The holidays are the sweetest time of year, but not for Maggie and Killian who must return the Nutcracker prince to his proper place when someone tries to make sure the show does not go on.
Come along on this Maggie MacKay Holiday Short Story Special.

These short stories are set somewhat outside of the regular timeline and story of the series, but are no less fun. If anything, because there is no monumental big bad (just the regular, smaller-ish ones), we get to have more fun with Killian and Maggie.
This story is about the Nutcracker, who, of course, comes to life for Killian and Maggie, setting them on a magical, candy-filled adventure. There's giant rats, creepy puppets, and candy snow. It was silly, fun, and just zany enough to make me smile throughout. What's not to like here?
Maggie Mackay is the best supernatural tracker!! Her stories are funny, she’s brilliant and has a group of beloved characters that work with her. She’s a tough cookie with a big heart. Kate Danley breathes life into Maggie, her charming writing style with a kick A attitude makes Maggie’s books awesome. I can never put them down.
The NutMacker Sweet is a terrific holiday special. 4.8 stars
A fun story full holiday magic and adventure. Certainly a fun and twisted version of the Nutcracker. I could almost hear the music as the puppets defended their theatre against the rats. I love the holiday shorts...like eating little bites of candy. Enjoy!
Maggie and Killian meet rats, the Nutcracker and a magical record. The Seven-Headed Rat and his army are in the loose in Los Angeles. They find the Nutcracker to help them. This is a fun and quick story. It took me less than an hour to read it.
This book makes me want to go watch the Nutcracker. I absolutely love how they get dumped into the sugary Nutcracker story. It's cute especially with it being the holidays for Maggie and Killian. It's a nice Christmas vibe. I love it!
