It was ok,I just think my love affair with these men might be over.

Even though I have pledged my undying love to Hollis 7e6c22cc4c29adb0f4a619d0806b71f1 (don't worry my lovely, I won't cheat)... I have to admit that Rowe and Noah are definitely my favorite couple. I just love the way they love each other and how they just grab life by the balls !!

When I first started this series I never would have expected them to turn out as my favorite pairing, but their book is definitely the one I re-read the most. Now I have this one to add to that, and let me tell you: it is awesome !!!

It has been a couple of years since Rowe pulled his head out of his ass and realized he was head over heels in love with Noah.  He still very much is and Noah loves him back just as much.

No relationship is perfect though, and insecurities are just a step around the corner.  But when Noah is personally threatened, and a piece of his past shows up in their lives...there is no room or time for doubt.

Soon bullets and code names are flying and these boys once again show, how well they "perform" under pressure fcc37b1805a49c13a3f7d3d50b64ed47 Thank god for duct-tape 9f01372377900d9203bc4efe48eb1659

These two definitely still burn the sheets together !!!

I had an awesome time reading this one and I was extremely satisfied (hehehe) when I reached the end !!

Can't wait for Hollis and Ian's book. Though I would be very pleased if Jocelynn and Rinda could set JB up with a HEA of his ownfcc37b1805a49c13a3f7d3d50b64ed47 How about it ladies ???

This was entertaining and sweet.

description

I found it not so OTT as book 6, because it is what you expect from Rowe and Noah.

I might be a bit biased here because of my blind love for Rowe and Noah, these two guys fit perfectly together and their shenanigans never cease to make me laugh. They are two big babies with huge explosive toys and a whole lot of ground to play with.

Going into this one i had very low expectation after the disappointment that was Snow and Jude. It worked, it totally worked.

The questionable mystery premise, OTT and eye rolling moments will never end with this series but the bonds and the codenames will keep some of us coming back.

LUCAS!!!! GAAAAAHHH! i need a Lucas in my life. Hollis baby, it is so unfair you don't have enough page time, like i wish you would, but i am patiently waiting for your book.

Thanks for the amazing buddy read time; Anne, Christelle, Karen and Simone. 😍😘💖Until next time.

This is book #7 in the Unbreakable Bonds series. I have read all the previous books and loved them all!!! ❤️ Each story has a special place in my heart. And every character has his own charm. But Lucas and Andrei are still my favorites 😍

Rowe and Noah's story continues in this book with many adventures, bullets, explosions and extremely HOT scenes!! They are together for two years now, but their love is stronger, deeper.

The beginning of this book melted my heart. It was SO sweet!! But we also get bullets and unexpected characters pop in. Rowe and Noah have a deep connection and are as hot as ever, but when JB comes along, Rowe get possessive and territorial. And I loved it!!

It was amazing revisiting them. They are so strong together, even if we do get some angst. I never doubted their deep connection.

These awesome writers gave us once again an action packed story, many sweet scenes and also a lot of hot ones!! I don't want to give too much away, but I will mention I have read this book on the edge of my seat. Loved everything about it!

Great writing and I have a feeling I am going to reread the series many times. It's that good!!!

5 Stars!

This series falls into my top 10. I absolutely love it and these men.

I was really happy that Noah and Rowe were getting another book. I always felt like I needed more of them and I was very satisfied with what I got in this story.

The thing about every relationship in this series I love the most is how these men love. It's fierce and possessive and I enjoy every minute of it.

These two are really climbing up my favorite couple list. They are just so damn perfect for each other. They both love the chaos their life brings them and it was so good to see them on the same page as to where they see their life going. You can feel how much deeper their love has grown and how in sync they are with each other. I hope to get more of them in the future.

As usual with this couple death and destruction finds them. Shots are fired and are intended for Noah. The cops shrug it off as a drive by since they've had a few recently. Rowe isn't willing to accept that especially when he's already had one love taken away from him. He's not letting anyone take Noah. But Noah isn't the only one being targeted. JB comes flying back into Noah's life with the warning that they are in danger and that their old team is being picked off. With it just being them both left they team up to find out the reason why they're being targeted and to help keep each other alive. Though their first time meeting again doesn't go so well when JB, first time seeing Noah in so long, hugs and plants a hot kiss on him. You can just imagine Rowe's reaction. There was a gun involved, lol. Rowe is not happy at all to find out that Noah and JB have a intimate past, especially when it looks like JB isn't over Noah. Insecurities arise but not for the reasons you might think.

