The Telorans have arrived, and people in the Federation are going to die.

Vishlog is working to understand the Morgana group, and just what he has “volunteered” to be part of.

The Witch of the Federation has matured, and she has learned how to be a bit more aggressive. She chooses to use this new strength...to go on a date.

Will Todd be able to handle the new Stephanie, or will even the Toddster succumb to fear when and if the Morgana reveals herself?

Stephanie and her team need a break, but the Federal Navy comes to Elizabeth, hat in hand, to ask for a favor.

Unfortunately, it requires the team to go active earlier than they should. Will they accept?

Will Stephanie's team be able to defend the Federation?

I may or may not be hooked on this series. 😳😱

I loved the action in this one with Ms E. She's so badass and I love that she's like a second mother for our main, Stephanie. I'm all about the banter between all the characters, but I'm totally loving Bumblebee and Zeekat. Lion sized alien cats. I love'em. 🐯🦁

Better....

Never spoilers but.....

Still going with 3.5 stars for part 4.

As I have said in past reviews I think it would have been better if Steph’s high school BFF had a larger part in books 2 and 3. Now in book 4 there is much more of this character but there are barely any scenes with the two of them.

As always MA is great with strong female characters and we meet a few new ones in this book. The marine team is funny but also had a little too much filler.

Overall I am hoping book 5 and 6 tie things together. I could see more books in this world now that the characters and world building is fleshed out (3.5 because about 3000 pages in and it’s just getting there? Yeah!)

I can also see a few off shoots, large page counts are great but make the books tighter in character and plot development. Maybe MA was too distracted by all his other projects that this one was left to languish with trying to rewrite something like BA et. al. instead of focusing on some other ideas earlier.

Time will tell. Never say never to The Author and his indie publishing group.

Why Wait?

I normally write a review for a serial novel at the end of each book. If you don't stop reading, that habit becomes impossible. I have to wait three months for the "last" book in this serial, so ...

This witch caught my attention by the end of Chapter 1, Book 1. I anticipated that the book would be another nice little coming of age story. What I didn't anticipate was the Morgana. Wow!

That someone like Stephanie could exist, the heroine of two different civilizations and barely tolerated by her own is totally and completely believable when you understand the third world is our own.

Someone did a thorough job of research. The bureaucratic infighting by just one service gives a faint hint at what goes on in the five recognized "services" of our political world equals not just one times five, but five to the fifth power. Compounding that to add the many semi-independent parts of our government, well, it boggles my mind. I've observed only what goes on in one branch of the megalith that is our government.

Well done, very well done.

Mr. Anderle has let us know that the next book will be the last in this series, which causes me to feel a great sadness. That an author comes to the end of the story (s)he wants to tell is totally understandable in a semi-logical world. I get emotionally involved in a really good story like this one, so I hope someone, or something happens to trigger the muse of Michael Anderle. Heck, maybe if another writer comes along and is inspired to write another set of stories in this universe ...

It seems to me that the trainee witches story could be something I would read. With a Megalorian Master, now hobbled in his power by the effort to keep "good" in the fight, is teaching a group of Earth Children, I wonder how much trouble they could get into?

If someone who can write comes up with a story that meets the high standards of the "Witch" series, do you think a licensing deal could be arranged? I can't write, which is probably the most painful experience a "Reader" can experience, because I'd like to be able to do something like that. To be able to tell a whopping good yarn, maybe especially because I live just a short distance from the birthplace of Robert Heinlein, would fulfill the major fantasy in my life.

In the meantime, I'll have to wait for the final chapter in the "Witch" saga and start a new book, hopefully as entertaining, involving a paranormal, female, James Bond.

Now, that sounds really interesting

Witch of the federation IV

Many threads

As the Telorans ramp up their efforts, so does Stephanie and her allies in the three worlds. It’s a race to the death, and one that is a challenge. Stephanie is being stretched in her role as the Morgana and doesn’t give up in her determination to save all three planets from the Telorans.

