b Memories of a mother who has not let go of swords and cutting boards for many years.
A hearty story told by artist Kim Ae-ran b

Breaked by many readers Kim Ae-rans novel Kal-ja-guk was published in the ten volumes of the novels first encounter series. As a grown-up daughter celebrates her mothers funeral, she goes back and forth. Kim Ae-raen writes affectionately as a mother, as a woman, and as a human being, who embraces the life before her in her body. The intense and warm life can not be summed up simply as sacrifice, love, or maternity, so it is read deeply and leaves a long longevity. The clean and beautiful paintings of Jeongsooji illustrator add to the charm by combining with the novel.

Jingum Bridge from fairy tales to novels
Reading books and books for distant friends, first meeting of novels b

The first meeting of fiction is literary This is a new novel reading series that adds abundant illustrations to excellent short stories. An interesting story and a short amount of less than 100 pages, attractive illustrations lead readers who are unfamiliar with reading to feel free to access good works of contemporary life. In particular, with the growing polarization of reading power among teenagers, the teachers and parents at the school site received a favorable response. For those who have given up reading, they will be given a chance to get closer to the book and love literature, and become a stepping stone to novels for children who stop reading in fairy tales. To pump the water from the deep well, you have to pour the overpriced priming above. The novels first encounter series will bring freshness to our reading culture by serving as a medium to help those who are far from literature get closer to their books.

One of the best korean short novels I have ever read. "Knife Marks" is more than a text, is an experience seen through the eyes of a daughter, woman and mother to be. It describes in wonderful metaphors what is to be a woman marked by "knifes" in Korea, in a rather simple, yet captivating way.
