All for Wesley

Rate this book

A B&B owner takes on a posh hotel developer in this enemies-to-lovers story with plenty of South Florida heat.

The grudge match is set to get nasty.

Wesley and Nathan are willing to pull out all the stops to achieve their dreams.

They just never expected the heat between them to carry over to the bedroom.

After one reckless night burning up the sheets, Wes and Nathan can’t stay away from each other.

But is there any hope of them having their happily ever after when it means someone has to give up his dream?

All For Wesley is a standalone enemies-to-lovers MM romance with sneaking, spying, family troubles, helpful movie stars, one poorly timed hurricane, and all the feels.

This is the second book in the wonderful Pineapple Grove series, but, even though there are some recurring characters, it can definitely be read as a stand-alone. This time it is the sweet B& B owner's turn...Wesley.

your turn gif - Google zoeken

Wesley owns and runs a lovely little B&B, which caters mostly to the LGBT+ community. It is important for Wesley to offer them a place where they can feel safe and welcome. So when a big-time multi-million dollar investor comes sniffing around, wanting to buy his little B&B to make room for a hotel... Wesley naturally freaks out... He will sell his precious B&B .. over his dead body !!!

how about no gif - Google zoeken

Nathan has his own (personal) reasons for wanting to put his hotel up...and he is getting more and more annoyed with Wesley for holding out. I can't say I agreed with Nathan's reason but...who am I to judge ;)

Nathan believes he will eventually convince Wesley....everyone has a price, right ?? Most of the shop owners in the area have already agreed to sell... It is just the stubborn, but very handsome, Wesley who is holding out.

everyone has a price, whats yours - Google zoeken

This book definitely had all the ingredients to make a wonderful "enemies to lovers" story. No matter how much they hate or annoy each other...there is no denying the delicious chemistry between them...which makes for some awesome steamy scenes.

jett black gif - Google zoeken

With the two of them falling deeper and deeper into the rabbit's hole...the question that remains is.... who is gonna give up his dreams ??!!

Even though I enjoyed reading this book, and the previous one, very much,  .... I have to confess that I still like "The Unbreakable Bonds" series better. I am just a huge action and mystery fan, and this series reads a bit sweeter.

So if you want to read a sweet and fun story about two enemies falling in love...you should definitely give this one a go. I can't wait for the next one...Lincoln and Jamison's story.... it sounds like they might turn out to be my favorite couple in this series.

Oh, this one was just delightful, and the best of the series so far, in my opinion.

I'm a sucker for enemies-to-lovers, and this did not disappoint. Was there really hate sex? Not really, Wesley and Nathan were closer to the feelings side of things than hate when they first have sex, but it was still hot AF.

I so enjoyed these two with their sparring and banter, their connection was good and kept me riveted.

If you forgot, Wesley is one of Jace's small business owner friends from the first book who complained about Nathan Randall who kept trying to buy his B&B, which is very popular in Pineapple Grove and something Wesley has put his heart and soul into.

But Nathan isn't the bad guy that he seems to be. He has his reasons for wanting to buy Wilton Cottage and make a hotel there, and they are understandable reasons, even if they are ultimately the wrong reason for wanting to build a hotel.

And these two definitely hate each other at first, but also are very attracted to each other and they don't quite know what to do with that feeling of wanting each other and hating each other at the same time.

I loved seeing their journey from the start of this book to the end of it and how it works out - exactly how I was hoping it would work out.

These two were just amazing together and I loved this fun, entertaining romance. I also suspect our next book will probably be about Lincoln and Jamison. Should be interesting fun too!

Nathan and Wesley just made me happy sigh, and they became so cute and sweet together. Especially with things like "you're my prince charming" and stuff like that that just made me melt. My hopeless romantic heart could barely handle it ;)

Two big thumbs up from me. This was excellent.

Highly recommend!

4 Stars!

While the first book left me underwhelmed, this one really made up for it.

I love a good enemies to lovers story. I fell into interest with Wesley in the first book along with a couple of the other men in this series and I was looking forward to his story and what a good one it was.

Wesley's dream and first love is his B&B bungalow he runs near the beach. He's worked his butt off making this a place that feels like home to his guests. It also happens to be his home. He caters to the LGBT+ community wanting them to feel like they have a safe place to come and enjoy a vacation. But that home and safe haven is being pursued by the "bad guy" Nathan. But Nathan isn't the bad guy. He's just a guy who has a dream of his own and in order to accomplish his dream (and the revenge on those who ignored his need of help in this small town of Pineapple Grove) he needs that property that Wesley's B&B sits on.

