Oh my goodness! The suspense of Charlotte‘s kidnapping unfolded in such a way that I just couldn’t put the book down. I particularly liked the rotating POV from several characters as their thoughts feelings and perspectives are very different. With issues not yet resolved, reading the next book is an absolute must!

Simone Leigh is a master of keeping a story fresh and growing. The current book is a part of a series that never seems to grow old but yet leaves you wanting more at the end of each offering. Currently, Charlotte has been kidnapped and does what she must to survive. A notorious character from past books shows us a new side and becomes likable. Great read and great series.

Simone has done it again. This is another engrossing instalment to the saga of our favourite triad. Following her kidnapping from the maternity unit of the Hospital, Charlotte finds herself in the most desperate, lonely and uncertain situation. The entire book is about a very realistic description of her plight in her condition and her family’s unrelenting efforts in trying to find her with practically no leads. In spite of the obvious dangers to himself, Klempner comes back to the US to help find Charlotte/Jenny. Klempner manages to maintain an uneasy truce between himself and both Elizabeth and Michael. Slowly with everyone’s help and powers of observation, the possibility of finding Charlotte becomes more plausible. Simone is the mistress of cliff-hangers and we have to wait for the next book in the series to find out what happens to Charlotte and her baby. I for one, can’t wait.

“Ransom” begins where Target’s cliffhanger left us, Charlotte’s kidnapping. Simon Leigh has taken her series to the next level the storyline is so smooth and intriguing that I could not put this book down. This plot, suspense, drama, and the twists are another layer added to this exciting tale of Charlotte, Michael, and James. Mitch and Klempner, Richard and Beth along with Kristie and Ryan join this cast of amazing characters to race the clock to find Charlotte before she has the baby. The villains are out in full force in this one as well. “Ransom” is so deep and involving that you just can’t stop reading it until the last page and then…… this story does end in a cliffhanger which makes you want to strangle the author, but you just have to wait and read the next book “Hostage”. I absolutely love and recommend this book, but I’d suggest you read “Target” first.

Our heroine has been kidnapped for the hospital just as she is about to give birth. Talk about poor timing.

This is book two a new story arc in our long running BDSM series. The story picks up right where the last one ended, so at a minimum, be sure to read that one first.

The writing continues to be really good, with an engaging story line that keeps you interested and leaves you wanting more. The characters are well developed by this point, with their own needs, wants, faults and strengths. Together then bring the story to life, providing plenty of drama, humor, and steam to keep the reader engaged. This chapter once again brings mystery and intrigue into the mix, as nothing is as you think and there are lots of twists and turns to the plot. Overall, a highly enjoyable and engaging story.

Highly recommended.

This series is brilliant, full of suspense and action. I would suggest that you get some of the earlier books so you can best enjoy the storyline. I couldn’t put it down, this one also ends with another cliffhanger. It is full of suspense and action. The characters are so charismatic and full of life, you can't believe where the story is going to take you.

First of all, let me say this. I have been with Simone Leigh and this Triad since the very beginning. At this point, when I was offered an ARC of this book, I felt like I had been on a diet all this time and was being offered dessert. I've waited until I couldn't wait any longer and then just like I knew what would happen, I flew through the pages, hanging on every written word until I finished it. And OMG, she's done it to me again!! The heartfelt emotion, the drama, the angst, the shock and surprise. All these emotions come into play through this rollercoaster of events and then BAM!!, the cliffhanger. This book is worth so much more than five stars, but that's all I'm allowed to give. I'm on pins and needles again waiting to see what will happen next.

This book starts off dramatically, with the kidnapping of the heroine right when she is about to give birth. The villain of past books actually did NOT do the kidnapping and comes back to help. The author does a fantastic job of letting the reader know about his good as well as bad qualities (I think that's the sign of a well described character in a book). The huge problem is how to find the kidnapper and rescue her and the book leaves with as dramatic an ending (as a cliffhanger) as the book begins. I highly recommend this book!

This book is superb, once I started reading it, I couldn’t put it down. This book picks up directly where Target ended, this one also ends with another cliffhanger. The writing is fantastic and drew me into how the characters where feeling as well as how the surrounding area looked. All of my favorites from this series got a look-in during this book. The plot is brilliant, full of suspense and action. It’s an awesome story that I encourage anyone and everyone to start reading, you may want to get some of the earlier books so that you know who everyone is and how they are connected, it’s definitely well worth the time to read.

