Rate this book
Everyone is excited when the world famous supernatural rockstar Cupcake moves in next door to Haunted Bluff Mansion.

Except for Cookie, of course. While she plots her usual ultimate destruction of those who annoy her, everyone else prepares for the party Cupcake is hosting.

All goes according to plan until a stagehand is found dead, apparently on his way to the Garbos’ estate.

Jane is on the case, but while she investigates the latest murder, she's also searching for something else, something special for Grant Hastings.

Will she find everything she's looking for? Or will the world as she knows it come crashing down around her, rockstar style.

Still needs a good editor.

In chapter 12 Jane goes in search of Jezebel. Suddenly Pep starts speaking when she wasn’t even introduced into the conversation or the place.

Seems like these last three books have had editing problems.

Also, Goodreads is not updated as there are 7 books in the series, not 6."

Just saying....

Can’t wait for number 8.

I like this series.

Jane deals with a murder, rock star, vicious vampires, bored supernaturals, a mob family, and finding a bracelet for Grant. The plot is well paced. I liked the name of the supernatural mob family: the Deadly family. While Jane is investigating a murder, her Grandmother is scheming to get her married off to Grant. Jane also has a battle with the evil vampires.

Love the series

This series is fun. Keeps you guessing who done it. My only dislike is the editing, I never realized until the last few years that I was such a stickler for spelling and grammar. But please don't let that keep you from reading these books and having a good time. Witches, ghosts, vampires and many other supernatural characters. Just plain fun

Jane Garbo mysteries #7

I have been waiting for the next book in this series and was thrilled when I found it had already come out. I love this family, the characters are fun and the grandma is a hoot. Definitely read the series. Well worth the effort.

Getting exciting

The series is finally progressing romantically. The murder mystery portion is becoming increasingly interesting. The Third favor of this series is heating up as well. Fantastic series.

Points off AGAIN for editing issues.

For the most part this installment was boring and maybe it's because I binged all the books in a week. I don't know.

The only part I seemed to care about was Grant and Jane. Pep and Dorian kind of got annoying because Pep is acting super childish when it comes to her feelings and actions.

The murder was meh and not at all surprising, not that I expect to it really be every time.

There were a couple of moments that were actually quite touching and some that were just annoying. Lol.

Despite the editing errors, inconsistencies, and some of the dullness, I overall really enjoy the series.

The famous neighbour next door

Another terrific read to add to the series. Everyone is bored until the arrival of the famous rock star and band arrive next door. What will it mean to everyone - Murder! A good plot but the best was watching the two young couples manoeuvre around themselves and Cookie up to her usual high jinks.
Add in a crime family, rumours, a battle, explosions, secrets and betrayals. Will they find out who the killer is? Will Rosie get more mice and cheese? Will the two couples get over their differences? What is the Root up too?

I want more!

I loved this one even more than the last. As the characters and their relationships develop, they're even more fun. EVEN Cookie is showing some love!