As always we get some great action with a great love story. I really do enjoy the way these ladies tell a story.

Happy reading dolls! xx

I was a little worried about reading this one. Don’t get me wrong, I love the Unbreakable Bonds series, but Rowe has not been my favorite character. To my surprise, I ended up loving both Rowe and Noah. Each of them struggling with their own insecurities and trying to navigate their relationship. Of course, this is all happening while they are trying to stay alive.

No worries, we still get to see glimpses of the gang, including my favorite, Snow!!

I can't get enough of these characters. The Unbreakable Bonds men are utterly unique and utterly addicting.

I was privileged to receive an ARC of Ignite and I'm not going to give it anything less than five stars. It's really good guys!

The crime plot is intense with lots of bullets and explosions and a surprise or two. This book focuses on Rowe and Noah and boy, do they burn up the pages. In action scenes and in - ahem - 'action' scenes.

We get a couple of wicked twists in the romance department. Prepare yourself for a little angst. But not too much. ;-) The love and friendship oozes from this story as it has during the entire series. We are treated to several scenes with our other fantastic men.

I think we only have one more book in this series to go. :-((( I want a kids spin-off! How fun would that be guys?

Well, it's back to waiting for me - or maybe I'll just start rereading. ;-)

A huge thank you to Lori at Indigo Marketing & Design for this ARC.

My review will be a bit of word vomit (sorry, I watched Mean Girls last night and it's stuck in my head) and a bit of fangirling and a lot of truth.

First things first, can we puhleeze get a story for the female bodyguard? Look, I'm the last person to advocate that every single side character receive a story, especially one who doesn't even make an appearance on-page. But I'm THAT desperate and slutty for female bodyguards in romantic suspense...

Okay. So I liked Ignite, but I understand why readers may find the revisits unnecessary. I have not been enthralled with certain aspects of each couple's second books whereas I have truly and thoroughly enjoyed other aspects. Like I will never tire of reading Lucas and Andrei's interactions. There were also unsettled issues among the couples that merited on-page resolutions. And, of course, the characters' relationships are just so special. On the other hand, the drama has been more outlandish, the suspense has read as more silly, and some of the sex scenes have felt misplaced. Eye-rolling abounded.

That said, Rowe and Noah are my second favorite couple in the Unbreakable Bonds series (because let's face it, no couple will ever take the crown from kings Lucas and Andrei). I personally wanted to revisit them because Rowe's grief was very present in Torch and the novella. Mel was a great character, but so is Noah. Scratch that: Noah is fantastic. Sweet. Sexy. Dangerous but also a precious cinnamon roll. I wanted to see Rowe worship him, utterly devote himself, ensure that Noah never feels less important to him.

Here Rowe did all that, and more. I l-o-v-e-d that Rowe's possessive side made an appearance. I'm actually not a fan of jealous alpha males in romance novels, but these authors write them in a non-toxic way. Rowe and Noah's HEA was also an important acknowledgement that traditional family life is not for everyone. That said, I was still somewhat skeptical

Since I mostly got what I wanted for Noah and Rowe, I was a happy reader...and made happier by the fun and fabulous buddy read with Christelle, Karen, Shile and Simone 💚And if the material is there, I so wouldn't mind future short stories featuring these characters. What can I say? I've never been good at giving up (that is for you, Karen!)

I enjoyed this one more than the last. It wasn't as dark and we get some lighter moments throughout. It also soothed my feathers a little after reading their book, Torch. I loved how possessive and jealous Rowe was over JB coming into the picture.