Not only are these men fighting about the property one wants to keep and the other wants to own, they are also fighting their feelings for each other. One steamy night just wasn't enough for these two and the more they fall into bed and into conversations where they learn more about each other, the harder the fight to give in becomes. To give into their feelings and to give up the fight they both are still in the mix of for this property. They have to decide if the property is worth still fighting for or if the love they have fallen into is the bigger fight worth winning.

Loved this one and can't wait to get Lincoln and Jamison's story.

Happy reading dolls! xx

I was excited going back to Pineapple Grove, it felt like I was going on holiday.

All for Wesley is about Wesley Blake the owner of Wilton Cottage a lovely little B and B in Pineapple Grove which he and everyone else loves, enter big bad hotel developer Nathan Randall who is pestering Wesley to sell to him so Nathan can demolish Wilton Cottage and build his big flashy hotel in its place.

Even though Wesley and Nathan are enemies in business there is a strong attraction between them and one night of spying (don’t ask), dancing and some alcohol, it gets too much for them and they give in to the passion for one night but of course once is never enough for these two.

I loved these two men, they are both passionate about their businesses, but who will end up losing their dream?

I loved Nathan he is supposed to be this cold businessman, but he is a big softie really the way he wants to protect Wesley from ladders and hurricanes is so cute and bossy. He is starting to doubt his business plans as he is hurting Wesley and he hates that and throw in his relationship with his father, he is getting stressed out.

Wesley lives for his B and B and close friends, with all of Nathan’s persistence to try and get him to sell, the looming hurricane and now all the hot sex they are having, Wesley is feeling the pressure and knows he will lose either Wilton Cottage or Nathan, but which one will hurt the most?

I was hooked from the first page, this is a sweet relaxing read with major chemistry and scorching sex with a lot of wonderful men, I am looking forward to getting to know Lincoln and Jamison better.

Jocelyn and Rinda never disappoints.

Just fab.

This is the second in the Pineapple Grove series set in a small Florida community and the pace and feel is quite different than the usual action heavy romantic suspense these two write together.

I love the ease with which they give the reader a lighter narrative, but without it ever just turning into a typical bland romance.

Here it's an enemies to lovers study where the central focus is on two men both trying to live their dreams but with the other standing in the way.

I loved the organic way these two started to thaw as the insane chemistry and attraction they had gave way to mutual understanding and affection - as well as scorching hot smexy times.

The resolution to their dilemma felt earned and not just plot points and I love the friendship group that anchors this series.

Hopefully Lincoln and Jamison's best friends to lovers will be next!

This was sooooooo much better than the first book, which I didn’t like very much at all.

I was All for Wesley though! This book kept me entertained. I liked both Wesley and Nathan, not at first but definitely not long after his introduction. I felt something for both of them and found their story very well done. I wasn’t annoyed, I was seriously entertained and pretty happy the majority of the read. I loved their similarities and even more loved that they saw them too. They fed off of it and grew as people because of it. They didn’t run scared or over stupid miscommunications. That’s not to say they didn’t run a bit, but they whys were totally valid.

I really enjoyed this enemies to lovers romance which this time felt a little bit more like it was set in a small town.

I laughed, smiled and well, it was hot, ok?

I’m glad I gave the series another chance. Now I need to go read the .5 story.

I love visiting Pineapple Grove, both figuratively and literally, and love the way the authors have captured the essences of the place, weaving it expertly into the story and giving us great characters andan interesting plot.

In this second book of the series, we focus on B&B owner, Wesley, who's fighting off hotelier, Nathan, who has designs on tearing down Pineapple Grove's best LGBTQ+ bed and breakfast to build a huge hotel.
They weren’t friends. They weren’t lovers. They weren’t going to be anything but business adversaries. Enemies.

Nathan and Wesley are enemies who become lovers, and their chemistry is so hot here the pages were practically burning. I had a great time reading this. I can easily recommend both books in the series, but if you picked this up first you'll have no problem as it does work as a standalone, but I would gently nudge you to grab the first book, Something About Jace, as well because it's a great read too.

Dual POV, enemies to lovers romance, with very little angst, a great cast of supporting characters, lots of heat, and a very happy ending.

Wesley and Nathan, they were a little slow going for me at first, even though I am kind of a sucker for enemies to lovers. I've been so ready for Wesley's story, I just knew he was going to be so sweet.

