It’s the eleventh month of the year. After this I only have to get through one more bachelor; one more test of the strength of my heart and will.
One more goodbye.
But first I have this new bachelor to contend with: Max Fisher.
At first I thought spending November with the CEO of a massive tech company would be an easy one. He’d spend all his time at work and we wouldn’t have time to fall for each other. I never expected him to carve out dedicated time for me and to make it so... romantic.
Max Fisher has more up his sleeve than he lets on. And I’m the one who’s going to pay the price for it.
Why can’t love leave me well enough alone? I don’t want it. It’s not why I joined the Casanova Club in the first place. And yet it continues to circle me like vultures intent on picking at my bones as I shrivel up and die a slow death from the guilt of keeping my secret from the men I’ve fallen in love with.
Yes. Men. Plural.
At the end of December I will be a million dollars richer. I will choose the money over love as I promised my parents I would.
And the men who made me into a better woman will hate me for my betrayal.

Oh my goodness! I really didn’t want to fall for another guy! Max was absolutely amazing! I loved after their first date nerves everything switched for them! Max and Piper were a lot fun! I really didn’t want to say goodbye to him! Still rooting for Piper to find love and happiness! Can’t wait to see how it all ends! 🥰🥹❤️❤️
UGH, Max is killing me - not offering to be comforting or open. I know damn well he’s suffering with nervousness or something and even though it’s only the first day, he’s wasting precious time that he doesn’t even realize!
He pulled out all the stops for their first date and with the help of Jackson no less! It’s weird because I thought the men were pretty much on their own, with the exception of emergencies, but I’m glad to see he had extra help as it blew Piper away and (he’s already stolen my heart).
I did not expect but AM SO HAPPY that Max thought to really close off his month the right way... opposite than what the other men did (or didn’t do).
Once again, we see Piper struggling with her emotions and trying not to fall for the man. Max gives her a run for her money although their first date did not go as well as expected. Will she be able to follow through on her promise to her parents and take the money instead of the man? Only time will tell, and she still has one more date to contend with! I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
Max the CEO of apple was Pipers #12 man in the Cassanova Series and seems like a great fit with Piper. He has an eccentric yet sweet sister name Holly and a sweet Nana that he cares for. Would really like to see Piper end up with him in the end of the series, but must wait and see how things go with lucky guy #13.
Casanova Club 12 : Max. I enjoyed this story. It shows the romance of spending time with another guy for Piper. She has such a hard decision to make soon, but in the midst of it all, she was able to enjoy another month of sweet romance. *** I voluntarily read a Review Copy of this book. All opinions stated are solely my own and no one else’s. * * *
Max is a romantic, the things he did to make piper feel special was so wonderful. He is certainly a good contender to be her husband. I am so anxious to see who gets chosen.
Not sure how much more I can say about this series. Love Piper she is a totally well rounded human. Max is sexy and thoughtful. It is almost at the end. Can’t wait to see how it all turns out.
i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the 12th book in the Casanova Club series. It is November and Piper is going to be with Max, the CEO of Apple for the month. Piper has decided she is going to keep a little distance between her and Max because she can't handle any more heartbreak. Piper is also still waiting for her father to forgive her for being in the Casanova Club and lying to them, and telling them they should close the restaurant. Max is wondering if it was a mistake signing up for the club, he feels like it might be too late for him with Piper and that she probably already fell in love with someone else. When Piper arrives, there is an awkwardness to them that Piper and Max have to try to overcome. I liked this book, i was surprised by Max, he seemed a lot more down to earth for a billionaire and he really had a lower self esteem concerning Piper. I liked Max, i thought he was a really good guy and i think he and Piper were good together. Piper is starting to wonder what is the right thing for her to do and i hope she decides to choose her own happiness. I can't wait to read the next book. Great series.
Max first encountered Piper at the reception desk prior to her meeting the men of the Casanova Club members. Max found her stunningly beautiful. Piper had a strong attraction to him and his kindness towards her. November is the month that Piper is to spend time getting to know Max. The meeting is subdued. Piper can not chance another heartbreak of falling in love and leaving him behind like the others she had felt love for. Max has bouts insecurities regarding Piper. He does not want to risk his heart if she rejects him.Their first date is a disaster as he took her to a high end restaurant that Piper felt out of place and uncomfortable. She would have been happy with a hamburger. Their second date is exactly what they both needed to feel like they hit the right groove. Max bought out the midway so they could have supper- hamburgers and take in all the games- which Piper won prizes. That was the turning point in their time together. Max was kind, charming, caring, super hot and a very likeable guy whom you could get lost in. And Piper is falling for him. Max is the total package. I very much enjoyed reading Max’s time with Piper. Ali Parker just keeps you riveted to this series.
