I ran an emotional gamut reading this. I knew of many of life's horrors, but this was unimaginable. Ms. Moore captured my attention from the very first pages and kept me enthralled. The overwhelming sadness that engulfed me at the end had me virtually unable to move. I couldn't imagine this occurring. Hats off to you Ms. Moore for doing everything an author should...enveloping the reader completely.
This was my first time reading a book from this author. The book flowed really well the storyline was different but in a good way. Laila was a sweetheart and good mother until she let the fame get to her head. I feel so sorry for her daughter then Rashad hoe ass talking to her daughter that was something didn't see coming.
Wow!!! This was a very emotional read. Laila called herself an unfit mother, but I wouldn’t call her that. I call her a survivor. She tried to make a way for her and her daughter. I agree some ways were degrading, but who am I to judge. It seems like she’s drowning with no life jacket. Let’s see what happens in part 2.
This started off being a good book, but as I read I got to the point that that the character made bad choices when it came to making money. She was a mother she should have been a better role model to her daughter.

I WISH MORE PARENTS WILL THINK BEFORE THEY ACT BECAUSE IT'S A PRICE YOUR KIDS HAVE TO PAY FOR THEIR ACTIONS SEE WHAT HARLELIGH GOING THRU THAT LEAD TO HER ACTIONS... STEPHANIE & MRS.