So, in this one, we have Nathan, a hotel developer who is set to stop at nothing to get Wesley, the owner of a quaint little homey, B&B in Pineapple Grove, right on the ocean. Where the B&B is a place where Wesley spent years transforming it into the perfect place for the members of his community to come and feel at home and welcome, Nathan's idea to tear down the building and put in a newer and fancier hotel and his "dream" was built on revenge because of his own childhood in the community.

Now, don't get me wrong... did I see where he was coming from? Absolutely! He had a terrible childhood because of his father and he wanted to show everyone who ever ignored his need for help as a child, that he wasn't someone to discrded as trashy or unworthy, so what better way to show them, than showing them his success.... But, his dream seemed kind of immature, especially when he started having feelings for Wesley.

And I cannot lie, their back and forth, in the beginning, was a little bit repetitive, the first half of the book was just Wesley snarking at Nathan about wanting to tear his place down... I mean, it was sometimes cute and he got a couple of good digs in, but it was mostly the same thing over and over but at the same time, he was having feelings for Nathan and Nathan for him. When they decided to let their guards down though, I enjoyed them together, especially when Wesley was the type Nathan had needed as a kid and it was impossible to see that he loved and cared about his community so much, oftentimes more than himself. I loved that about him and I loved watching Wesley start falling for that part of him because it felt so important.

Anyway... I don't wanna give the whole thing away, but there are some bumps and bruises along the way, but if you adore anything this duo writes together, you'll love one just the same. It's a nice change of pace from the guns and action sequences I swear that I can see in my head, and it's sweet and sometimes sappy and I loved every second of it.
Another hit in a pretty awesome series and I cannot wait to see what's in store for Lincoln and Jamison!!

A Joyfully Jay review.

4.5 stars

I have read a lot of books by this writing team and All for Wesley was light and enjoyable. Here we have Wesley and Nathan with a distinct enemies vibe as Nathan puts extreme pressure on Wesley to sell him his property, as well as trying to poach Wesley’s star employees. Nathan will compensate Wesley more than fairly of course, but Wesley doesn’t want to sell and he’s under a lot of stress because Nathan won’t back off.

Nathan has a lot to prove to himself and he wants to show everyone around him what a success he has made of himself. He’s convinced he can’t do this fully unless he builds his new hotel exactly where Wesley’s bed and breakfast is and he thinks if he throws enough money at Wesley, he will eventually give in. But Nathan has met his match.

Despite the animosity the men feel toward each other involving business, they can’t help but notice how attractive the other is, but they can’t go there. Well, they tell themselves that anyway. After months of battling against each other regarding business and the chemistry that wafts off of them each time they are together, the men finally give in one night. But one night will never be enough.

This is the second book in Pineapple Grove series and can be read as a standalone. The authors are new to me and I really loved their writing. Can't believe I've never read their work before.
This is enemies to lovers!! What are you guys waiting for??

Loved the banter between Nathan and Wesley. I must say I didn't like Nathan very much in the beginning especially 'cause I didn't understand his reasons. But he kind of became my favourite by the end of the book. Throughout the book I couldn't see them both being happy without giving up their dream but in the end they do get their well deserved HEA.

I also loved Wesley's group of friends. We meet Trent and Jace from the first book(I have to read that book). And I can't wait for Lincoln and Jamison's story.

This was really cardboard and emotionless. It didn’t feel at all like the duo who brought us the Cincinnati boys. There wasn’t any chemistry or motivation for the couple to happen, but they did anyone. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I am a sucker for enemies to lovers because it always brings a ton of heat and sexual tension.

This was a pretty good interpretation of the trope. There was certainly some heat and sexual tension, but it didn’t quite hit all the marks for me.

A few times throughout the book it is hinted that both Nathan and Wesley may be (individually) interested in some kink in the bedroom. Nothing crazy, but it is definitely alluded to on multiple occasions. I was looking forward to it, because I was way curious, but unfortunately, we never got to see it. The sex scenes were there, but they were typical and went as expected each time. A little disappointed in that. Why bother mentioning it if you’re not going to follow through?

Beyond that, I started out the book not liking Nathan much. He wants to build a hotel at Wesley’s B and B because he hates the people of Pineapple Grove and wants to say a big fuck you to them. I’m sorry, but dude...grow up. It just seemed so silly and, honestly, a really stupid reason to aggressively pursue the tearing down of a well-run, successful B and B and haven for LGBTQ+ people.

