With the Tuathan Brotherhood taken care of, Ember and the Wild Hunt gear up for the coming darkness that threatens to plunge their lives into chaos. But first, they take on the ancient liche who stole Talia's powers. Lazarus is living near Winter Hall Magical Academy, located near Mt. Rainier. Over the centuries, he's grown so strong that it seems futile to take him on. But with Lazarus stalking the students, stealing not only their magical powers but their lives, the Wild Hunt can't allow him to roam free. Before they can confront him, Talia takes it on herself to reconnoiter the situation and ends up trapped in a maniacal web that easily spell her death. I like that with this book Talia gets to face the big bad that stole her power, making her the woman she is today. The thing is that I really like who she is now, not sure I would have liked her as a harpy, but I'm glad that she got closure. Of course things didn't go as expected and Talia did a super stupid thing. I was glad that the universe took matters into their own hands and helped steer Talia's fate.

Ember had a few freak outs that really seemed to come out of left field, about Angel. It makes perfect sense, but not sure why all of a sudden she is really freaking out about this.

I loved the move that Hearne made for his daughter, it needed to be done and showed her how important she is to him.

This world keeps growing in size and complexity with every book. I love it. Ember takes a trip onto the astral realm to rescue a young man’s soul, and the whole crew is working to bring down an ancient and particularly vindictive supernatural creature. This is the end of one phase of the series and the beginning of what is to come. This book was a great closing to what has happened up to this point. We got some closure for some of the characters, which sounds like they will need it for when the dragon wakes up! I loved how true Angel is to herself when it comes to her relationship. It is always hard to set your boundries and to not let others push them, even those you love. This has been such an amazing series so far and I have already got the next book and will be diving in today.

Yes, I pulled an all night 🌙 reading session!

The Wild Hunt series is truly magical... From the characters whom are so deep, to the incredibly well rounded plots ~ it's a huge out of this world adventure!
I Loved The Eternal Return for so many reasons ~ namely Herne, Ember, Angel, Yutani, Viktor, Talia, Raven Kipa, Raj , and Mr. Rumblebutt.
This group of friends and co-workers has a rapport.
Life is about love and friendship, and Ms.Galenorn proves it with her twisty plots. Thank you,Ms. Galenorn, for creating yet another book that truly consumed me from page one.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go curl up in a ball for a while because this book is out of pages, much to my dismay.

This is an amazing book that from the moment that you start reading you are taken to a world which consists of magic and evil and mystery. It moves along at an amazing pace, which is perfect for reading. The characters are amazing and you feel as though you now them and no matter what you want to see them succeed no matter what they are going up against. The story will grab you and ot let you go until you finish the last page and then you are looking for the next book. This is a must read, no doubt about it.

This is not a book to start with, it is part of an arc that should be read from the beginning. If you’ve read the series up to here, I’m sure you’re looking forward to the next book. This time, a plague of fairies must be relocated, and the evil liche, Lazerous, to be dealt with. He’s been sucking the magic from witches for eons, and now is attacking local students, so the Wild Hunt is tasked to end his killing spree. He’s so powerful that a more-powerful ally is needed, a powerful witch and necromancer. It’s a dangerous, frightening adventure that the Wild Hunt embarks on.

Yasmine Galenorn further cements herself as one of my favorite authors with each book she writes. I didn’t do an all night read as I sometimes do. I savored it in small doses over maybe a week or two. I’m glad I did, because now I don’t have too long to wait before another Yasmine Galenorn book releases! If you like suspense, action, mystery and magic, with a kick ass female protagonist and whole slew of supporting characters, you’ll love this series. I know I do.

I love all of Yasmine's writing. I like this particular series because I run a BnB on the Olympic peninsula and I relate to many of the characters and locations. I also like the story of a witch coming into her own. This book was a fast read, and I thought the plot was a little thin. But I've read enough(all) of her books and know she is just taking me on this journey. Can't wait for the next one.

Another great addition to the series

This is the end of one phase of the series and the beginning of what is to come. This book was a great closing to what has happened up to this point. We got some closure for some of the characters, which sounds like they will need it for when the dragon wakes up! I loved how true Angel is to herself when it comes to her relationship. It is always hard to set your boundries and to not let others push them, even those you love.
Ember and the rest of the gang also grew a little but not as much. I cant wait to see what happens as we enter the next phase of the books!

So much happening.....

This book was full of ups and downs. It was interesting to see more of the culture of the magic-born and to see that even those who've been alive for centuries can make mistakes. But friends and family are always there to pull you through.

So far one of my favorites in this series! I’ve been waiting for the story of their battle against the liche who almost killed Talia all those many years ago. And left her a shell of a Harpy. I gotta say that Yasmine can write some epic battles!! I loved it!! Soo worth the wait!

Great Ending

I loved this book. It was a wonderful end to the first story arc with characters coming into their power and making new alliances. This book was an action packed yet heartfelt firework of a closing story, and I'm so excited to see what comes next for the Wild Hunt crew!

Another immersive trip into this world...

Wow. This world keeps growing in size and complexity with every book. I love it. This book felt a little creepier to me. Ember takes a trip into to rescue a young man’s soul, and the whole crew is working to bring down ancient and particularly vindictive supernatural creature. A really engrossing read.