So, pull out those pitchforks and torches again people. My only niggle about this book: Mel, Mel, Mel. I was sick of hearing about Mel. I’m sorry but if you’re going to start a relationship only 9 months after her death, then by 3 years she shouldn’t enter his mind all the time. It seemed like every time he had some type of conflict or something going on with Noah he compared it to Mel or what would Mel think. I’m not saying he had to forget her, I’m just saying I was tired of Noah being compared or her brought into bed with them after an intimate moment or conversation. Especially the whole marriage thing. Maybe the authors’ intent was to show Noah was “more” and they did that in certain places where he did mention it was different and more or his possessiveness and jealousy (I ate that up) but it was like her name was on almost every page. She is mentioned 60 times in this book. At times, it felt like a ménage instead of just them as a couple. I was just hoping that it wouldn't focus so much on her or her death and more on them developing their relationship further. But, I hate dead exes sooo....it's a me thing.

And of course, the romantic part of me had wished for them to feel a different way about marriage. I understand that it's just not them, but still, I find it swoony when couples marry and have kids.

So again, not my favorite of the series but I will still continue on. I want Ian and Hollis like yesterday. But I am really hoping and praying that their HEA doesn't get screwed with....

That's the noise I'm making right now having just finished this book.

I mean, it's my guys, it's Rowe & Noah and they're my favourite pair out of all the Unbreakable Bonds and Ward Security couples but even I wasn't expecting just how awesome this book was going to be.

When things start there's a gorgeous surprise I'm not going to spoil, but there's also a little bit of worrying tension between the guys that had me on the edge of my seat.

I wasn't truly worried these two would ever walk away from each other but this narrative really does take them on a bumpy adventure filled with real dangers and desperate villains.

And, as it's Rowe & Noah, expect the usual hilarity and madcap moments, tempered with absolute devotion and utterly satisfying acts of love...

...and duct tape, code names and stupendous sex.

These two are my favourites and I make no excuses and feel no guilt about it. This book just sealed it for me perfectly.

Now, a Texas Ranch spin-off please with a HEA for JB next?!

#ARC kindly received from the authors in return for an honest and unbiased review.

Gushing and fangirling over this pair is totally my own work.

Ok, I feel like my reviews of these new books are repetitive. Now that I’ve finished reading the third book in the ’each couple is getting a second book’ in the series, I'm pretty sure this series has run its course.

With Lucas and Andrei’s second book Blaze there was sort of a need but still a fear, but it really worked. It felt like a wrap up. In Snow and Jude’s second book, Fracture, I didn’t feel the same need at all and it was a totally different kind of book and it left me really unsettled. I was still on the fence though, I mean, more is better right? And this is Rowe and Noah. This is going to be fun, yeah? Well, now I think I’m off the fence. I don’t think each couple needs another story. I mean, I’m all for the happily ever after extra maybe but sometimes more is not better.

The beginning of this book? I was in love. I loved, loved, loved how this one started, even if I felt a little cheated. I was moved guys, MOVED. But the rest, well, I felt like it was drama that wasn’t needed relationship wise and the rest, I was maybe a little bored and maybe a little knit picky because of it.

It was supposed to feel dangerous but I never felt it. It felt convoluted and forced. I think I was also supposed to feel nervous about their relationship but I didn’t. I never believed there was any threat to it. And yeah, again, I know I am in the minority. I know people love their favorites and could read about them over and over and over again. I think I’ve just grown out of that. I like to see my couples settled. I like getting little glimpses of them in the spin-offs, I don’t like drama in what I feel is an already established, got their happily ever after, couple.

I don’t know if what went down in this one was really relationship drama though. It seemed easy enough to deal with to me and well, the introduction of the past, bah, whatever. I’m thankful though. I’m still rattled by Fracture to be honest with you. So, crazy danger and drama? No thank you.

Let’s talk about sex. I love sex between my guys as much as everyone else but this one, well, it all seemed to happen at the most inappropriate times and it totally knocked the heat down just a bit because I was uncomfortable! Not to mention this was supposed to be a serious fear for Noah’s life and well, they packed toys. Ugh. Just awkward and not that hot.

So, of course I won’t not read these books because, how can I not? But I just don’t know if I’m going to be a fangirl and love them like I did the original run.

The end though, of course, with the showdown with code names and the gang is always the best part.