Charlotte has been Kidnapped. This book picks up where it left off. Charlotte is missing and James blames himself. They need to get some help and they do in the most unexpected place. As they search for Charlotte and looking at video feeds .With help from Richard and Elizabeth, Kristie and Ryan things start coming to a head. Can James be cool and calm . Will Michael allow anger to rule him. I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book. Simone has giving us a cliffhanger an a great story that keep me on the edge of my seat and couldn't wait to devour this story. well done Simone.

From Having Nothing to Having a Fierce, Loving Family Complete with Mom and Dad...WOW!!!
As Charlotte’s situation starts falling apart, her family, Mom, Dad, now technically three husbands and friends come together. I love the fierceness of the love and caring that everyone feels for her. She has had a long life of nothing and no one and now when it starts coming all together someone wants to tear it apart. I love the evolution of this story. I’m having a love/hate relationship with the cliffhangers. I am so mad I have to wait, but so anxious and excited to read what happens next!

Will they be able to find her

This book starts where the first book ended. Charlotte is again in trouble only this time she also has the baby she needs to thing about saving besides herself. Everyone is looking for her including James who blames himself.

The story of all the cast of characters is solid and engaging to the reader. You will be thrilled with the suspense, danger, plot twists and all the emotions. But be warned that this book ends in another cliffhanger so you will have to read the next book in the series to see what happens.

I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

This author does such a fantastic job building her characters, shaping them to grow and develop as people. They are not just flat-stamped roles or parts. I just loved seeing that growth in Ransom, especially in James, Michael, Mitch—and, yes, former baddie Klempner too. The suspense and tension over the missing Charlotte are mounting incredibly—it’s truly nail-biting! Even though this installment ends on a cliffhanger, it is beyond doubt my favorite of Simone’s yet! 5-stars. Sounds cliché, but I wish there were more stars I could give. Hope she hurries with the next episode!

WOW!! Charlotte was kidnapped from the hospital in the previous book. Was she the subject of the kidnapping, or confused with her friend Beth who is married to Billionaire Richard Haswell...does her real father come back to help find her and punish the people responsible....or will the very pregnant Charlotte have her baby before she can be rescued.... and will Michael and James blame themselves for her kidnapping, but to find out what happens and answers to these questions, you will need to read the book. I voluntarily read this book through an Advanced Reader Copy.

Master James, Michael, Mitch, Richard, Beth and everyone else in their lives get together and try to find out who wants Charlotte dead and waiting for Ransom! I was on the edge of my seat! Still am! I am loving and hating this book lol. I hope that Charlotte is okay! Target and Ransom are giving me goosebumps while waiting for the next book. This is such a thriller I love it!

This book is full of surprises til the very end. I must admit that throughout this whole ordeal Charlotte is resilient. It shows all too well in her actions to keep her baby and herself safe and comfortable as possible.

As for her loved ones they are at a lost til Klempner shows up. He was a long shot, but turns out to be the key. I love how Klempner is besides himself when it comes to Michael. I must that Kristie and Beth did prove that multiple eyes are better than two, along with a good memory. Can’t wait to see how this all plays out as time is ticking away..

This is a hold your breath though out the book.. The feelings and actions are real, and exciting. the cliff the reader falls off was going to land in a hard landing.
I can't image which way the story line will go. Through all the story lines I think of are not a happy ending for everyone. I love the way she brings all the characters into the story.

This is a great addition to the triads storyline. Will James and Michael get to Charlotte before its to late. Old and new alliances are remade. Who will survive this twist. OMG I read this as soon as I downloaded it and read it in one sitting now I’m on pins and needles for the next installment. This author sure knows how to write her plots to keep us coming back for more.

I just love Simone Leigh’s books. I read this book in a couple of hours. This is a continuation of Target. James and Michael are doing everything they can to find Charlotte before she goes into labor. Will the kidnappers contact them? Is Charlotte the intended target or were they after Beth? I can’t wait to find out what happens next in Hostage.

I finally exhaled as I read the last word. My heart is clenched and I am able to breath. Klempner is definitely a man's man and his ability with firepower is amazing. The scene where he is taking apart guns and cleaning them almost on autopilot is panty drop worthy. I say this every book but I cannot wait for the next book!!