We see many threads of the plot being woven and a tapestry being completed. I like how we are not restricted solely to what Stephanie is doing, but experience sub-plots involving the other characters as well. They are all growing and it’s interesting to observe.

The interactions between characters is lively and entertaining. I love the cheekiness, snark, outright sarcasm, loyalty, and all the other emotions displayed. Some of the lines had me laughing very loudly! Some priceless gems are in there. Interspersed between the snark, humour, and action are intense loyalty, gentle moments, friendship, and love.

All in all, this series is a gem.

Still loving this.

I’m not usually a sci-fi kinda gal. However if you add some magic and sentient cats... I’m there. We’re getting into the heavy lofting portion of the series now, and while I could have done without a lot of the povs from other characters (sorry Todd and Elizabeth) this was still heavy on the action. I love Stephanie and the guys. They are tough, loyal and fight to win, and while I am enjoying the Telorian angle, I’m still at a loss as to their motives as it really hasn’t delved into that, nor has it done more than scratch the surface about the history and origin of the Morgana line.

Still hoping that Lars will end up with Morgana. Todds okay, but I still find him annoying, whereas you can see the care and devotion that Lars is trying to hide when he protects and cares for the Witch/Stephanie. And yes there is now a real distinction between the two.

Can’t wait to see what happens next.

Stephanie started out as a Character that I liked but my opinion took a nose dive when the character sealed Frog's mouth shut and had the rest of her people use him for target practice. That was just wrong and no sane person would continue to work for her after that was done to them. The next thing which really makes you dislike these people is the way Elizabeth dealt with the network engineers. Abducting them off the street and beating them and threatening their lives is not ok. Then the one just goes to work for her after what they did to him is just unbelievable, again no sane person would go to work for the people that abducted them. When Stephanie talked to the engineer in the cafeteria he was terrified of her and rightly so. This series started off good but the MC has done things that are just messed up and everyone around her acts like nothing is wrong. I want to like this series but the MC is quickly becoming unredeemable in my eyes.

The theme of this book was running out of steam... More of the same, with less energy.

I loved the first book. I loved the second book. I really liked the third book. I like this book.

We see more of the Toddster, and he is growing up. BURT has his own project. Elizabeth has started showing development, and I like what we are seeing.

The bad guys are in the book, but we are not seeing anything new from them.

In the afterward, the author plainly states that he sees one more book in the series. Those of us who are completest, will always read to the bitter end, if for no other reason than to say, we finished it.

Great big book

Good story telling and a lot of feel good chest pounding. The best part of this series is, for me, that the books don't have just one big battle but many. I also appreciate but ending the book and the conclusion of a big battle. Debriefing the reader is nice as well as next book setup. Though I must admit the book is largish and can ramble some at times but usually worth the wait. The power that Stephanie/Morgan's world is great but there have been limits set which is nice as runaway power is boring after a while. I look forward to the next book and hope to see More of Stephanies non battle contributions. Look forward to the next book.

Don't stop the Witch. There's much more to tell

Best of the series
The battle scenes are well done
I see how much Michael
I would hate not ever seeing Steph/Morgana again after the 5th and final book. I want much more of her, her team, Burt, etc. I want to see how they mature, and grow in new adventures
I think you would be selling The Witches world way too short. It has such a rich history and future you haven't even scratched the surface of yet. Hell if I could write I can think of all sorts of ways to go forward.

Awesome read!

It just gets better and better with each book! The characters become more "fleashed" out, becoming more believable. And the reader becomes more invested in the story and with the chactors. Todd Gagarin into his own from being a teenager to becoming a very competent young adult, you tend to forget how young he is. As the reader finishes the book I find that I have to download the next book for my next adventure and these books really seen adventure! Thank you for sharing your gifts of great story telling! I truly don't want this ad to end!!