The problem with writing a series of twelve books, each with the same premise and a character who appears in all of them in the same role, is that it is difficult for the material to feel fresh. This book was thin, because there isn't much new ground left to cover at this point in the series.
The series has been great overall. Several of the books left me wiping my tears at the end. There may still be one more in the series that could move me to tears, but not this one.
This was a sensationally emotional and steamy new book in the Casanova Club series by Ali Parker. Max is a kind hearted CEO with a new troubled past and harbors guilt for his abandonment of his sister. Piper is almost through her year with the Casanova Club and she has struggled with her decision to take the money in order to help save her family from debt instead of choosing love despite her feelings for these men. While the attraction between Max and Piper is off the charts intense, they help each other through their feelings of guilt and pain. Max is a fantastically well written story filled with heartache, guilt, laughter, flirtatious, witty banter, passion, and love. I have absolutely loved and enjoyed reading this series and getting to know these wonderful characters. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. “I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.”
Oh this series has been so good following all year and here we are down to the final two men for Piper to either choose or not. This month is Max and he is sweet, hot, and in charge of Apple. Piper is wearing thin on her nerves and not wanting to hurt anymore of these men. She knows she must choose the money in the end so she can't stand hurting them all or deceiving them. She tries to not fall for Max but yet again her heart opens up to him and she is leaving with yet another tough decision to have to make.
I can't wait to see what Piper decides to do after next month. This is an interesting series where we follow the same woman throughout the year and watch as she changes the lives of 12 men. She has fallen for some of them but her family needs the money so she will sacrifice her heart for them.
I received an early copy to read and review and give my honest opinion. Loved it and recommend it.
I am starting to feel really sorry for all the blokes piper is meeting, a sea of heartbreak behind her and an even bigger wave in front. I get piper is doing this for her family so it will get them out of their financial situation but what surprised me most is the attitude of her father, he seems ok with the idea of his daughter doing this now he knows about the money. I think piper will choose herself in the end. She seems to have formed close bonds with the artist, the cowboy and the rockstar but who will she choose. I'm surprised that not one of the billionaires stepped in to help with the restaurant knowing this was the reason for why she was doing this in the first place. The guy who helped when her father was ill seemed like a good choice because has the only one who thought about her needs.
Piper doesn't struggle with sleeping with each guy and I'm glad her friend challenged her knowing her plan.
Definitely entertaining and worth a look this series with good characters and dialogue and a few steamy scenes.
Max is there for Piper in an uncomplicated way. She obviously cares deeply for Max, but more importantly he is all in with Piper in a way I haven’t seen in any of the others. As always, nicely written and edited.
I think Parker tried hard to make this novella not as repetitive, but in the end, there wasn’t much content. Aside from a brief conversation with her family and a phone call or two with her best friend, readers didn’t get the normal connections back to Piper’s home life. I suppose that normally bookends each side of the novella. Piper didn’t think at all about what life would really be like with a guy who worked that much. I’m sure his work suffered a lot in that month—Parker could have written about that. Piper didn’t meet any of his friends. The novella was barebones and hardly painted a picture of her month. Did he ask about her? Did they get to know each other in any way other than the biblical sense? We will never know. The only juicy parts are: 1. Who are the guys who aren’t lying low, other than the 2 obvious ones? Who has moved on/might break Piper’s heart? 2. How is she going to tell her family to shove it?

I'm not going to happy unless Piper James picks one of these handsome wealthy billionaire bachelors. I thought no one could top Wyatt but Max is certainly won me over. I have high expectations for the ending of this story. Piper's expectations of what she thinks she should do an d the reality of what we all are expecting has gotten exponentially higher. Here's the thing, Piper is trying to guarantee her family's happiness forgetting about her own and what Janie doesn't want to tell her to figure out on her own is that these men, know matter who she chooses are billionaire's and they can help her help her family and still find her own happiness, I would be to disappointed if she doesn't. I am just excited to see how and who she chooses.