I feel it must be mentioned, whatever, hate me if you like, that every character introduced in a book does not need their own book. I loved JB too but let him go live his very calm, no guns or danger, life on his ranch in Texas like he wants too. He does not want this kind of life. His words, not mine. Unless it is going to be contemporary leave it alone.

And lastly, please God, if we get one more book ‘second’ book for Ian and Hollis please, please, please let it be all yummy food, fantastic clothes, hot appropriate sex and rainbows. Ian does not deserve anything less.

Two of Noah's former army buddies are dead. JB, also a former army buddy and a former lover of Noah's, comes to Noah with the news. JB and Noah are in danger of being killed next. Rowe will not allow that to happen. After losing Mel, his wife, he will do everything and anything to protect Noah. So, they have to work together to find out who is behind the murders and stop them.

Hmm...I don't know what to feel about this one. It wasn't exactly a bad story it was just meh It is another rinse and repeat. Maybe it is just me and I am getting bored with the set up. I still love the guys and am glad they are happy. I just feel like there is something missing. I'm hoping Ian and Hollis's story is a good one because I adore them the most.

Ignite was an exciting way to catch up with Rowe and Noah and their next adventure, more duck tape and code names shenanigans await.

Things start to go wrong for them when someone takes a shot at Noah and then JB an ex from Noah's past turns up with bad news about old Army buddies being killed and warning him they are next.

Rowe and Noah are still sex mad after two years, they cannot keep their hands off each other, they are madly in love but they are both scared and not talking about what they have is not enough for each other.

I enjoyed catching up with them and especially the rest of the guys and some of the Ward Security team and all the adventures, shoot ups and explosions they had along the way.

My favourite couple in order from this series

1st - Lucas & Andrei
2nd - Ian & Hollis
3rd - Snow & Jude
4th - Rowe & Noah = this is why the 4* rating.

This was my 25th Jocelyn Drake book and I am excited for her new books coming in the next few months.

4.5 stars!! 💕 L💖VED IT!! 🤩 Super-excited as I have been about this latest installment in the Unbreakable Bond series, I was slightly apprehensive because I didn't really love "Fracture" and had thought that the romance was lacking and the plot, a little dark.🙁 But "Ignite" proved to be a lovely surprise,😍. Not only is there romance and passion 💘🔥; there is also a fast-paced action plot that drives the story wonderfully. 👍
In the middle of the bliss of Ian & Hollis's wedding💞; when Rowe and Noah are basking in their post HEA lives 👨‍❤️‍👨, a call from an old army buddy of Noah shatters their new found peace and quiet. On top of that, an attempt is made on Noah's life and suddenly an incident from years ago at a war zone when Noah and JB were both serving is called into question. With 2 more deaths from their old army team and more attempts on their lives, Rowe, Noah and JB decide to go to D.C to find the perpetrators and seek the truth. Of course danger follows them, and they continue to dodge it with their usual shenanigans including explosions 💣💥and codenames😉🤪.
Will they succeed in getting out of this predicament unharmed? 😱Will JB's appearance in their lives jeopardize Rowe & Noah's newfound contentment? 😳Will Ian get to plan their wedding next?😍And what does life look like after the after-HEA for Rowe and Noah?
The story has a little bit of everything; action, thrill, passion, sizzle and sentimentality. Rowe and Noah really are 💘Made For Each Other 💞and this book just proves it again 💖😍 Highly recommended to all fans of Ms Drake and Ms Elliot. 👍👍 Can't wait for Ian & Hollis's story!! 😍🤩

Alright, I'm just going to say it. I don't know whey these second round of books in the series are being written.

Image result for confused shrug gif

Blaze was Lucas and Andrei's second book and that one made sense since over the course of the original 4 books their relationship was slowly building and evolving. Blaze felt like the much needed and rewarding epilogue.

Fracture, Snow and Jude's second book, was a huge disappointment. It was a mystery/suspense book with sex. No real purpose to move their relationship forward. Out of an entire book, maybe two chapters focused on their future.

