Books like this I like to read when everyone in my house will be gone for a while. If I start to hear stuff it's probably a good book. I know that's weird but it's true. If it can pull me in...PERFECT. I thought it was someone else.
I really enjoyed this one, I'm on his list now. I'm looking forward to his new project!

1.5. Terrible. Only about 3 hours long but I couldn't even get through that. Unbelievable story, characters, reactions (who thinks a door banging sound must've just been an owl?) Plus the sound quality was horrendous. I kept wanting to shout Speak up! at my phone as I listened. Sorry I even wasted a Hoopla checkout on this.

I'm looking forward to reading Chancing Fate. I was given this book and told to read Chancing Fate next. This was an easy read and kept me interested, so now I'm off to my next book.

I listened to Chancing Fate in exchange for an honest review. At the end of it there was the book they had the first 9 chapters or so of this title and I was sucked in and had to purchase a copy to finish it. It was enjoyable. Not as good as the Chancing Fate but I enjoyed the story and suspense. It seemed a little cheesy near the end. Overall a good story with good narration.

Disclaimer: I've been listening at 2x speed for so long anything else sounds like slow motion. My enjoyment of the narrator is based on my listening speed. I only leave 5 stars for books I've listened to multiple times.
