IN A RACE AGAINST TIME TO SAVE THE WOMAN HE LOVES, DYLAN KANE FAILS.
NOW EVERY SINGLE PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR HER DEATH IS ON HIS KILL LIST.

When CIA Special Agent Dylan Kane returns home from assignment, he finds the apartment he shares with the love of his life, former Chinese Special Forces operator Lee Fang, empty.

Something is wrong—too many things appear slightly out of place.

Fang has been taken.

And the race to find her begins, with heartbreaking consequences that send Kane down a reckless path of despair and revenge, that may result in an international incident that could lead to war.

In Extraordinary Rendition, award winning USA Today and million copy bestselling author J. Robert Kennedy once again takes today’s headlines and twists them to his own ends. The result is a breathtaking, pulse-pounding thriller that will leave readers questioning everything they thought they knew about one of the most important scientific breakthroughs our society has come to rely upon.

Couldn’t put it down

My only complaint is that when I started it, it was so hard to put down, so I finished it in 1 day.

Former Chinese Special Forces operator, Lee Fang is living in America with her friend and lover Agent Dylan Kane. She knows someday, the Chinese will come after her but it has been several years and nothing has happened. Suddenly, after her daily run, she is abducted with her friend Sheri. Dylan comes home to find her gone and the house suspiciously askew. And the race to find her begins, with heartbreaking consequences that send Kane down a reckless path of despair and revenge, that may result in an international incident that could lead to war. This is a fast paced story that kept me on edge throughout!

A fitting temporary end to the series.

A superb thriller as an end, as such, of this very enjoyable series. Everyone is involved, all with their own way of helping out. There is humour to help get through the bad times and some tears.
Fang is kidnapped by a Chinese squad, wanted for her betrayal a few years ago. Sherie goes to her aid and is taken and left for dead. Now is the time to unleash Dylan with the team even though this is off the books to start with.
I look forward to his return in the not too distant future.

Should be rated a 10! Great read.

Awesome read. This is definitely the best Kane, but I always say that. I don't know how Rob comes up with these stories. I love the action and it's the jokes from Niner and Atlas that cracks me up.
Anxious for the next Kane story and Delta.

A Really Good Book

I have read other Dylan Kane novels. I love that this one has more emotional attachment to it without sacrificing the edge of your seat, super spy action we expect from a Kane novel. It's 300 pages approx and for the price I would love for it to be longer but the story is very well told and it's complete as it is. I just want more......

Formula book

I generally like these books , but they are getting a bit too “formula”. About half way through the book you can figure out what is going to happen .
Still , good reads to fall asleep to

Book 9

Book 9 was a fun read and had a few errors throughout. The plot and characters are well done and is exciting overall. The book had a nice twist to it and Kane was stabby in his revenge.

Good story lines. Occasional tongue in cheek humour. Loving this series.
