Wcale nie dziwię się, że seria „Zaopiekuj się mną” jest tak często wypożyczana przez moją córkę. Sięgając po opowiadanie „Anuszka i przyjazna tygrysica” znajdujemy cudowną zimową opowieść, która uderza prosto w serce. Jest tu nie tylko mroźną, śnieżną Syberię, ale też miłość do zwierząt czy krzepiący triumf więzi rodzinnych. To także odrobinka magii, którą poczuć może każdy, kiedy śpi spokojnie we własnym łóżku.
Naprawdę podobała mi się ta magiczna historia, mistrzowsko łącząca to, co prawdziwe (to książka na faktach), z odrobiną magii i fikcji literackiej. Gorąco polecam tę książkę wszystkim czytelnikom powyżej 7 roku życia, którzy są fanami Holly Webb, początkującymi miłośnikami zwierząt lub po prostu aspirującymi molami książkowymi, spragnionymi pięknie opowiedzianej świątecznej opowieści.

It was a little boring at the start but when she went into the forest by herself it was so interesting. This book caught my eye because I LOVE tigers and this really made me wish I was friends with one HAHAHAHA the ending and the start kinda confused me but I think it's like her grandmother or mother or something idk but it was such a heartwarming and simple story which is what I needed to get out of my reading slump. Even though it isn't my age/the words are super big/it was very short I still enjoyed it just as much

Moms with a DVM Book Club KIDS Edition selection for December. Lizzy (11) only read half of it, but I found it charming and wanted to see what happened. Loosely inspired by an actual injured tiger cub, about 3 mos old, found in December 2012 (Russia). I enjoyed reading a book not published in the US (printed in the UK); the perspective was refreshingly non-American.

This is a lovely story that I read with my 5 year old daughter.
We both enjoyed reading a chapter a week and wondering what would happen next.
My daughter was so happy to discover the author’s note at the end, informing us that Star really does exist.

A cute little book about a girl saving a tiger. Obviously intended for younger readers, there wasn't much in this one to keep me going. If I'm honest, the author's note at the end about the origins of the story was more interesting than the story itself.

A sweet book. A glimpse of magic at the beginning and end, but mostly a tale of a brave girl with a big heart and compassion towards a lost tiger cub.

I would recommend this to students in Year 3-5 who love animals.

A wonderfully wintery and Christmassy tale that hits ALL the things you want from a frosty festive tale, heartwarming, triumph and family, this time focusing on a real Russian tiger and the dream of a young girl of what it may be like in a Russian winter.

Star is based on a real story of a lost tiger cub found with a frost bitten tail is a way to understand about the ill-effects of winter,nature and how wild animals may look cute but we must respect them fitting in beautifully with the ethos of Holly’s Animal Stories.