And now here, we have much of the same. Besides the action/suspense, Noah and Rowe spend a lot of time going through internal monologues of wondering whether the other wants to get married and have kids. Anyone who's read the first 6 books knows that the answer is no for both. How these two have been together 2+ years and never talked about their future is beyond me.

What makes this doubley frustrating is that with the dual POV, the reader knows that both men are on the same page so you spend a lot of time screaming JUST TALK TO EACH OTHER!!

Also, don't even get me started on the fact that an ENTIRE CHAPTER was dedicated to Noah and Rowe having to explain to everyone why it's okay that they don't want to get married and have kids. Seriously?? This felt very much like the authors were moreso trying to smooth things over with readers who want/love heteronormative HEAs.

But on the positive, besides my overall gripes, I will say the book was entertaining(ish). JB, Noah's old flame and ex-military buddy, was a huge bright spot in the book. He really added to the fun dynamic already established by Noah and Rowe.

At first I was excited about more books in a beloved series, but so far I'm not really getting much bang for my buck. I'm getting forced circumstances that are drawn out for the sake of word count only to really give me substance in a couple of chapters.

Sigh.

4.5 stars!

I have to say, this book actually made me love Rowe and Noah more than I previously did. They're definitely, after this, my #2 couple out of this series (although we'll see what happens with Ian and Hollis' book) because I just adored them together in this.

I felt like this book strengthened their love for each other and solidified it even more. They open this book unsure because It causes some tension, but not much. These two love each other fiercely throughout this, no matter their problems or potential problems.

I also loved the contrast in this compared to Jude and Snow's book in that

I thought the plot was a little weak, though. Although somewhat interesting, ultimately I didn't connect much with it because it was mainly tied to Noah's army buddies who we have never met before, so there wasn't that much of an emotional connection for me. Although I did really come to love JB's character as the book went on. I hope we get a book for him sometime as well. (Although I could have done the without the whole past sexual/romantic on JB's side connection as well. It seemed ultimately unnecessary to just ad some drama in the beginning. I think JB could have been just as amazing a character as he became without that silly romantic drama at the beginning.)

Overall this was really good and Rowe and Noah really just brought this story together and made it what it was. They were so amazing together that when I wasn't crazy excited about the plot, it didn't matter too much to me because Rowe and Noah were in it together, no matter what - and there were damn good sex scenes between these two. So damn passionate - and they loved each other, no matter what.

I can't wait for Ian and Hollis' book - and I wonder, since they get married at the beginning of this book, if we'll get to see their actual wedding or if their book will just start with them married. Will be bummed if we don't get to see at least a little something in the beginning of their book of their actual wedding.

Two big thumbs up for this awesome book. I could read about these four guys and their men forever, it feels like. They're so just great together.

Ignite is book 7 in the Unbreakable Bonds series and it's Rowe and Noah's second book. I am a big fan of this series, I have loved all the couples and I have loved the bonds between all the men. So I'm going to keep this review short because I don't want attention taken away from the fact that this is an awesome series. I didn't care for this book, while I still love Rowe and Noah I found myself bored and tired of all the explosions. They both spent the whole time lost to their inner monologue instead of just talking about what was bothering them. All the killing, dead bodies and explosions were so OTT it was ridiculous. Overall this book was a let down but I do look forward to Ian and Hollis.

Can there be too much of a good thing?
With a heavy heart and a little sigh I have to say, yes, I think so. (and I'm sure many other readers won't agree with me here!)

I really like Rowe and Noah and their original book (I seem to remember that quite a few readers were not so keen?). I also enjoyed this one, mostly. It is certainly one of the better ones that followed after the first few books.

We get a little bit of heartache for these two guys, a lot of protectiveness, a good helping of action as always, the now expected silly/crazy code names and ‘arty’ duct tape and some heat and sizzle.

It was nice and enjoyable, but … (and I’m sure you felt that ‘but’ coming on!)
Did it rip me off the seat? Or make my heart sing with joy and happiness? 😁
Or bite my nails and grab for the wine and chocolate without tearing my eyes away from the writing?

Not really. It was fine, it really was.
One of my main ‘complaints’ is the sappiness I encountered (just like in quite a few of the other later books) I can take only so much of ‘always’ and ‘never’ promises.