And all of sudden Nathan’s homophobic bum dad changes his ways? Just like that? At 90% into the book? How CONVENIENT.

I liked some things, was disappointed in others. I was a little all over the place with this book and didn’t realize how much bothered me until I started this review.

Oh well! On to the next one.

This is the third book in the Pineapple Grove series but it can be read as a stand-alone. Characters from the previous books are in this book too.

Wesley is the owner of Wilton Cottage. An LGBT+ friendly bed and breakfast that he’s poured his heart and soul into. He is very involved in his community and has a group of wonderful friends that are his chosen family. His mother disowned him when he came out at 17.

Nathan is a successful property developer and hotel owner. He has set his sights on the block that includes Wilton Cottage and the other business owners in the block have all agreed to sell - except Wesley. Nathan grew up in Pineapple Grove but he had a very unhappy childhood that left emotional scars and he felt that the community looked at him as if he was trash. He has a need for order after growing up in chaos and disorder due to a father who liked to party instead of parent.

Wesley and Nathan feel a spark towards each other that ignites during a reckless night together. Then another, as they can’t seem to say no to each other, except when it involves business.

I really enjoyed this well written book. There’s layers to the main characters that unfold throughout the story and I enjoyed revisiting the characters from the previous books. After emotional upheaval and some compromises, Wesley and Nathan get their HEA.

Wesley " 𝒇𝒆𝒍𝒕 𝒉𝒐𝒕 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒏, 𝒇𝒆𝒍𝒕 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒘𝒐 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎 𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒈𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒖𝒓𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒂𝒔𝒉."

Yeah, too bad, though, that Westley and Nathan are enemies. Or,better said, should be.

Oh,they do try to stay away, but they're like magnets, drawn to one another. And I think that they're wonderful together when they ignore the fact that they're adversaries, when they're just two men, letting their guards down. So cute and endearing when they start seeking reasons to see each other. Sure, sexually they are completely in sync, their passion definitely heat inducing. But they also have so much in common, and soon strong feelings get involved, yet...

...let's not forget that their dreams clash. It's either Nathan or Wesley who can have it his way. No matter the sleepless nights, no matter the heartbreak or the tears,it seems like they're just not meant to be together.

Fear not, there is a solution, you just have to read the book and find out what it is.

Everything about 𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐲 is charming, fun and heartfelt. I loved the characters and their romance. I liked seeing again people from the previous books and I think the authors gave a hint for a next possible couple (Jamison and Lincoln, I hope).

Sweet,hot,emotional. Absolutely recommended.

You don’t really have a choice who you fall in love with!

Wesley is a B&B owner in Pineapple Grove. It is a community icon, been standing there for two decades. A pillar of the community of sorts, especially by the LGBTQ+ personalities in their city and those who come and visit from other cities.

Nathan is a property developer who has been hounding Wesley and his neighbors, who owned small business like him, to sell. He has been locking horns with Wesley for a year now, he can’t seem to make Wesley sell. He also has a secret reason for wanting to buy said property, a very personal reason.

This is the second story in this new series by Ms. Jocelynn Drake and Ms. Rinda Elliott following a group of friends in Pineapple Grove. It has family-like feel to it because of the friendship among these lovely people and how they impact each other and their community.

Tales written by these two lovely ladies are always great, be it exciting action or just a low-angst enemies-to-lovers love story. I love the way they tell the story, the characters, main and supporting. They also picture a very ideal community where you can find friendship, support, acceptance and love. I cannot wait to read the upcoming books from this series. Congratulations Ladies, it is always a pleasure to read your bestsellers! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

When I finished this book, I had the biggest, dopiest smile on my face, and my heart was so happy. This book was exactly what I needed. I love a good old-fashioned romance story, and it delivered in spades.

A well-balanced story, Nathan and Wes took me through every emotion. They're everything. Cute, sweet, funny, hot, and man was I sad for them when they couldn't get it right. Wesley and Nathan kept me on my toes and left me with all-around good feels and in a wonderful mood.

I know I can count on Drake and Elliott for my action books at every level (because Unbreakable and Ward, wow) but it was wonderful to read a fun and sexy contemporary romance from them. They knocked it out of the park; I really had a great time with Wes and Nathan, and this one will always make me smile. This one goes to the top of the reread pile, and I can't wait to see what happens in Pineapple Grove next.