Just loving it

Another 5 stars and a great read, this had been the best series since the KU saga started and although steph minds me of a young BA their is enough difference to allow for a fresh feel despite the simliarities.
The crime element is a worthwhile addition and keeps the reader engrossed and pages turning.
Only bad point is the next book appears to be the last in the series.

Another good one in the series

This is fast becoming my extra piece of chocolate, the one you shouldn’t eat but do? My extra piece has morphed into “hours awake reading this series.”

It’s a good story with likeable good guys, an abundance of chuckles and some decently despicable bad guys. If you’ve read the previous books, all I can say is that I’m surprised you stopped to read reviews. All others should try the first book in the series. It’s worth it.

Almost forgot how good this series is!

Loved this book. The military action with Todd was great. The long awaited story of Elizabeth was terrific. The Witch was even more formidable, and yet caring, than before. This book was all the fast, kickass fun Anderle is known for!

I hope I don't forget (again) how good this series is while waiting, and waiting, and waiting, on the next book. Not until MARCH?? ;-)

Fun action adventure swashbuckling space fantasy.

This series is a hoot. Anderle is a little formulaic in dialog, but these characters are fun. Very juvenile conversations and smack talk is the fluff that is a common crutch for his writing, and in other series it can be tedious. With this one it mostly works. The usual foibles expected in cheap pulp fiction publications. I look forward to the next installment.

Totally awesome story

Well Michael and friends. Just keep pumping out fantastic books about Stephenie and her team. It's so fun to pick up each book and dig into the stories. Which Micheal Anderle and his band of marry writers. Hah mastered the art of having the right mix of Drama, action, and comedy relief. To creat stories people have a hard time. Pulling their selves away from their book to do other stuff. You know like eat, sleep, use the computer, etc.

An intergalactic kick ass adventure

If I'm doubt throw in a few grenades and see what's left. I love that the explosive experts are referred to as boom bunnies. (In my head all I saw was the Duracell bunny chucking grenades is runs through a ship's corridor).
Great characters with realistic situations and lots of action and adventure.
I,m so glad I refund this series and I look forward to the next one 😀

The review

The review of the mission Todd's crew completed was quite entertaining. A good call. Can't image it ever happening but still it was fun to go over their decisions in light of naval procedure. Got to say I really hate you, and I'm in the bullet train and China and on and on. Soo pretentious. Or jealous, could be

Yeah, still good and.moving along

Liked the Elizabeth, Matthias, Arne, and Amy angle, plus the crime syndicate and what it took to get E to the top.
Toddsters gang of.hooligans and the post.battle outbrief was good, just what I imagine it could be.
Stephanie, her gang, her interactions with Morgana, good.
Can't wait to see how.he ties this whole story up.

Loved this Federation Witch story

Love how Todd is growing his own identity and support outside of his relationship with Stephanie. Enjoyed the bad, kick but person Elizabeth is. Stephanie is getting more powerful at every turn can she clean up the radioactive area?

Long but worth the time.

Stephanie/Morgana really comes to life in this book. Todd discovers that he is a true leader in the Marines and they all get to kick ass and live through it.

Enjoyable series.

This series has been a joy to read. However, unless, it's an obstinate new character, I feel that the training sessions are a bit too detailed when Steph is getting he mad on. My eyes glaze over and I just start skimming the text until the butt kicking is done. Also, I was wondering when describing Elizabeth's new beau, if you really meant "Distinguished", instead of "Extinguished" as written in the book.

I look forward to reading your next book in this series.

Loved the first book! The second and third books were good with plenty of plot twists. With the fourth installment things are getting stale and overly predictable. The fifth and final installment is due out in a few months. Will most likely read it just to see how it ends.

Excellent read!!

Excellent book! The character development continues as the younger characters mature and develop while at the same time the back stories on the more mature characters continues to evolve. This, combined with some kick ads battles yields an excellent read.

Really good book and series

The only problem is it is too good and I could not put it down until I finished after 2am...but, it was the weekend so luckily sleeping in was ok. Really good characters and universe. Definitely recommend both the book and series.