But no doubt, that’s just my old sarcastic self talking here!

Have fun with this one!

This was good. The mystery plot was very good and kept me reading. The relationship development in this one was lacking though, it was "angsty" due to lack of communication while at the same time their relationship is never in jeopardy because we know they want/think the same but just won't say it. When they finally do talk it's good though. I skimmed the sex scenes to be honest, they didn't add anything and were weirdly placed. I liked JB (Noah's ex) and Rowe's reaction to him was OTT. The book was too long, a lot could have trimmed down which is a shame. Also, where has Hollis been in this second half of the series. Or Ian for that matter. Those two really feel absent and it's a shame. Onto the next

***** Fantastic ! Rowe and Noah are the main characters in this adventure. We have met our couple in TORCH, from this series. We also get to see the other previous crew members we love, at the opening wedding.
Rowe and Noah have been reluctant to communicate their questions, but by the end of the excitement, we will see the answer. We get an attack on Noah,

and the group is alert. Then someone from Noah's old unit of Army Rangers in Afghanistan, JB, shows up with a stunning fact. Two members of Noah's team are dead, and evil is coming in the form of old team members thought to be dead in a botched mission. They are alive, and lethal trouble is on the way. Rowe,

Noah, and JB have some digging to do. It's an action packed story, with attacks,
sniper JB in camo hitting the mark,

the tech gurus weaving their magic, an old friend of Rowe's is called for a favor, and the team is as awesome as ever. We have explosions, fun code names, great gear, planning, traps set, a flame thrower, injuries, and much more. The bad guys are found out and the justice met.

I especially loved the hot sexy times Noah & Rowe are getting,

and the sincere discussion that unfolded. Their true love and devotion are a beautiful, emotional passion to see.

I highly recommend this series. Each book can stand alone, but I've liked getting to know all of these magnificent men.
ENJOY !

Ignite was meh-ish. I liked the story well enough to finish it, and was happy to see a new character introduced, but to be honest, I can't figure out what the point of this novel was, unless the authors are planning on spinning it off?

I was prepared for some delicious relationship angst, in the form of an old lover showing up, and not really threatening Noah and Rowe's relationship, but adding tension (and lots of possessive sexytimes!). We got some of that, which I was thankful for, because the constant angst that Noah and Rowe exuded over where the other saw their relationship going was just annoying unnecessary drama.

Overall, Ignite suffered the exact same issues I had with the previous book - It felt like completely manufactured drama with an eyeroll worthy finish.

Noah and Rowe have always been my favourite couple in this series (after Hollis& Ian and Snow&Jude) so when Snow and Lucas got their second books, I was more than ready for this book! And what do you know? It didn't disappoint!

It had more of Rowe and Noah's crazy antics, laugh out laugh moments, lots of steamy times and lots of heart. I also loved how they didn't go the route of the other "second books" and stayed true to themselves.

It wasn't perfect however, I would have appreciated it more had the action portions of the story (with Noah's former team) been better developed. It felt liked things got resolved too smoothly especially with a villain that ruthless.

Nonetheless, I will maintain the rating because the rest of the book more than made up for the lapse and I just couldn't get enough of Noah and Rowe. I honestly never wanted it to end.

In fact, I think I'm going to do a re-read of their first book because I just need more of my guys!

4.5 stars rounded up because this one was a hella' lot of fun and I definitely enjoyed it every bit as much as Snow and Jude's book ...which I admit was mostly because Snow and Jude but Noah and Rowe are my next go to favorites from this series so it's all good. Hopefully there'll be an actual review for this one one day soon but suffice it to say that the men of the original 'Unbreakable Bonds' Series are my favorites and buddy reading these books with Christelle, Shile, Anne, Simone and usually Josy (we missed you!) is one of my favorite things to do!

Ignite marks the 7th book of this series and it’s been quite a journey to get there. It’s been dangerous, funny and filled with love and friendships, but also loss and sorrow. This time we are back with Noah and Rowe and they were happily living their lives until someone took a shot at Noah. Writing it off as a random drive-by, they don’t worry too much about it. That is, until JB, an old friend and lover from Noah’s past calls to inform them that someone was killing off their old unit and JB and Noah were next on the list. The three of them team up to investigate and find out who and why someone was trying to kill them.