I feel like Pineapple Grove is a real place, and I want to go hang out with the gang.
This is book 2 of the series and can be read as a stand alone, but really why would you not want to start at the beginning. Wesley and Nathan are the perfect enemy to lovers. Wesley owns and loves his little BB and Nathan being a major hotel developer, wants the land that Wesley's dream is located on, add that Nathan has a personal reason to want to build a hotel in PG, gives us the basis of a snarky, funny and emotional read.
As these two fight each other, some how they mange to find out they have more in common then what they thought. As each page is turned you find yourself rooting for them to come together for their very own HEA.

Loved This Book! It was very enjoyable & I was laughing out loud a few times to. Some of the bantering between Wesley & Nathan were hilarious. I cried a few times as well & my heart went out to the both of those men. But I was finally & truly happy when they can to an understanding & worked things out to have the HEA they both deserved. I also loved recent characters were mentioned in the book. Fingers crossed for Lincoln & Jamison's story...

God! Weslie and Nathan were amazing! I was a little worried about the enemies to lovers dynamic since some books make them totally irrational and unbelievable, but I shouldn’t have ever doubted these women. It was amazing! It was absolutely sexy and sweet and achingly adorable! I really loved it, it was just what I needed!
Also... can’t wait for a certain cafe owner and a mousy librarian to finally get together!

To hold on or let go

This was a great book! A true enemies to lovers story, with Wesley and Nathan on opposite sides of an issue and each with something to lose if the other wins. It was especially fascinating as Nathan has been the villain in the background in all the books up until now, the bad guy out to ruin everything. This book finally makes it so much more than that and it was amazing!

Nathan has been going after the property at Pineapple Grove that includes Wesley's Wilton Cottage for a year by this book. Nathan always insists that he is not going after that property in any sort of personal way, that it is just good business and the most ideal location in Pineapple Grove for a new hotel. It is finally revealed that his quest is personal, but not about Wesley. Nathan is going after that property to fulfil revenge against those who wronged him in his difficult childhood. It becomes clear that he is a good man with solid business practices who is trying to heal old wounds. It is actually easy time and to root for him to succeed, if in doing so it wouldn't crush Wesley. That is the crux of the matter. Wesley has built up that B&B and created a life and family he loves in that place. Nathan achieving his dream would require Wesley to give his up and as the two grow closer this becomes even harder to face.

It was extremely enjoyable that there was no lurking villain in this book. The two men didn't resort to any underhanded or shady actions to undercut the other man and get what they wanted. There was no side character or underling out to the trick the two into betraying each other. It was just Nathan, Wesley, and their dreams and desires. Seeing and understanding each other made it harder to single mindedly push for their dreams as it would hurt the other man. They had to consider each other, their employees, and their family and friends. It was a book of difficult choices but also so much love and growth. An excellent journey!

This little Florida town with its close knit community is a great place to escape to in books. The problems and joys of the characters feel real and relatable. Here's hoping that there will be more amazing Pineapple Grove books to come!

Another quick to read story set in Pineapple Grove during a stormy evening. Initially I wasn't a big fan of Wesley, he had a flair for overdramatic responses and seemed a bit annoying in the previous book. This time around as the main character we get to see him more and while he does have some over-the-top responses at times it was a bit more humorous or at least understandable. The rivals to lovers trope took a long time to gain my interest but they weren't the worst couple I've seen when all is said and done. I really didn't care much for Nathan but he grew on me and seemed the more sensible between the two. My biggest issue is with how the book ends. After all the agonizing that Wesley went through his response to the problem was that? I mean I sort of get it with wanting both parties to be happy, but at the same time it was wrapped up too neatly for me to really believe.

Now that is the writing I have come to love.

Loved this book, it kept you guessing how Wes and Nathan were going to get their HEA. Oh and you need tissues, I did cry. This was beautiful and the love and affection they had was breathe taking. Please need another story Lincoln and Jamison, even Rick. Love to see Jace’s sister end up with someone too. Its like a real family 😃.

Compromise

Wesley had put his heart and soul into Wilton Cottage, and Nathan was wanting to rip it apart. Nathan refused to take no for an answer, he had already bought all the property around the B and B, even Wesley neighbors were angry that he wouldn't sell. They dislike for each other had a bumpy road to love.

Enemies to lovers with a large helping of steam. Wesley is a sweetheart with a steel backbone who refuses to sell his B&B to the big hotel magnate. Nathan, believes the only way to feel worthy is to buy up the block Wesley's B&B is on and build a shiny high rise hotel. These guys were both complicated characters and I enjoyed the tension and the final happily ever after. 4.5*