This series is so great, and this is my favourite book to date. I loved the Max and Piper accidental meeting in the first book of the series, and this met my long-waited requirements for Max’s month. Yes, the month didn’t start with the fireworks and parade you’d expect after their first meeting, but that would have been too predictable. Instead they had a odd few days where they navigated through the awkwardness of them expecting fireworks after 10months apart, with the forced expectations making the fireworks a damp squib. Fear not, this awkwardness is soon over, and you are left hanging on for a bit of a rollercoaster ride. I vote Max to win as he’s amazing. I’m looking forward to the next book but I think I’ll be gutted if Piper doesn’t pick him.
Why are these books getting so much harder to read when we get close to the end of this series. Max is the perfect guy...I mean literally the perfect. You can go wrong with how well mannered he and he loves with his whole heart. No half truths or love. And poor Piper, can can't imagine what is even like for her. I've read pretty much all of your books and truly love them with a passion but these are simply the best. I think we have one more guy left and then the big decision. How will Piper choose. I for one can not wait. Ali another amazing story.I give it 5 stars.I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader's Copy
Oh my word....I LOVE MAX. Gee whizz I've actually fallen for another Billionaire. I so, so loved Max and Piper together. He and his Sister Holly have had a hardship while growing up with their parents being so out of it so often that they both he and Holly deserve happiness. I absolutely adored Nana and hope that if Piper does choose love that she'll take into account that Nana and Holly both love her and would like to see her with Max. Another fabulous book in this series that has had me glued to it yet again.
Piper, 2019's Casanova girl, is off to meet November’s bachelor Max, the CEO Casanova, with the goal of holding onto the remaining pieces of her heart. As the story progresses some of the family conflict is resolved, a rocky road is traveled, and giving into change does not have to be bad. Piper’s journey continues to be rocky and full of surprises with only one more Casanova to go we’ll see what choice Piper makes, the money or a Casanova.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
It seems all the books follow the same pattern. She arrives at the different places and ends up changing everyones outlook on the life they been living.I know she is doing this for her family but I can see from the last book with Max she seems to be having second thoughts. She is going to have to make a tough decision.
This story was slow starting out of the gate. I realize Piper didn't want to get involved this month to the point that she fell in love again, so she was holding back. It also felt like the story was sluggish in the beginning. Until Holly showed up with Piper and put some life into the story. Then the story started to pick up and become fun. It was like the lights were turned on in a dark room and then you you could see. I'm now torn and now think that Max could be my new favorite. Ended up being a good story. Read it in one sitting.
Gah! I don’t know who I feel the most sorry for: Piper, who loses her heart all over again every month, or the bachelors whose hearts she’s going to break when it’s all over. I appreciate that she tried really hard not to get attached to Max, but he’s just such a sweetheart. I fell for him more than a little myself. I don’t have a clue how our intrepid author is going to pull off the miracle of giving us a satisfying ending to Piper’s year but I’m dying to see how she does it. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
I really enjoy these little snippets every month. They make me smile, however we are are on book 12 and things are little bit more repetitive. We have the handsome CEO, wealthy and hard working who needs a little Piper in his life. He gives her his heart, she can’t help her warm feelings and heartbreak ensues. I’m glad next month is the last Casanova because I can’t see how many more billionaire characters an author can write, especially in a novella.
As usual there a few hot and steamy scenes and some epic romance. There was also family stuff in the background. It’s an entertaining small bite of romance.
Incredible addition to The Casanova Series. The story of Max Fisher and Piper James will pull at your heart strings and make you sigh. It makes you feel so much for both characters. This is a must read as well as the entire Series of The Casanova Club.
Book 12 in the series and I am so torn on what Piper should do. I always thought she would end up with Wyatt or Levi but now I'm hoping she ends up with Max. I truly liked his character and the chemistry they had even with the bumps at first pulled me in completely. Can't wait to see about bachelor #12 and if Piper will change her mind about the money and take love instead.
This is book twelve in The Casanova Club series. The characters and storyline are great. Piper and Max have defenses they both need to break through. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. I want her to pick who she is going to be with. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Series just keeps getting better to read and harder for Piper
11th month, 11th guy. She vows not to fall for this one. Max is everything though, sweet, charming, sexy and a everything any woman would want. Plus has a bad boy side he doesn't show the outside world. How will Piper ever walk away from this man?
1 more month to go and than a decision needs to be made.