It wasn’t a friction-less team-up with between the three of them with JB and Noah being former lovers and Rowe’s jealous side coming out to play at times. I kind of liked seeing it for a few reasons though. It was never about Rowe not trusting Noah or what they had together, nor was it about causing drama. Because it never turned into any drama, no – what I loved about it was those illogical and messy emotions that we humans have despite knowing there is no foundation for them. It showed us that Rowe too was human. As for JB I really ended up liking him and hope he too will find someone to love who loves him back, but I’m guessing that’s not going to happen in this series. Still he deserves his HEA.

I really enjoyed this story. It wasn’t as “big” as many of the previous ones have been and I appreciated that a lot. Now I’m not saying that it wasn’t as explosive and filled with action, firefights and car chases, because there were plenty of that – and plenty of bad guys. It’s intense, at times emotional and even funny. It has you on the edge of your seat – gripping the “oh-shit-handle” with both hands trying to hang on for dear life. And you’ll have a blast doing it.

Listening to Ignite was a little bittersweet. On the one hand I’m so happy that Kenneth Obi narrated it, it wouldn’t have been the same had it been narrated by someone else. At the same time it also marks an ending of sorts, knowing that there most likely won’t be many more books released by him. So I spent the afternoon basking in his narration, savouring it and just having a great and thrilling time. He was without a doubt a greatly talented voice actor and will be missed.

3,75 stars!

I started this a few days ago, and the beginning frustrated me. I wanted it all. I was dreaming about this day! Small parts was definitely not enough for me. Grrr.

I love Rowe and Noah together.
This was not one of my favorites for many reasons:
-> I missed the team! JB was all cute and cool but I needed my men.
-> I didn't understand the lack of communication between Rowe and Noah. Really. Every long term couple discuss about the futur.
-> The investigation definitely did not catch my attention.

But this is one of my favorite series and I'm totally happy to read about them. Even if I found most of the parts annoying.
Love the final scene!

I do really enjoy Rowe and Noah. This book was fun as always, but I do think this series needs to wrap up. They've been together for over 2 years, and in this book, we get all the insecurities with them and marriage, and kids??? Yeah, it didn't work for me. Nobody cares if they get married or not, honestly. And then bringing Mel up again was just off-putting for me.

Honestly, I'm a little nervous to read the last book, because the more these books go on, it ruining what I loved about the series.

A Joyfully Jay review.

4 stars

Rowe and Noah continue the Unbreakable Bonds series with more heat and more action. This book follows the entire storyline for this series and reading the books out of order would severely diminish the flow. Rowe and Noah have now been in a relationship for a few years and they are more in love than ever. They are friends and they are lovers and they truly enjoy being with each other both in bed and out, but the men are not sure if they are in sync with what the other wants for the future.

The book opens with the group all together for a special occasion, but this book focuses mostly on Noah and Rowe. When the men are shot at while driving, it brings up painful memories for Rowe while leading them to uncover some dirty dealings that go back to Noah’s days in the Army. I always enjoy the personal connections of the characters here more than the larger action scenes and plot.

With one more book for Ian as part of the core group, it will be sad to see these men take their leave. If you have followed the series, it’s almost impossible to pass this one up as the men settle into their families and their futures with their partners, as well as the family they have made as a group.

Rowe and Noah are back!

When Noah's old team starts turning up dead, his ex boyfriend JB shows up and asks for assistance. The boys are off the Washington D.C. More bombs, more explosions, some C4, and an entire set of various duct tapes.

When the government sanctions Rowe to take down the killers, he doesn't do anything by halves.

The authors have definitely been doing more research on guns, ammunition, and military techniques. It shows. There are some interesting techniques utilized throughout the story.

I did want more from the villain, someone more intellectual and devious. Ultimately the bad guy wasn't a match for the skill set Rowe and Noah possess. Otherwise I'm super happy to have my favorite Unbreakable boys back.

It may already be in the works, but I would definitely love to see JB get his own book.
